I’m writing the review day four of my seven day trip. I want to make sure that I write a review before real life hits me when I get home and not do it. We booked this trip last minute with my senior citizen parents and my husband. My dad wanted a get away. So we book it a week out . I was looking for a unicorn of a resort. Boutique feel with large resort amenities, that has modern rooms in a tropical/jungle environment. I’m going to be honest after reading all the reviews I was a little nervous about this resort. I’m kind of high maintenance. I have to tell you this has been the best all inclusive experience I have ever had . And I’ve been going to all inclusive since I was a teen, 30+ years. This resort went beyond my expectations. * The grounds are beautiful. In a lush jungle, you can’t find one leaf out of place. * The beach has turquoise water with sand that feels like flour. We’re here at the end of June beginning of July and we have no seaweed at all. I know this is lucky. * Premium liquor served, I’m talking kettle one vodka! Drinks are not watered down. They make excellent drinks and they have the right stemware! The dirty martini was excellent and I am picky Negroni, aperol spritz, sparkling wine, all Perfect. They have that traditional drinks like piña coladas that are excellent. * Baili beds all over the resort, including the beach are for Free! I have paid $600 at last hotel * Housekeeping is wonderful and keep the place clean and come every day and do a turn down. * Pools are very clean and don’t smell like they’ve been over chlorinated * At the beach, they have sunscreen and face towels * The bathroom at the beach is air-conditioned. Something rare. * Actually, all the restaurants are air-conditioned unless you’re dining outside obviously. * Room service is 24 hours and the food is delicious and delivered very fast. They refill your fridge with great snacks, including nuts, chocolates chips, and of course cokes beer, water.,,. * As I said, I’m high maintenance and all request are done in a timely manner with a smile. And I had some weird requests. * You never have to wait more than five minutes on a golf cart * I saved the best for last. The employees! The customer service I have received here has been better than staying at a five star resort . And this year I have stayed in a few five star hotels (American five star hotel not Mexican)and service was not as good as here. Employees have smiles on their faces, remember your drinks, remember your name,and are very efficient. I brought $200 cash to tip and it’s gone by day four because everyone does such a great job. It gives me pleasure to give them a tip. They really earn it. I’m talking from the service desk ,to the golf cart driver , to waiters, to bartenders, towel guy, omelet lady, cleaning stuff, entertainment committee…… Food is always a controversial topic at all inclusive.
