Hotel vicini a Qasr al-Hosn a Salalah

In Italiano Seconda volta in Oman (la prima volta eravamo stati a Muscat). Siamo stati, mia moglie ed io, a Salalah (OMAN) dal 26 Febbraio 2024 (eravamo partiti dall'aeroporto di Milano Malpensa il 25) al 4 Marzo 2024 all'Hotel Millennium alla camera numero 2216 in all inclusive con il tour operator Eden (gruppo Alpitour). Visto che si poteva scegliere, abbiamo scelto Qatar Airways piuttosto che Neos (volo diretto) perchè l'aereo (già da noi provato lo scorso anno durante in nostro soggiorno a Doha -vedi nostra recensione-) è decisamente più comodo (anche se con scalo a Doha). Siamo stati bene. Ristorante pulito e camera grande e con due bagni ben pulita da Ujjal. Addetti alla reception gentili. Cibo internazionale con anche pizza fatta al momento durante la cena; dolci un po' ripetitivi. C'era un navetta che faceva la spola tra Hotel e la propria spiaggia privata. L'acqua dell'Oceano Indiano era calda e si poteva entrare in mare senza tremare e senza avere freddo. Internet funzionava sia in Hotel sia in spiaggia (era solo difficile telefonare con wi-fi). Unica pecca l'assistenza in loco che non abbiamo mai avuto in Hotel (ma solo con WattsUp, tramite Elisa): si era presentato solo il venditore di escursioni il primo giorno mentre noi eravamo ancora storditi dal lungo viaggio. Clima ottimo (30 gradi Celsius di temperatura): torneremo senza alcun dubbio In English Second time in Oman (the first time we were in Muscat). We stayed, my wife and I, in Salalah (OMAN) from February 26th 2024 (we left from Milan Malpensa airport on the 25th) to March 4th 2024 at the Hotel Millennium in room number 2216 in all inclusive with the Eden tour operator (Alpitour group). Since we had a choice, we chose Qatar Airways rather than Neos (direct flight) because the plane (already tried by us last year during our stay in Doha -see our review-) is decidedly more comfortable (even if with a stopover in Doha). We had a good time. Clean restaurant and large room with two bathrooms well cleaned from Ujjal. Friendly receptionists. International food with also freshly made pizza during dinner; desserts a little repetitive. There was a shuttle that ran between the hotel and its private beach. The water of the Indian Ocean was warm and you could enter the sea without shivering or feeling cold. Internet worked both in the hotel and on the beach (it was just difficult to make calls with wi-fi). The only flaw was the on-site assistance which we never had in the hotel (but only with WattsUp, through Elisa): only the excursion seller showed up on the first day while we were still stunned from the long journey. Excellent climate (30 degrees Celsius temperature): we will return without any doubt

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo stupendo resort per 4 notti ed è stata una esperienza bellissima… Pur non essendo sul mare, costituisce un’ ottima base per esplorare le magnifiche spiagge di Salalah. Il vero punto di forza di questo resort è il personale: tutti gentilissimi e pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione e non ci siamo pentiti, anche il cibo è delizioso. Grazie ancora Belad Bont, continuate cosi!

Excellent accueil et personnel attentif. Hôtel de qualité avec un service soigné. Grande chambre carrelée, très propre, coin salon et beau balcon. Ménage quotidien. Rien à redire si ce n est la salle de bain, vite ”inondée” après une douche. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est bien garni : plats locaux, fromage, fruits, gauffres, etc. Une très grande salle de jeux pour les enfants, comme rarement vue. Une très bonne adresse abordable juste en face du grand mall de Salalah (22 OMR début octobre). C est notre 6ème visite dans la région et notre meilleur hôtel.

I booked the Junior Suite and absolutely loved the room! The hotel is located right on Dahariz Beach and being able to watch the sunrises and sunsets on the Arabian Gulf on a quiet beach amplifies the enjoyment of the hotel (watching the full moon rise over the Arabian Gulf, feeling safe while walking the beach at night and being able to watch the sun rise and moon set is evocatively beautiful and forever has etched Salalah in my travel memories). The section of Salalah the hotel is located in is relatively quiet (the locals tend to come out after the heat of the day has abated and are wonderfully polite) The staff of Dolphin restaurant is so kind and the prices for food (which can be pricey in hotels) is beyond reasonable and delicious. The hotel staff with their legendary Omani hospitality makes Beach Resort Salalah a hotel with heart and a paradise on earth!

Abbiamo trascorso bellissima vacanza a Fanar a Salalah in Oman . Villaggio molto bello e comodo , con il mare meraviglioso. Le sue tre spiagge sono perfette per trascorrere belle giornate di relax . Le stanze pulite e molto comode . Cibo nel ristoranti ottimo . Animazione: Aurora , Vittoria , Christian, Filippo, Sebastiano e Jacopo a dir poco fantastici . Grazie di cuore per le vostre attenzioni e la vostra gentilezza , spero di rincontrarci in altre strutture. In poche parole vacanza da rifare . Grazie .

Molto sotto le aspettative. Cominciando dal check-in, assistiti da Michele, che non ha soddisfatto la nostra richiesta di cambio camera, visto che avevamo prenotato una deluxe vista mare, ma siamo sistemati in una bella camera, ma vista piscina. Il mare si intravedeva lateralmente e veramente molto lontano. Siamo stati liquidati con la motivazione, che per Alpitour la vista mare è quella. Peccato che abbiamo pagato un extra. La spiaggia è si molto lunga e di sabbia, ma il mare non è per nulla trasparente e le attività in mare, assolutamente sconsigliate. Abbiamo provato a fare un'escursione esterna, che prevedeva avvistamento delfini e snorkelling, ma il risultato è stato che non solo non si vedevano i delfini, ma in immersione in apnea, non vedevo neanche le mie mani. Non era prevista neanche la scaletta per risalire sulla barca. la gita andata e ritorno ”avvistamento delfini” e snorkelling è durata tre ore pr un costo assurdo. La notte nel deserto invece è da fare (unica escursione consigliata), grazie anche alla guida Alladin, che ha saputo creare aspettative che sono state soddisfatte. NON partecipate alla cena omanita. Cibo esposto all'aria, tanto è che mia moglie è stata veramente male, non si è goduta gli ultimi tre giorni e al rientro ancora molti problemi. I servizi del ristorante invece sono molto buoni (il cuoco è sardo, così come il capo pasticcere) e curata la pulizia. Ottima la spa e da provare il massaggio thailandese. Un plauso particolare allo staff di animazione. Coinvolgenti ed affiatati, mai invadenti. Insomma ragazzi che ci hanno fatto divertir, perchè essi stessi si divertivano. In conclusione se volete scegliere una meta per le vostre vacanze che preveda un mare bello e cristallino, non andate in Oman.

Come nei precedenti anni abbiamo trascorso , insieme ai cari amici, un periodo veramente sereno e tranquillo al Resort Hilton. Un grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff, diretto con alta capacità e professionalità dal G.M Ahmed Massoud , dal personale della Desk a quello addetto alla spiaggia. In particolare ringraziamento ad Imelda, Karen e Rea per la loro gentilezza nel soddisfare le nostre esigenze . Sempre piacevole cenare a bordo piscina per la particolare atmosfera creata dal gioco delle luci . Stanze molto spaziose e super pulite .
