Hotel in zona toom Baumarkt Regensburg-Reinhausen, Ratisbona

We are checking out this morning and while ready to get home following being 3 weeks away, we have enjoyed our time in Regensburg (unplanned stop for two nights!) and the Hotel made our stay even more enjoyable! Helpful and friendly staff at check-in and throughout our stay. We also dined in the Hotel Restaurant last evening and it was possibly the best meal we've had on the trip! Doesn't feel like a ”hotel restaurant” and was visible that many local people were enjoying their Saturday evening there too! The room was clean, well furnished and the bed comfy! I did see some of the other properties i was blindly looking into and was blessed to have landed on this ACHAT Property. Also, super walking convenient to Old Town/Shopping/Bridge, etc...!

L'hotel è stato facile da trovare dall'autostrada e c'è stato un sacco di parcheggio. L'impressione immediata dell'ingresso è stato favorevole, immaginario e contemporaneo, lobby spazioso e il ricevitore è stato amichevole ed efficiente. La camera da letto era grande e arria con vista sul canale, il fiume e la cattedrale. Un bellissimo bagno. Ci sono stati chiesti piatti aggiuntivi, che non erano forniti con nessun problema - letto confortevole. Cocktail nel bar molto buono e ragionevolmente prezzi. Il cibo è molto buono e è stato possibile mangiare un ristorante nel bar - menu molto più di burger e chips anche. Durante il pranzo abbiamo visto entrambi i bar di lavoro e i bar di crociera passare fuori. Bella atmosfera rilassata e amichevole nel bar /restaurant. Il buon colazione, che è stata una piacevole sorpresa, ha avuto molte scelte, tra cui salmone fumato e uova scrambled e non solo cibo carbo. Sarebbe stato un piacere restare qui di nuovo, era davvero deluso che ci fosse stato solo per una notte.

L'hotel è molto bello. Si entra in uno stabile moderno, al piano terra non c'è nulla, si prende lo scalone o l'ascensore ed al primo piano c'èa reception. La camera è piccola ma ben disegnata e molto moderna. Bagno con doccia molto grande e funzionale. Si entra in camera con tessera. A 10 minuti a piedi dal bel centro storico della città. Parcheggio molto grande sotterraneo a 15 euro a notte. Tutto molto bene, tranne la colazione, piuttosto modesta e con pochissima scelta. Per 149 euro mi aspettavo una colazione ben migliore.

Abbiamo dovuto fermarci in città a causa di complicate viaggi inavvertite e abbiamo trovato questa gemma da google dopo mezzanotte. Il valore che abbiamo ottenuto era sorprendentemente alto, l'hotel era grande e così è stato il colazione, ho dormito male per motivi personali, ma la mia ragazza ha dormito bene.

We booked our 1 night stay for Christmas 2023, a few days earlier. It took 3 times to confirm the reservation online since their webpage was crashing. We chose an option to pay upon arrival and were charged only €0.01 reservation fee. A day before our arrival we received an email stating that our card couldn't be charged for the full amount and that we have until noon to send the correct card details or we will lose our booking. After explaining that we were given and chose the option to pay upon arrival, they said it's okay then. We received 2 emails about the reception working hours on Christmas, first that it's until 17h, then until 15h. As we arrived later, we needed to self check-in and pay at the machine, which went fine. However, the room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guest (the bed was not made, the dirty towels were on the floor). The on-call staff member immediately gave us another room. The room was very small and basic but clean (the 2nd one). The bed was quite small (French bed) but comfortable. The room was extremely basic equipped, not even a cup for the tooth brushes or a trash bin in the room itself. No closet, just a few open hangers. But the worst part was that there were strange sounds during the night in the room/building, like banging in the pipes or something. We didn't have any appliances on (e.g. AC/heating, light) so we don't know what these sounds were but they were very disturbing, keeping us up the whole night. The next morning we heard another guest complaining about it as well. The breakfast was good, a variety of bread, sausages and cheese, 3 types of jams, a chocolate spread, boiled eggs, 2 types of juice, coffee and cocoa from the machine, tea, sweet pastry, yoghurt, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, although only the boiled egg was a warm option. The staff was friendly. The location is great, close to the highway, the bus stop is in front which takes you to the old town in 20 min, buses on Christmas went every 20 min until 20h (and until 22h from the city back to the hotel stop). The daily ticket for 1 person was €3. However, not much to do in the city on Christmas, even the Christmas market was closed. Overall we were satisfied for the 1 night passing by, but wouldn't book it for longer given the bad organisation with the cleaning of the rooms, the weird sounds in the building construction, as well as extremely basic rooms.

Wat wij misten, geen badjassen(voor suite?) en keukentje met 2 pitten maar geen pan of iets dergelijks en geheel geen bestek. Beetje jammer voor een ruime fijne suite. Geen extra kussens, Nederlanders slapen niet graag op deze slappe dingen. Verder waren er veel zaken op het diner menu niet te verkrijgen, jammer.

Upon arrival we were first being told the rooms weren’t ready yet, it was little after 1pm and they have a 3 pm checkin policy. However, another collegaue was helpful to offer us rooms which have been cleaned already. The rooms were clean and the beds good, but the airconditioning didn’t work properly on both rooms. Unfortunately the WIFI was even worse, very bad connectoon or no connection at all . It couldn’t be fixed the same day which was very disappointing.
