"Hotel ubicado en la calle peatonal Santa Catarina, no tiene garaje pero te dan un descuento para uno próximo que sale a 10€ cada 24 horas. Tiene decoración art deco reformado y pintado. La habitación era pequeñita pero confortable. Todo lo del mini bar y cafetera es de pago, no había agua de cortesía ni nada. El desayuno muy bueno para estar incluido . Nos guardaron el equipaje y en recepción fueron muy atentos."

"We had one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stay during this trip. Eurostars Porto Douro is strategically located along the river, and has a scenic view of the iconic Luis I bridge. We booked the room with balcony view and it was beautiful. Staff were friendly and the room was cozy and comfortable. Like the little notes that the hotel placed in and outside of the room to ensure room is cleaned and all ready for us. Check-in process was fuss-free too. Thank you Eurostars Porto!"

"Siamo arrivati prima per un controllo, e si', tutto in una regola sul tempo di controllo, ma era in realtà una linea di persone che cercavano di fare lo stesso, e l'hotel non era guardato completamente prenotato. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po', e una volta che hanno iniziato a controllare, è stato necessario, naturalmente, perché c'erano molte persone. Le camere sono pulite, le cose sono molto utili, ci hanno aiutato a scoprire il sistema fantastico di aria condizionata - che era davvero molto freddo.Quindi in generale, tranne che per il check-in e la linea di check-in, tutto è andato molto bene."

"La camera è pulita e la posizione è buona. È a pochi chilometri dal centro della città lungo il fiume. È molto economico prendere un taxi (Bolt) e puoi raggiungere San Bento in meno di 5 euro centri commerciali, grandi supermercati e punti ristoro accanto, con un'ampia varietà di cibo . Tuttavia, ho prenotato una camera per tre persone tramite questa piattaforma. Quando sono arrivato, il contatore mi ha detto che avevo prenotato solo una camera per due persone e ha chiesto un risarcimento per la differenza di prezzo. Alla fine, dopo diversi giri di comunicazione, il la soluzione è stata risolta. Spero che la comunicazione tra la piattaforma e l'hotel possa essere migliorata."

Le camere sono sul lato piccolo in Portogallo, ma questo hotel è di alta qualità e estremamente pulito. La sauna, la stanza a vapore, e sono piscina sono incredibilmente bella. Grande posizione. UUtente ospiteNo words.... Has been a trip INSIDE a subway construction area .... And I am not kidding unfortunately. I have reserved a single room kind bed. At beginning the reception assigned me one room at 4th floor exactly in front of jackhammer operators, which made the same noises as in war scenario with 2 beds.
Then after my immediate big complain reception have assigned me another room, #209. Different scenario : that was in front of a concrete grinding crane arrives from 8pm in the morning until 10pm in the evening. at 7am the noises of the vehicles began with the relative movement alarm and in the evening after 10pm the workers who hammer gradually finished at 1am in the night. all i have timed videos to prove my experience. I asked several times to assign me a room ON OTHER SIDE (that are outside the ”war operation area”) but answer was always _ ”SORRY SIR, THE ROOM ON BACKSIDE ARE FULL AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE” .
Today at check out I have asked a discount, as feedback the receptionist charged me 20EUR more for 2 peer juices I have got from minibar......
I do not know how to describe this experience, I have been many times in Intercontinental and I have been always satisfied.... BESIDE THIS LAST TRIP THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO FORGET

UUtente ospiteLast year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment.
Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately.
The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied.
The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too.
Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out.
The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

JJames in ShanghaiWe checked in, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great touch that the staff member offered to show us a map of Porto and the key things he would recommend doing in the city.
I can’t stress enough just what an excellent location this hotel is in, no public transport is required. All the key sights are within a short walking distance. It is also very walkable from the train station.
The room was great, with adequate lighting, a huge TV and some excellent shower products. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable.
We enjoyed breakfast for the 3 nights. There had been a miscommunication about the price of this, however, the hotel manager was very helpful in rectifying this via email communication after the stay.
The young female staff member we engaged with for breakfast each morning was also very friendly, warm yet professional.
As IHG Platinum members we decided to try this Hilton property and were not disappointed. It was excellent from start to finish and the prompt reply and rectification from the hotel manager is testament to the care, detail and excellent management of this property. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto.

UUtente ospiteOur family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

WWilliam Theodore MoningkaGood: Hostel location is great, very near to the Bolhao metro station, Bolhao market and St Catarina shopping street. Bed is enclosed with curtain, good privacy, feels more like a capsule hotel. There's a balcony viewing the garden with drying rack to hang wet towels. There's a garden, living room and proper kitchen which is great if you are staying with friends and/or want to hang out with other travelers especially in the summer.
Can be improved: Shower cubicles are very small and no separation for dry area. Barely any space to hang your clothes & towels and everything will be wet by the end of shower if you are not careful. Toilet cubicles are also very small with many missing proper buttons to flush. Generally the cubicle locks don't feel secure and you can see gaps between the door, so may be uncomfortable especially for women since it's a mixed bathroom.
Storage is located inside the bed cubicle. Rather small and you need to bring your own lock. Power plug is located at the foot side of the bed, so difficult to lay down and charge unless you have a long cable.

RRomstarJust far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport.
We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!!
The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it.
Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room.
I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend

BbyungwooIl primo motivo principale per restare in questo hotel è stato vedere il ponte Luis direttamente.
Super vicino al fiume a 50 passi dall'hotel e facile da vedere al ponte.
Ma la stanza dell'hotel aveva due grandi difetti.
Il primo è stato il sistema di drenaggio nella vasca da bagno, che non funzionava bene.Quando ho fatto la doccia, l'acqua non scorreva bene e era
sulla sovrafluenza e l'inondazione sul duo.
La seconda era la mia stanza, al di sopra dell'edificio, dove potevo godere del cielo attraverso la finestra.
Ma il problema era che la finestra non si chiuse fermamente.
In generale, tutto era perfetto come la posizione, personale amichevole tranne una donna sul desk front, il cui comportamento sembrava così arrabbiato tutto il tempo.
Naturalmente capisco perché le strutture dell'hotel non erano in buone condizioni perché l'edificio era completamente vecchio.
La colazione era molto piacevole.
Prima di rimanere a Porto, ero rimasto 3 notti al Holiday Inn a Lisbona.
Rispetto a 2 hotel l'uno con l'altro in termini di colazione, questo hotel sembrava essere migliore.
La prossima volta, se dovessi viaggiare a Porto, troverò un altro hotel tranne questo a causa dei difetti che ho menzionato.

EEmilyI recently spent four nights at Aparthotel Oporto Sol, and while my stay was overall okay, it came with a few drawbacks.
First, the location is a bit outside the main area of Porto, which required some extra effort to get into the heart of the city. While the surroundings were quiet and less crowded, I did find myself relying on public transport or taxis more than I would have liked.
One of the main issues was the absence of air conditioning in the bedroom. During my stay, the temperatures were warm, and it made things uncomfortable at night. Opening the windows was not an option due to the presence of mosquitoes outside, which meant I struggled to find a comfortable sleeping temperature.
On the positive side, the apartment itself was spacious and generally clean. The amenities were adequate for my needs, and the staff was friendly and helpful, albeit a few blocks over. I appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare some of my own meals during my stay.
In summary, while my stay at Aparthotel Oporto Sol had its merits, the lack of air conditioning and its location outside the main area impacted my overall experience. If you're sensitive to heat or prefer to be in the city center, you may want to consider other options. Otherwise, it serves as a decent accommodation for those seeking a quieter spot.
