TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

UUtente anonimoÈ stato un soggiorno molto confortevole e piacevole con i bambini. Il padrone di casa ha preparato appositamente una cena sontuosa per i bambini golosi del B&B, incluso il mio pollo al pepe preferito. Eravamo più di dieci persone, metà cinesi, metà stranieri, metà ragazze e metà signori. Ci siamo scambiati e discusso informazioni di viaggio e itinerari. Altamente raccomandato per i bambini che amano socializzare.

La posizione è anche molto conveniente, il viaggio e la cena sono molto vicini, vivere in silenzio e comodo, il rapporto di prezzo è eccezionale, la prossima volta riacquisto, davvero raccomandato!

Location: Very convenient. Short 10 minute Didi taxi ride (10rmb) to the ancient city. Or can take bus (2 RMB) 15mins. From Airport Didi 15 mins (20 RMB).
Room: The room is clean, with fast wifi, very cool aircon, smart lights and curtains. Has all the amenities you need: kettle, great hairdryer and each day will have basic room cleaning and you get new toiletries and bottled water.
Besides the comfort of the room, what makes this place really great are the staff. From the moment you arrive, they come out to greet you, take you into their cozy reception room and check you in while enjoying fruits and/or Xinjiang nut snacks. Not all staff spoke English but any translation app will do and they all are so willing to help. They gave very valuable advice of places to visit so ask them any questions! The owner can speak English and I'm sure you will get to meet him as he is very hands on and around everyday to make sure all his guests are taken care of and enjoying their stay. He is a great guy and I believe is the real reason what makes this hotel so good!
When I come back to Kashi/Kashgar, no hesitation I will definitely stay at this hotel. Highly recommend!!!

I nostri ospiti hanno aiutato con tutto questo, e la posizione è ideale - nella vecchia città, ma proprio per un'uscita per prendere i taxi e arrivare e uscire dal transito. Non posso consigliare questo posto abbastanza.

Ci sono anche dieci minuti per andare a piedi da Hush antiquariato.

EemdethuongVolevo un posto all'interno della vecchia città che accetta stranieri. Questo accetta stranieri, per tutti i viaggiatori stranieri. Il soggiorno che ho prenotato è stato chiuso senza preavviso. Mi sono presentato al posto per essere completamente confuso. Ma dopo qualche linguaggio corporeo, finalmente ho trovato un aiuto per parlare con il proprietario per telefono, e lui mi ha preso e mi ha portato in un altro soggiorno di casa di sua sorella, che è anche nel complesso della vecchia città. La stanza era più piccola di quella che ho prenotato, ma ho accettato di rimanere. Il proprietario di casa (Han) era caldo e benvenuto, quindi lascio fuori la cosa sfortunata. Tutte le convogli tra me e il proprietario sono via app di traduzione perché nessuno parla inglese e tutto va bene. Persone di aiuto.
La prima foto è stata la stazione di Jingyi, che è stata chiusa per la stagione, mentre la restante foto è stata l'altra stazione di Jingyi, che è stata presa nel complesso della città antica, non lontano da Jingyi.

SSeemaHo soggiornato qui con i miei due bambini sotto i quattro anni e ho adorato l'esperienza. L'hotel è situato in una posizione privilegiata, dove Eid Gah è a due minuti a piedi e la strada pedonale del cibo e l'antica città proprio dall'altra parte della strada. L'hotel è generalmente molto pulito, tuttavia quando sono entrato nella mia camera mi sono sentito come se il pavimento avesse bisogno di una migliore pulizia. Ho potuto vedere chiaramente che alcuni residui di dieta erano sparsi su tutto il pavimento. Il personale è super gentile e disponibile, sono stati molto collaborativi con la mia incapacità di capire il cinese. La colazione è fantastica. Offrono una grande varietà di prodotti, dalla frutta al pane, alle bevande e alle zuppe/pasta di fagioli. Ho notato che il pane era raffermo ma c'erano sicuramente altre opzioni disponibili. Puoi anche fare il bucato senza dover acquistare il detersivo 🥹 al 5° piano. L'ho fatto due volte. 😄 La mia vita è stata molto più semplice con i bambini. Ci tornerò quindi.

FFAIZAL SAMATStayed for a week in this homestay, the boss lady was very kind and she goes above and beyond her job role there to help me .She is one of the reason that make my stay more enjoyable. The Facilities were clean and proper, if you need any changing of linen , beddings , cleaning, just tell the boss lady and she gladly help out. This homestay stays open 24 hours, so you don't need to be worried about coming back late. Location of this place is incredible , right at the heart of the bazaar. Need food? just 5 secs walk , near to the main entrance too. Don't worry , the noise of the bazaar won't reach to your rooms. I highly recommend this place if you happen to stop by Kashgar. Bring your families and friends to stay here, you won't regret. Boss lady , if you read this, thank you so much for helping me, appreciate it.
