The facilities are good and clean. However, the balcony is too small to accomodate two persons. The tiles in bathroom is attractive and the bronze hose is so lovely. I will come again in the near future. Photo views from the balcony are attached below for reference.

Nice place and good service, the room is so elegant clean and comfotable,This hotel located in the heart of genkeng old village surrouned with local food shop,easy to traveling,we love this place.

the stay was nice and pleasant. lots of shops around the hotel and it's not so hectic. there's are many restaurants around and also fast food nearby. the rooms were clean and all amenities are included. they even upgraded one of the rooms for us to a connecting room for ease. there is a buggy service to bring you around the old town but we just choose to walk instead.

The hotel is one of a kind, it’s fully depicting the historical buildings know as “Tulou”, same shape, same tower alike rising over the village. I love its interior decoration, the mosaics everywhere are simply a masterpiece of its own. The project is wholesome and unique, retro charm is wonderful. My room was the best, incredibly cozy, with two huge windows. The bathroom area was the most comfortable I’ve ever seen by the time. Decoration with the colorful tiles and shower system made of “bronze” - such a chic. The staff and cleaners were genuinely friendly and helpful all the way through the entire stay. I stayed in the middle of May day holiday craziness, with thousands of visitors in the village below, but up at my room I didn’t hear any sound of crowds, that was the best part of my experience, as I looked for peace and calmness. The bed and bedding all soft and comfy to the point. The amenities are all presented whatever you need it. The location is gorgeous: right at the entrance to the village and out of crowds path. In contrast to the other boutique hotel in the village which is simply in the middle of chaos, noise and dirtiness. The breakfast was not provided but right downstairs next door there’s KFC and their meal is perfect for the first meal of the day. I personally ordered delivery, too, and it was brought exactly to my door. I was like in heaven - really wonderful stay and romantic room with perfect decoration.

Strategically located at the middle of the ancient town. The room I booked is large and spacious , never expected it comes with cotton bath rope which is a bonus point. Staff is friendly and approachable . The room layout and design meets the title of nanyang style .highly recommended ! Gankeng ancient town is worth the visit and stay a night

The location is very convenient. When you come out of the hotel, there are many things to walk around, eat and stroll around.

We have total 8 people stayed at this beautiful hotel and all agreed that it is a good service and good location.

My kid wanted to stay one more day. 🥰 I booked the different room type. It says “mountain view” but the view was village and mountain view 💜 when you wake up, you can see a historical village view. The room is pretty spacious for a family with 2 little kids. 🥳 Staffs were very kind and helpful. I will visit this area and stay this hotel again ☺️

The hotel is in an excellent location in the old town, and given the price is reasonable, the services and quality are acceptable.

This is an honest review. We had the best experience staying in this hotel. And I have 0 complains in terms of everything. When we got there the Hotel staff upgraded to a family room therefore each of us had 2 queen bed so each of us managed to sleep on a queen bed just by our selves! But even without the upgrade, we would have still rated this place 5 star. The WiFi is fast. Water pressure in the toilet is soo good that you don't want leave the toilet. It has both a rain shower and a normal shower. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the main entrance. It's the first hotel from the entrance as well so you don't have to walk far from the entrance. The staff's here were Very polite they always recommend us the best place to visit and eat here. We had a mandarin speaker friend with us who was speaking to the staff however no worries, they can still speak some basic English and if you have an issue, you can always use a translator app to communicate (we used Google translate). Overall if we ever comeback again to Gangken Hakka Village, we will definitely stay here. The price we booked as well was way much more cheaper then other hotels around which was a plus point for us. Getting to the hotel: First of all, for those taking the Metro train, you'll need to get out from the Gangkeng station (pink line) then when you're out you'll fine some Tuk Tuk (or can take Didi their local Uber) there which you can take to the Village entrance. From there on, walk 3 minutes and you'll find the Hotel. *Note you'll see MacDonald then enter to the row on the right straight to the Hotel Lobby. It's 1 minute walk from Macdonald's.

Extremely clean compared to any hotel I’ve stayed to n china. A very unique and eclectic design in the heart of a fantastic ancient town. The front staff is very polite and helpful.

We had a lovely stay. They upgraded us with connecting room. Great location if you plan to visit the ancient town.
