I chose this location because it was a Hilton and it was located near primarily the airport as well as other locations to dine and shop. Upon arrival Melissa at the front desk was very pleasant and professional. We had arrived early rooms were not immediately ready. Melissa volunteered to keep our luggage as she checked with Kim in Housekeeping to determine if any rooms were available that suited our requested needs for check-in. Not sure if this is a fair complaint as I did not report the problem until after checking out. The drain of the bathroom sink did not function very well. While washing your hands, face or brushing your teeth, the water in the basin backed up and created a pool of waste water from the hygienic activity being conducted. Ugh! The bathtub drain worked fine. For me, this begs the question, if the basin is being washed between guests, shouldn't the person cleaning the bathroom notice this problem and report it to the Maintenance team? Apparently there is a lack of communication within the departments that would have prevented this disgusting experience for the guests. I reported the problem via phone to Kayla, the professional and congenial overnight Front Desk person, shortly after checking out. All the team members we encountered were professional, friendly and helpful! Melissa at check-in took our needs into consideration, spoke with Kim in Housekeeping who confirmed that a room suited to our reservation request was available. Both ladies were very happy to be able to accommodate us! We had just returned from a cruise at the San Francisco pier and had a day layover prior to flying out from Oakland Airport. We did not have a car so we needed the Complimentary Shuttle Service to transport us to a few places as well as the airport for an early morning departure. The primary Shuttle Driver is Bernie. Bernie was professional, kind, and a wealth of information about things to do and places to go in the area of the Oakland/San Leandro Hilton. Bernie is a safe driver and an outstanding Ambassador for Hilton! Thank you very much Bernie! Melissa as well as the other Front Desk staff informed us that the Complimentary Shuttle hours are limited, but they would contact and pay for a Lyft or an Uber vehicle to get us to the airport for our early morning departure. Awesome! Worked like a charm and we left the hotel at 4:00AM for our 6:00AM flight. The Team members who staffed the Front Desk in the evenings were outstanding as well. Melissa had provided us with some information about dining options when the restaurant in the Hilton was closed, as well as did the wonderful Front Desk evening team. Sono rimasto qui poche volte e non ho mai avuto problemi con la TBH. Il Front Desk è benvenuto e molto utile. Non ricordo il nome delle ragazze, ma è giovane e molto carina, comunque, era molto paziente con me dopo avermi controllato fuori e mi ha controllato subito. L'hotel ha preso un paio di soldi per ritrovare il mio conto, ma era disposta a lavorare qualcosa per me.Una cosa che vorrei che questo hotel avesse avuto è un po' di salsa di bacon e uova per il loro colazione mattina.
