Singapore, Kian Teck Dormitory: hotel nei paraggi

Great location: About 10 minutes walk to the nearby mall and subway station. There is a Bus stop right outside of the hotel’s main entrance. Staff: very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom are clean but very small. We stayed on the third floor. The soundproofing of the room is very bad. We heard the couples staying next room who made noise at late night. It was loud and disgusting. In addition, there had been some maintenance work going for a few days which was noisy for a few hours each day Food: There is a small restaurant at the top floor.We went up one time and there were a lot of people. And we saw there were not enough staff to serve the people. There is a breakfast place on the ground floor. But they are closed for lunch and breakfast. There is a vending machine in the lobby that offers snacks and instant noodle, which is good. In addition, there are trolleys available in the entrance and you can use it to bring all luggages to your room.

在curtin Singapore讀書，離學校新址挺近的，公交15分鐘，離金文泰也很近，酒店週一到週五提供歐陸早餐，雖然種類很有限，但是早餐來説營養夠了尤其那個火腿蠻好吃的，酒店公寓房間是我看到新加坡酒店算是比較大的了，有廚房可以做飯廚具餐具也都有，洗衣機帶烘乾機很方便，周圍附近也有食閣，不過酒店樓下就有一個pasta餐廳味道也很不錯，而且離west coast park也特別近很適合跑步，house keeping是週二週四週六做，也不會太打擾到休息，總體這個公寓是很不錯的，很安靜適宜居住如果不是很喜歡吵鬧的話，不過也是挺難訂到的

Near to area that I aim to go which is the NUS.. Not sure in regard to other attraction places in Singapore.. Simple room.. Quite small space.. They have almost all basic items like mini fridge, iron, iron board, safety box, TV, kettle, water heater works well.. Bathroom amenities only supply dental kit.. Air cond room works well.. Check out time is 11am..

Onestamente ero un po' titubante nel prenotare questo hotel non sapendo se sarebbe stato bello o no, ma appena sono entrato mi è piaciuto moltissimo! Ho prenotato per 2 notti con amici ed è andato tutto bene. Puoi anche cucinare e lavare i tuoi vestiti, il bagno è pulito, così come la stanza. . questo hotel ne vale sicuramente la pena ed è meno costoso di altri hotel :) In realtà è spazioso ed è confortevole, verrei sicuramente di nuovo qui! Per quanto riguarda la posizione non è poi così male, c'è un sacco di cibo da comprare ed è a circa 5 minuti a piedi ma non c'è molto da fare a meno che non prendi un mezzo di trasporto per raggiungere i posti.. Ancora 10/10 per me! Cordiale anche la reception :))

However, during our five-night stay, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was intermittent every day, which was a little inconvenient for guests who need a stable network. In addition, the breakfast part is a bit disappointing. The number of dishes is relatively small, but we don’t mind. The texture and taste of the food can be improved. With a price of over S$40 per person paid on site, we expect the food quality to be more in line with the price level to further enhance the overall accommodation experience. It is worth mentioning that the hotel is strategically located, about a 10-minute walk from the nearest MRT station (Buona Vista). There is also a bus stop at the door, and there are many bus routes for easy access. Among them, bus number 14 can go directly to Orchard Road, and the transportation is very convenient. . 這次入住的經驗整體令人滿意，房間寬敞舒適，窗外景色優美，設備完善，櫃檯人員非常親切且專業，讓人倍感溫馨。 不過，這次連續入住五晚，房間內的Wi-Fi訊號每天都出現斷斷續續的情況，對於需要穩定網路的客人來說稍有不便，建議貴飯店能檢視並改善網路的穩定性。 另外，早餐部分稍有遺憾。雖然菜色品項較少尚可接受，但食物的口感與味道有提升空間。以每人現場付費超過新幣40元的價格而言，期望餐飲品質能更符合價格水準，進一步提升整體住宿體驗。 值得一提的是，飯店地理位置優越，距離最近的MRT車站（Buona Vista）步行約10分鐘，門口也有公車站，有多條公車路線方便通行，其中14號可直達烏節路，交通十分便利。

Ho prenotato una camera Premiere ma la mia camera era molto più piccola rispetto alla volta precedente. Che è la camera Deluxe. Sto pagando di più ma la mia camera era più piccola. Quando ho informato la reception, mi ha detto che era la disposizione a farla sembrare più piccola. E non mi hanno nemmeno cambiato con una camera più grande. Il che è ingiusto nei miei confronti perché sto pagando per una camera più grande. Anche la receptionist non è così amichevole. Non mi piace molto perché i miei figli non possono correre per la stanza come facevano prima quando prenotavo e pagavo meno per una camera più piccola. Per favore, insegna alla tua receptionist a sorridere perché rappresenta l'hotel come un'azienda di prima linea.

My experience with lyf one north has always been excellent which is why I keep coming back when I need to recharge and rest. Somehow this time it has been an unpleasant and frustrating experience. It started from the female front desk when I checked in asking for my credit card. Recall lyf does not have room (meals), f&b or laundry service for us to charge to. Was told “just in case” and no further explanation given. Requested for extra towel and had to explain its usage. Thank goodness she didn’t ask me to explain the bathroom slippers usage. Also requested for a quiet room and didn’t expect much as I know lyf might have full occupancy and may not be able to oblige. Just felt thankful and then disappointed that she found me a “very quiet room”. But it was a really “very noisy room”. -situated in between amphitheater and exterior of kitchen dining area where people gather to chat -staff constantly uses the blower to ensure leaves stay away from the compound -room located along corridor for access to kitchen and pool meaning higher traffic -public bus engine pulling away from the bus stop every few minutes As far as I know, Iyf’s room at one north is quiet. And somehow this is the one room where all the noises from every possible combination adds up. And the front desk at lyf is not aware of this. And it doesn’t end there. I checked out at 7+ am at the front desk and in the afternoon around 1pm got a call from a staff who asked me if I check out as they didn’t receive my check out card. I told him I passed it to one of the female staff at the front counter. To be fair, none of these ever happened for all the times I have been staying at Iyf but this one time, everything from the start to the end went wrong and added on to my utter frustration with Iyf. One thing I discovered though, the male staff working at the kitchen area, he was dedicated to his job. Constantly keeping the exterior clean all the time. And the front desk who served me, though she didn’t get me the “very quiet room”, I could sense her enthusiasm and she even helped a guest extended his check out time which I appreciated her kind gesture. Not every front desk staff would go the extra mile.

Room and common space, pool, gym all the facility is quite new and well maintained. Service is also good. When I getting back from the swimming pool in wet because of the sudden rain, a male staff kindly told don't worry and followed the way to wipe the path to keep the path from slipping. The only disadvantage is there's only one food court downstairs, very few options for dining. Generally very good place to stay.

Il servizio è molto attento

Questo è stato un soggiorno davvero memorabile con mia zia. Prima di tutto, il personale era molto gentile e disponibile. Sono stati molto disponibili e attenti a spiegarci tutto ciò che dobbiamo sapere sull'hotel. Siamo riusciti a goderci il cestino alimentare galleggiante presso la veranda al 7 ° piano, motivo per cui inizialmente abbiamo deciso di fare il check-in appositamente in questo hotel per provare un tale lusso🥰 ho ricevuto molti complimenti ahahah sul mio FB IG e su Other Socmed acc. A parte questo, l'hotel è circondato da punti ristoro che servono cucina locale e internazionale e chi ignorerebbe COFFEEEEEE... c'è Starbuck, un bel croissant nelle vicinanze e persino un delizioso caffè locale in giro. Vicino anche alle fermate dell'autobus e IKEA non dimenticare a un passo.
