It was a good experience, mashej ghat is a spectacular place. This hotel is located in a lovely place if you want to enjoy the view of foggy mountains as well as lake. The only thing about this place is you will not get anything in the indoor game zone. All these games are in bad condition. So if you want to just chill in the hotel swimming pool is the only option you could do. And the rooms need a little renovation. My door wasn’t getting shut properly. Had to push it hard. The walls are moist. Bathroom was little broken. It only bothers because the amount we pay doesn’t justify all these. Their staff is very friendly and happy to help you.

It takes a lot of patience to stay here. Front desk did bare minimum to help on several occasions and only sometimes with a smile. Room service & housekeeping seem very new or poorly trained. H/K only supply 2 bath towels when servicing and I had to request a floor mat and hand towel every day which seemed very odd and two days I was given a face cloth to use as a hand towel. Room is shabby in places but that is reflected in the price. The only shining exception to this less than ideal hotel is the serving staff in the Mosaic restaurant. They were consistently attentive and courteous. Sadly, not enough to make me want to stay here again if there is another choice in the same price range.

Beautiful hotel with global-scale decor and international gentry. 7 kitchens for breakfast made for an interesting spread and the Jain food was quite delicious. Shockingly undertrained and ignorant staff. A couple of examples follow: 1. Throughout my visit, I asked for an ice pack SIX times as I was recovering from an injury. They could not provide one even once. When I gave my own to simply freeze, they returned it in liquid form the next morning! Isn't an ice pack basic first aid? 2. We informed the reception to put our room on DND while I napped one evening. The housekeeping staff constantly rang the bell until I opened the door as they wanted to do the evening turndown service. Does the staff not communicate?? 3. We waited for about 20-30 minutes at breakfast to find someone to take our order. 4. Honestly, we couldn't get enough rest because of overzealous staff that kept ringing the bell even early in the morning for silly things that we didn't need. 5. Most staff members don't greet the guests or even bother giving way, which is quite unexpected from a five-star property. While leaving, the duty manager finally made her presence felt and offered us a discount voucher. We appreciate that but had an underwhelming experience overall. I couldn't help feeling like this Ritz Carlton is being used as a training centre for other hotels in this chain! Otherwise I simply cannot justify the popularity considering this the level of service.

The hotel staff is very courteous and make you feel at home. The room is very comfortable and worth the stay. I would like to recommend this hotel to all others as the staff hospitality is very amazing. I would like to specially acknowledge the efforts of Mr Ankit Gowarkar and Mr Madan Bansode who have gone out of way to make guest comfortable and memorable. Great team and delivery their best.
