Hotel vicini a Ialysos beach a Rodi

Struttura con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, adatta a bambini, ragazzi e adulti in quanto fornita di piscina grande e piccola, giardinetti, palestra, campo da beach volley, bar e altro. La camera era semplice ma funzionale e pulita. I pasti erano a buffet, principalmente con piatti italiani e greci. Non concordo con le recensioni che lamentano cibo ripetitivo, perché erano disponibili a pranzo e cena due diversi tipi di pasta (buonissima e saltata in padella sul momento) e un secondo alla griglia. Sia pasta che cibo grigliato variavano sempre. In più c'erano insalate, contorni caldi, riso, pesce, pietanze tipiche greche a buffet, anch'esse in gran parte diverse di giorno in giorno. Personale gentilissimo, come la signora Elini e Lara. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato che il personale sia venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze (check out tardivo e avere una chiave in più per la stanza). Torneremo sicuramente!

Hotel veramente deludente. Inizio col dire che in sè la struttura è bella molto grande. Se cercate una vacanza rilassante magari in Coppia andate da in altra parte. Il check-in è disponibile dalle 15.00 e non prima, camera molto bella noi eravamo al settimo piano, ma camere a piani inferiori molto datate e vecchie. La pulizia della camera durante il soggiorno è INESISTENTE. Rifanno solo il letto ma il pavimento non è mai stato pulito in 10 giorni e nemmeno il bagno. Il vero problema del hotel è il cibo. Avevamo il pacchetto all inclusive ma abbiamo mangiato solo i primi 4 giorni dopo aver passato un intera giornata a vomitare….. la scelta di cibo ad ogni pasto è ampissima ma il cibo è di qualità PESSIMA…. Mai mangiato così male da nessuna parte. Non sono una persona schizzinosa ma dopo essere stata così male non ho più voluto toccare cibo del hotel ( ho pagato un all inclusive per niente ) Tutte le bevande sono annacquate e liofilizzate…. Escono da una macchinetta, persino a colazione il caffè non è caffè ma sembra acqua sporca. La Coca Cola è acqua e zucchero. Una delle regole del hotel sarebbe inoltre di non occupare lettini in piscina lasciando li la propria roba altrimenti verrà rimossa e noi abbiamo rispettato questa regola…. Peccato che o vai di mattina presto e prendi il posto oppure tutti lasciano l’ asciugamano sopra il lettino e se ne vanno e ti rimani senza posto con metà lettini senza nessuno sopra ma non usufruibili. Abbiamo chiesto e hanno detto che non ci possono fare nulla. Hotel rumorosissimo, bambini che piangono in continuazione a pranzo, cena e colazione flotte di persone che entrano in sala. Una sera per mangiare abbiamo fatto mezz’ora di fila…. Ma scherziamo in un hotel a 5 stelle con all inclusive?! Piatti e stoviglie sporche , persone che si spintonano per prendere il cibo al buffet , piscina stra piena. E gli ascensori? A volte file di 20 minuti perché vanno solo due ascensori su tre ….. capisco tutto ma sono 17 piani di hotel. Veramente veramente deludente. Per un taxi potete prenotare alla reception peccato che il taxi non arrivi mai e voi li fuori ad aspettare. Un ultima cosa… la mattina del checkout( entro le ore 12.00) mentre dormivamo con fuori il cartello non disturbare, entra una signora alle 9.30 svegliandomi per chiedere a che ora uscivamo….. MAI PIÙ …. volete una vacanza di lusso e tranquillità ? State lontani

The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

Mi chiedo quali camere sono state mostrate per ottenere 4 stelle. Basato sul modo in cui la nostra camera sembrava e il colazione, non può ottenere più di 2,5 stelle. Pros: grande posizione, personale amichevole (ma immagino in questa linea di amicizia aziendale è necessario). La colazione è stata fatta in un posto di acqua, ma non è stata una colazione con tante scelte, ma è comestibile. Cons: la stanza aveva un intero muro che si chiudere a causa di problemi di acqua in passato. Non c'è alcuna prova di suono, la porta della stanza aveva un raffreddore di 2 cm tra il pavimento e la porta, quindi abbiamo sentito tutto e tutti nella sala. Non solo che gli ospiti non rispettano il segno di silenzio, ma anche le signore pulite (camera di pulizia sopra le nostre alle 6:30, mobili mobili). Il bagno era tutto in uno, un piccolo spazio che, quando abbiamo fatto la doccia, andava tutto intorno, anche bagnando la carta igienica. E dopo la doccia, è impossibile usare il bagno fino alla mattina successiva, perché il pavimento è inondato e abbiamo dovuto andare al bagno di lobby. Il bacino è spostato vicino al cattivo, che non è un problema per me, ma la guancia è rotta, in modo che non si possa chiudere. Per il prezzo che hanno non vale certo la pena.

My wife and I stayed for a week mid July at the Alila Hotel. This was our 4th holiday at Alila but the first without our children or friends. We had an initial problem with the AC in our room, as soon as we mentioned it was addressed immediately. We did end up changing rooms on the second day as the 40c heatwave made the room difficult to sleep. From that point on the holiday has been exceptional on every count. Evi who manages the restaurants is amazing. She made every meal extra special and all her team do an amazing job serving fantastic food with great skill with sometimes very difficult customers. Magda and Nichole in the Champagne bar are probably now much closer friends and create a fun atmosphere that just makes you want to come back again and again. The restaurants overall have stepped up their quality and are trying to allow more people to access the theme restaurants. The main bar is a bit of a scramble for chairs to watch the entertainment but the waiters do all they can to seat you and keep the drinks flowing. Calypso is amazing and makes you laugh and again makes you feel so welcome and enjoy your evening. Last but not least Spiros who works the beach ensuring that everyone is well hydrated. He never fails to bring a laugh and makes the heat seem to be just another day on the beach. We will definitely be back to see the fantastic people and use the 5* facilities. We truly felt special and got the VIP treatment.
