Hotel a Sousse Medina, Tunisia

I am really very disappointed with my last stay in Movenpick Sousse. I can't find a word that describes this terrible experience and I will simply list the problems that I had to go through: - During the check in, I had to go through the queue 3 times. Since the room was not ready, the lady told me that she will bring me the room access card once available so I will not need to got through the queue again, and of course she did not. I went twice through the long queue for almost 30 min in order to get the room card -I booked a King bed room and they gave me a twin bed room. The lady in the reception did not accept to change the room and she told the will change the mattress to a big single one over the two twin bed and of course she did not -The towels are dirty and stinky -The sink is clogged - The TV is not working - We kept the do not disturb sign in the room during our stay because my wife got sick but this was not respecting by the house keeping and the maintenance agent. They entered the room without our permission - Their excuse is that they received an order form their manager !! -In the restaurant and during the diner, I asked the waiter for a cutlery (because you almost never find a prepared table in the restaurant) - The waiter pointed his finger to another table and told me to get it by myself !!! I am still shocked by this impolite answer !! I still cannot understand how this kind of unpleasant events can happen in this hotel and all together during one stay. If my wife wasn't sick, I would have left the hotel since day one. In short, this is a half start hotel

Sono rimasto qui per rilassarmi per qualche settimana. Il Marriot è un hotel meraviglioso, tutto era buono circa la vacanza. Ci sono solo poche cose che hanno lasciato l'hotel giù. Il divertimento era una chiave molto bassa alla notte e poteva essere migliorato. Anche questa scelta se l'hotel non è grande per le persone. Non molto vivace e non abbastanza per andare in notte ho dovuto andare fuori dall'hotel alcune sera sono stato in Tunisia molte volte negli anni. Mi aspettavo di più dall'hotel.

The hotel itself is a bit tired but the staff really are what makes it. They are attentive and jolly (one member of the bar staff was miserable the whole duration - might be in the wrong profession?!). The food is acceptable. It lacks seasoning and flavour but it does of course need to cater to as many palettes as possible. If you like flavour, take your own condiments (I hesrd the ketchup was rubbish but didn't try it perdonslly). The food is also a bit repetitive largely consisting of grilled meat (beef, turkey, quail) and fish, stewed lamb, chicken and beef, potatoes (mashed, sautéed), chips/fries, grilled vegetables (courgettes, carrots, squash, tomatoes, okra), pasta and pizza, soup. There was also a variety of different salads and bread (which always seemed stale to me). At breakfast there is no bacon! There are omelettes, fried and poached eggs cooked to order. The omelettes were delicious. There was also grilled vegetables, beans (not the baked beans us Brits know and love), grilled frankfurters, pancakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and museli, fresh juice and tea and coffees. Our waiter, Salah, was great. He kept us topped up with drinks and made sure we had everything we needed. He was always smiling and welcoming when he saw us head over to the tables and it made us feel like special guests to receive his superb service. The rooms are spacious, but despite requesting a double garden view room we were given a room overlooking the car park and two single beds pushed together. The pillows were not comfortable - a bit too hard and thick for me. Plenty of storage space but very few hangers. A wash and ironing service can be provided at additional cost. Tea and coffee making facilities are available but we didn't make use. The tea wasn't great so take your own teabags. The bathroom is huge, equipped with a bath and shower overhead. the shower was always warm but not high pressured, though did a good enough job for washing my hair and rinsing out sand, shampoo etc. Our bath didn't drain well and took a while so no showers in quick succession. The hairdryer in the bathroom is terrible - I never managed to fully dry my hair with it. Do take your own. There is a vanity table and mirror in the room but I found the lighting at night too dark to do my makeup. the bathroom was better lit. Drinks are ok. Beer is a 3% local and red wine a 13% local drop. The white wine tastes like vinegar so we avoided that after the first glass or two. Cocktails are strong but very sweet. They have Coca Cola and other local soft drinks poured from bottles so can be a little flat. All drinks are served in tiny glasses/paper cups, some people had taken their own (pint) glass out with them and the bar staff did fill them. The entertainment wasn't our cup of tea - karaoke, quiz, live music, drag show. unfortunately it was too chilly to sit outside so we were confined to drinking in the lobby where the entertainment was on, so we were largely subjected to

Sono rimasto qui come una sola donna che viaggia per due settimane nel luglio. Dopo aver letto alcune delle cattive recensioni, ero un po' incerto. Sì, il suo giorno come la maggior parte degli appartamenti in Tunisia ma il suo spotlessly clean, letto e asciugamani sono stati cambiati ogni giorno grandi viste scrollate al berretto e posizione direttamente dalla spiaggia 10TD per parasol e letto solare per il giorno e tutto il personale è bello e amichevole.C'è un caffè direttamente sotto per tutto quello che ti serve e gli appartamenti sono molto spaziosi. Sì, il suo alto a notte come quello su una strada principale con molti bar e club notturni.Usai le mutandine d'orecchio e non ho avuto problemi a dormire. Sono una persona molto confusa quando si tratta di appartamenti e hotel e mi consiglierei di rimanere di nuovo

