San Juan: hotel con bar

Uno dei motivi per cui abbiamo prenotato il vostro hotel è che abbiamo chiamato il servizio clienti e ci hanno detto che potreste tenere il nostro bagaglio per più di un giorno. Abbiamo quattro valigie da 28 pollici e dobbiamo trovare un altro posto per tenerle, anche se abbiamo ancora una prenotazione dopo due giorni.

Il personale era più che utile, dal secondo che andavamo a Lewis, immediatamente ci salutava con bevande (bar aperto libero) e ci dava buoni consigli su come iniziare le nostre vacanze. Sono certa che rimarrò qui quando ritornerò.

Durante il soggiorno al Double Tree By Hilton San Juan, io e mio marito abbiamo avuto la migliore esperienza di sempre. Non so perché qualcuno non sarebbe mai d'accordo. Il personale era cordiale, l'intera area era pulita e accogliente per il COVID, e c'era persino acqua e trasporto gratuiti giornalieri per la spiaggia che si trova a pochi passi dall'hotel. L'hotel offre anche teli mare, sdraio e ombrellone! mi sono divertito un mondo!

DO NOT STAY HERE. This massive resort feels tired and worn but that is the least of the problems. The pool was completely unusable. It was FREEZING. You cannot get in it at all, it was as though they pumped in frigid water every night. On some extremely hot days during one of the busiest times of year, absolutely no one was in the pool. Everyone was complaining about it and my daughter was heartbroken because it was what she looked forward to the most and after maybe 5 minutes her lips were purple and she had to get out. Then, there was the ”free” breakfast. It is only free if you are willing to wait on a line that is a mile long. People waited for almost an hour just to receive their promised free breakfast. We chose not to. The manager kindly gave us a credit after I complained but turned out that credit could only be applied to other resort restaurants that arent even open for breakfast! (in all fairness, after I complained about that as well, they applied the credit elsewhere). One of the elevators in our wing wasnt working- there was lines just to get on the elevator, nor was the ice machine or vending machine working. Despite the size of the resort, they didnt have the staff or resources to serve all of the guests- It was impossible to get a beach or pool chair, there was a long wait for room and pool service (I waited an hour for ceviche which isnt even cooked), and on our last day they suddenly implemented a bag search policy which resulted in a line just to get to the pool/beach area. And just to add insult to injury- I was charged $30 for a bottle of sunblock Some good things about it: - Very close to Old San Juan - Staff was friendly, despite their inability to properly serve guests Photo: Completely empty pool because who could swim in freezing water?

È stato un ottimo hotel. Il personale del desk front was extremely helpfula special thanks to Alejandra and also to a young guy (as I wish I would remember his name) at the concierge desk- who made my trip memorable by guided me to do some fun things on this short trip.

Questo è il mio secondo soggiorno a El Convento e era anche meglio del primo (che è molto di più perché il primo era grande.) Amo questo hotel. Si trova direttamente intorno alla strada dalla Catedral, a pochi passi da tutti i negozi, e vicino a alcuni grandi ristoranti. (La Caleta, che è direttamente intorno alla Plaza Doña Fela su Caleta de San Juan, ha il miglior toast francese che abbia mai avuto!). Il personale è molto amichevole, conosciuto e sempre felice di dare le sue direzioni e consigli. (Un grido speciale a Candysbeth e Giancarlo. Erano i miei andamenti alle persone ogni volta che avevo una domanda su qualcosa.) Le camere sono confortevoli e confortevoli. Ogni camera ha un mini frigo, un caffè e tutte le altre necessità. (La mia stanza aveva un tavolo di ferro e un ferro. Avrei preferito un vaporizzatore. Non ho mai controllato se c'era un altro posto sul desk.) We found ourselves here during our trip after our original hotel canceled our reservation, and it turned out to be a real blessing in disguise! Right from the moment we arrived, the lovely young woman at the front desk made us feel right at home with her warm welcome. Checking in was a breeze, and we were thrilled to find our room on the third floor, complete with a charming balcony. The rooftop area, featuring a small pool, was such a refreshing spot to cool down on those hot, sunny days! Looking back, I’m actually glad I didn’t read the reviews before our visit because we enjoyed clean rooms and saw that our room was tidied up daily. Plus, the location couldn’t be better! It’s within walking distance to so many attractions in beautiful old San Juan, making it super convenient for exploring.

Liked - The roof terrace was great, we enjoyed it and saw the new year fireworks. The room service was great and came daily to clean, in this time you appreciate it. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator & microwave. You have only aboput 15 minutes walk to the beaches like Playita del Condado or Balneario del Escambrón. There are some restaraunts in the area and a good supermarket Pueblo. The hotel has not enough parking spaces, but you'd definitely find a place on the street nearby. The Miramar neighborhood was quiet. Disliked · As we entered the room we liked the room and couldn't complain. On the next day we started to realise that the carpet floor was copletely wet, as a reason all of our personal belongings and bed sheets were extremely humid. We asked the reception to solve it, they came and sproaded some powder on the floor, which didn't help. We think it has to do with condensation, as the rooms are being cooled constantly and the weather outside is warm. No teapot in the room, but a champangere yes. Dirty windows. The closet is in the bathroom, so you can just imagine what your clothes are getting if someone takes a shower etc. We had a view on the senior residence and directly to the neighbor window in that one grandmother laid on the verge, pretty hard and painful. You couldn't open the windows for an air circulation, which was needed because of the wet floor etc. Sometimes we had no hot water in the shower, sure after ca. 10 pm. Stupid sockets in the room and the bathroom. Slow wi-fi. The 100$ deposit was returned after a week.

Se parcheggiate, cercate il personale manualmente ogni volta che avete bisogno di prendere il biglietto di parcheggio all'ingresso per caricare il numero e il nome della stanza nel sistema, e poi potete uscire dall'altra stazione di parcheggio. Sembra che tutti i servizi siano flussi sulla superficie, registrarsi e parcheggiare potrebbero essere più scivolosi. I requisiti della stanza non dovrebbero essere ignorati. La porta del camion dovrebbe essere data in tempo.
