Nice Hotel, badly positioned. This hotel is almost new, it’s clean, modern and well serviced by the staff. It’s every bit as good as it looks in the photographs and should be the ultimate destination. Unfortunately, it’s on the flight path to the airport. Every single aircraft approaches over the beach, pools and rooms, day and night and there are a lot of them, sometimes every 15 mins. They are very loud and cause your room to shake as they pass over, approximately 100m over your head. The aircraft touch down approximately 10 seconds after they pass over so you can imagine the proximity to the airport.If you are looking for rest and recuperation, you are going to struggle here. You will lose sleep, every night. The rooms are well appointed, we had a beach front room with glass fronted balcony and it was one of the nicest places that I have ever sat down. The hotel offers room service which is a nice touch and the staff are excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are air conditioned, really good double glazing to attempt to mitigate the aircraft noise (it doesn’t). The whole hotel has WiFi and it works, properly. The showers are excellent and have plenty of hot water Rooms are serviced every day, again, done properly and thoroughly. Breakfast is a buffet situation, the usual Greek spread, something for everyone. It’s self service and coffee and orange juice are dispensed from a push button machine. Like most things on Santorini, it’s expensive. The pool bar serves food and drinks. Beer - €7.50 -0.5l Cocktail - £€15 French fries -€7 Greek salad -€14 Cheeseburger €20 Pool/Beach towels are free at reception and you can change them every day. Reception has changing rooms, toilets and showers for your last day along with secure bag storage. Some holiday companies are advertising this as an adults only hotel, it’s not. Not even close. If you want to go in the sea, get some swim/wetsuit shoes as it is very slippery and covered in stones. It’s almost impossible to access in bare feet.

La nostra camera era a breve termine, ma non aveva un'ampia ubriacona e una bevanda gratuita, quindi non ci sono lamentele.La camera era grande, perché era molto comoda come regina, tanto mia moglie quanto io non sono massiccia. Anche una mezzanina con due single e un jacuzzi sul tetto con una vista eccellente sul risalto del sole.Qui sotto c'è il secchetto dei capelli, ma se avete i capelli e guardatela, portate i vostri strumenti. La stanza ha anche un frigo, un cavo d’acqua, un cucinato e un asciugamani, cambiato ogni giorno. Il personale è più che ospitare qui e molto amichevole, così grandi urli a Anna, Chris, Donny e Bettie siete tutti grandi e speriamo che la vita vi porta ciò che meritate. Questo è un posto dove si deve visitare come non in viaggio per l'aeroporto.

Spendo una parola in particolare per Lydia,che sin da prima del nostro arrivo si è prodigata per organizzarci il pick up dall’aeroporto e ci ha fornito una serie di informazioni utili per poter programmare al meglio la nostra vacanza. È sempre stata gentilissima e disponibilissima! Fatto il check in abbiamo inoltre ricevuto un upgrade per la prima notte,soggiornando nella camera superior molto caratteristica,fronte mare. Acqua fresca sempre in frigo,colazione super abbondante e ricca. Asciugamani da spiaggia sempre pronti gratuitamente per gli ospiti,che hanno la possibilità di stare sia nella spiaggia privata (con dei lettini comodissimi) oppure in una delle due piscine (consiglio quella nel retro,che dispone di più privacy ed è circondata da meravigliosi bouganville). Raccomando questa struttura a tutti,ha un ottimo qualità-prezzo. Speriamo di ritornarci presto!

It is absolutely spotlessly clean , with a very pretty pool area and immaculately kept patio areas a great sun terrace on the roof with very comfortable sun beds. Martha and her team gave us such a warm welcome and genuinely want their guests to have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the standard of housekeeping is excellent. Martha’s homemade cakes , bread, jams , rice pudding was a fantastic way to start the day. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and there are some fantastic restaurants In Kamari. Faye gave us some excellent recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the places she suggested. Fistikies top quality food and reasonably priced Santorian wine. To Pinakio wholesome Greek food and a great atmosphere. Elias grill where the souvlaki and gyros portions are huge ! Alismari on the beach front has fantastic food , the superfood salad is amazing. The bus stop is just around the corner and it was an easy and cheap way to explore the island of Santorini. The scenery at Oia is spectacular. The costal walk from Fira through Firostefarni to Imerovigli is breathtaking. A fantastic week’s holiday, thanks to Martha and all her team at The Santellini Hotel . Lisa and Jason

