Hotel a Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu, Francia

For the price this was a disappointing stay. First, the water coming from the sink faucet was sputtering (as when there is air in the lines) a lot and the water coming out was yellow-brown. I even filled a cup to take it down to the reception desk to show him. Receptionist was nice enough but no real explanation. After letting the water run for about 5 minutes or more, it improved. Second, the hallway and room on our floor (2nd floor) was VERY warm and the air conditioning was not cooling it down (fan blowing but no cool air). I mentioned this also to the front desk and was told that I was not the first guest to mention it and there was apparently a technical issue that was not resolved. He suggested opening the window but it was warm and humid and the last thing we wanted were mosquitoes! I spent an hour sitting in the stairwell where it was much cooler and neither of us slept much at all. Third, we had a very early flight out which is why we booked this hotel in the first place, but were informed upon checking in that the airport shuttle began only at 6:30 AM. That was a good half hour after we needed to be there. This seems odd to me to advertise having a shuttle, knowing full well many people book airport hotels because of early (or late) flights and not have transportation available. We had a thunderstorm during the early morning - thankfully it stopped just in time for us to walk the 10 min to the airport. Not a big deal but if it had been raining or if we had had much more luggage it would have been a very big inconvenience we did not anticipate. We have had better stays at airport hotels for less money.

Ho avuto un accoglienza molto buona, gentile, niente da dire, molto bene. Ho potuto avere una camera al primo piano piuttosto che al secondo piano. È possibile mangiare in loco e avere una bevanda calda tardi al distributore di bevande. negozi ”leclercs” a 5 min e un ristorante supplementare cinese a pieno carico Il letto è grande e pulito, ma il muro davanti al letto aveva tracce marroni che ho pulito e segnalato al mio partenza perché ha altri sulla porta della sala d’acqua. Un colpo di spugna non sarebbe stato del lusso prima della mia installazione. Se la camera non è tranquilla, senza aria condizionata o altro utensile (campione), il radiatore esiste per l’inverno deve andare. Ma bene è una prima classe. Purtroppo non ho avuto il riflesso delle foto prima della mia pulizia.

Excellent surprise for this hotel conveniently located between Nantes city center and on the way to the airport if catching a plane. I booked a one-night stay (04th - 05th December 2021) also based on the positive reviews read on Google and ***********. My stay in room 304 was extremely pleasant as the room is perfectly located on the courtyard, providing a quiet surrounding. The room itself is big and I was particularly impressed by its cleanliness. Furthermore, check in and check out at reception was very smooth and handled professionally. Talking to the reception team, it is obvious they genuinely like their job in the hospitality business. Their commitment, all the more resounding in this time of uncertainty, is pleasant and warm to witness. Next time in Nantes, I have found my preferred hotel :-)

Per la prima volta in un hotel campanile. Camera molto piacevole e pulita, letti confortevoli, TV apprezzabile dopo un lungo giorno. Solo un piccolo bemol, piccole tracce nei confini della camera da bagno. Altrimenti niente da ridire, un servizio d’accoglienza molto corto e amabile.

Punti positivi: personale simpatico, camera nella RDC sul lato ombrato che ha consentito di non soffrire troppo del calore in assenza di clima, pulizia visibile. Punti negativi: il cibo del ristorante limite: crocodilo-Signore mancato (è possibile) crameato e a pezzi caldi con un maschero un po 'frescato a 15€, è costoso. La camera ha ospitato un cane sicuro prima e con il calore, l'odore mi è venuto nel naso per tutta la notte, mentre non sentivano nulla entrando nella camera... (Forse il cottage) o il moquette tra le 2 letti

What a lovely hotel. Good English spoken. Friendly welcome from very polite staff. High quality food served at the restaurant on Friday night. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Ideally placed for Nantes Airport. Thoroughly recommended.