Molto buon hotel

Hotel peggiore di sempre. Prima cosa siamo entrati e l'hotel l'abbiamo trovato sporchissimo e in procinto di crollare, manager che quel giorno indossava un vestito verde e delle scarpe alte (non so il nome) ci ha accolto in maniera cordiale inizialmente, successivamente ha cambiato completamente atteggiamento, scortesissima e controbatteva ogni reclamo, era scritto sia sul web che sul sito a quanto ci era stato comunicato dalla ragazza dell'agenzia che potevamo fare il check-in dalle 7 del mattino, cosa che ci è effettivamente sembrata strana e difatti ci hanno detto di aspettare fino alle 14. Quindi dopo tutta la mattinata in attesa abbiamo fatto il check-in alle 14 ed abbiamo aspettato un'ora e mezza per ricevere la chiave della stanza già pagata interamente al momento della prenotazione due mesi prima di arrivare. Avevamo prenotato tramite agenzia e sembrava un hotel come un'altro con molti comfort e la ragazza ci aveva anche detto che era un buon hotel con buone recensioni. Bene ci siamo ritrovati tutt'altro. Ci è stata consegnata una stanza sporchissima, capelli sul pavimento, sabbia, piscio non lavato e tanto altro, che per disgusto mio e rispetto di chi legge eviterò di esplicare nel dettaglio. Dovevamo ricevere una stanza vista mare e l'abbiamo ricevuta vista immondizia (letteralmente), oltre tutto questo dovevamo ricevere una stanza per quattro persone e ci è stata data una stanza per tre con i letti non ancora pronti e le lenzuola sporche di giallo. Abbiamo richiesto una nuova stanza e ci è stata data una peggiore della prima, allora giustamente noi arrabbiati abbiamo richiesto un'altra nuova stanza, alcuni del personale sono stati pazienti e cordiali e ci hanno mostrato sfortunatamente altre stanze sempre sporche e terribili. Ho, giustamente richiesto di parlare con il direttore perché non è possibile gestire e lasciare attivo un hotel in quelle condizioni, ed una volta arrivato in mia presenza mi ha ignorato ed è passato dritto anche dopo che il personale gli ha indicato che ero io quello che voleva parlargli. È stata una totale mancanza di rispetto da parte sua che si è poi presentato a parlare dopo un'altra ora di attesa attorno alle 17:00 Dopo avergli comunicato tutti i problemi riscontrati mi ha controbattuto con un ”mi dispiace, ha ragione”, noi ormai alle 17:30 stanchi dal viaggio abbiamo accettato la stanza che ci è stata pulita come di dovere ma non in maniera soddisfacente. E non finisce qui, il condizionatore perdeva acqua costantemente anche dopo che sono venuti dei tecnici ad aggiustarli, e l'acqua nella doccia non usciva adeguatamente. Abbiamo però comunque deciso di rimanere, anche perché il viaggio è stato lungo, eravamo stanchi e non potevamo tornare indietro a quell'ora. La mattina dopo come dicevo ci avevano risolto, per modo di dire, il problema del condizionatore lasciando la stanza sporchissima, la signora delle pulizie, che povera era da sola per pulire due piani interi, e arrivata solo in tardo pome

L' hotel è molto bello , vicino alla spiaggia , la cena è molto buona , piscina e bevande anche molto buona . Buona esperienza per me . Durante il mio recente soggiorno al Palazzo di Sousse, ho avuto il piacere di interagire con molte persone che hanno mostrato un livello di professionalità e gentilezza che supera le mie aspettative. Un grande grido a Ahmed Mahjob per il loro incredibile servizio e gentilezza. Esempio di professionalità e la sua calda ospitalità ha aggiunto un meraviglioso toccamento al mio soggiorno e lo rende veramente memorabile.

Hotel molto ben situato pulito molto bene mantenuto Colazione semplice e preziosa Invece le camere sono difficili d’accesso con una pressione o sedia a rotelle Una presa disponibile sotto la TV e una nella bagno. È deplorevole se abbiamo più telefoni da caricare Il clima è regolato in anticipo ci è stato impossibile di diminuire il clima quella è molto forte abbiamo dovuto spegnerlo.

Un hotel molto bello elegante e tradizionale in una bella posizione centrale. Personalmente, ho amato molto l'hotel. L'atmosfera e il servizio erano eccellenti. Molto simpatico e intelligente. Le camere erano molto pulite. L'accoglienza, la casa e la sicurezza, così come il personale di cucina sono molto buoni! Mi piace sempre venire qui.

Mentre è un po' difficile trovare nelle strade di vento della Medina, l'hotel è una bella gemma nascosta che tanto me quanto mio padre amavano. La nostra camera è ben attrezzata, con aria condizionata e ha una bagno molto pulita.La terrazza del tetto offre una vista magnifica sulla linea di Sousse e Medina e è perfetta per la notte per godere della chiamata alle preghiere. La colazione è servita nella zona principale del tribunale dell'hotel. Molto ben decorata e il colazione era molto tradizionale. Niente troppo pesante, ma ancora riempiendo. Sai che la cura e l'amore sono andati a farlo.