Sono stata per la prima volta in assoluto a Santorini con il mio fidanzato dal 1 all’8 di luglio. Beh che dire, fin dal primo giorno abbiamo trovato del personale gentile, sorridente, disponibile ad aiutarci nelle nostre richieste. La stanza matrimoniale era molto ampia dotata di climatizzatore regolabile ( fondamentale visto il caldo) dotato di piano cottura è piccolo frigo. Il bagno spazioso con dei colori Marini ed una doccia molto ampia ( unico suggerimento forse sarebbe di mettere una piccola luce anche dentro la doccia perché la sera è buia nonostante ci sia la luce del bagno) La piscina fuori sempre pulita e pronta all’ uso. Al bar si possono trovare dei cocktail ottimi a prezzi contenuti, così come il caffè, ad un prezzo contenuto rispetto al costo medio dell’ Isola. Insomma ci siamo sentiti a casa fin da subito, grazie a Biona, Angelo e Sissi che hanno reso la nostra vacanza ancora più bella! Lo consiglio a tutti e spero di ritornarci al più presto.

We had 3 nights at this hotel. 4 ladies in one room! The beds are the only downfall, all rock hard! This did not cause up concern and we coped! I'd also like to say do not worry re aeroplanes, as I read some concern and negativity re this! it's not a problem is all I'd say! Prince restaurant is in front of the hotel and amazing! Gorgeous staff too and wow food, with a superb menu! The rooms don't match the look of the restaurant, but PLEASE don't let that put you off. You are so central here and the staff are ALL amazing and so helpful! I would return to this hotel purely as it ticks everything and hey probably did my back good to have a firm matress! You also have a fridge and all utilities, the balcony area was so cute, lovely for pre dinner drinks and to watch the world going by, It's a hotel I'd not fail to recommend and thank you so much!! You can also do the amazing walk to Ancient Thira and over the top to Perissa! It's not for the fate hearted and trainers a must, also a bottle of water! It's worth it though, just leave early so not too hot! Thank you so much team Makris Beach! We will return X

più che in un aparthotel sembra di entrare in una cartolina. situato in una posizione eccellente, a pochi passi dal mare e dal lungomare, offre delle camere circondate dal verde e dai fiori in tipico stile greco con un piacevole terrazzino esterno. pulite, attrezzate anche con un piccolo angolo cottura e principalmente silenziose. il servizio colazione sulla piscina è buono. particolarmente gentile e disponibile la proprietaria Helena e tutto il personale. perfetto equilibrio qualità prezzo.

Hotel fantastico - personale amichevole che sono felici di dare consigli su dove andare a mangiare / cosa vedere e fare. Delizioso colazione rilassata. Spazio piscina - pulito e tempestivo e non bisogna ”prenotare” un letto perché sempre un letto riservato. Ci siamo rimasti in una Junior Suite - perfetta dimensione - per rilassarsi e abbiamo avuto un balcone per godere personale fuori area. Doveva andare in precoce ma il volo era in serata. Hotel felice per noi di lasciare i bagagli in sicurezza e ha fornito doccia e asciugamani, dopo essere stati sulla spiaggia/alla piscina tutto il giorno, prima di partire per l'aeroporto di sera. Hotel è a destra sulla strada principale, ma non sono alquanto rumorosi di notte.

Mi è piaciuto questo accogliente hotel, che si trova a 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e la principale striscia di ristoranti e boutique vicino alla spiaggia. Ogni mattina, in una bella sala da pranzo, è stata offerta una scelta di uova cotte, tagli frigoriferi, formaggi, pomodori, cucchiaini, olive, frutta, cereali, yogurt, miele, caffè, tè e torte. Il mio hotel è stato molto apprezzato per la ricezione e le visite sono disponibili per essere prenotate direttamente sul desk front. La fermata dell'autobus è vicino, ma sono così felice di noleggiare un'auto per poter vedere altre parti belle dell'isola a mio tempo libero, perché le distanze sono molto lontane da voi la città del resort.
