Abbiamo viaggiato da NKY per un weekend di calcio. L' Inn By The River era così accogliente e utile che ci fermeremo la prossima volta. Sono stati d'aiuto a organizzare tutte le camere per 50+ persone, attrezzature, cibo, ecc. Non abbiamo avuto problemi o denunce quando ci siamo lasciati.

Ottimo posto, bel prendi e vai a fare colazione anche durante la pandemia. L'unica cosa che mancava era la vasca idromassaggio ma è stato un soggiorno incantevole.

Quando siamo arrivati per la prima volta per il check-in non erano gentili e ci hanno detto? trip.com ha cancellato la nostra prenotazione. La sentivo nel retro che parlava con il suo manager del fatto che eravamo gente del posto e che non volevano affittarci. Sapevo fin dall'inizio che stavano mentendo sul fatto che trip.com ci avesse cancellato. Una volta che ho contattato trip.com, hanno chiamato l'hotel e hanno detto loro che non avevano cancellato. Trip.com è stato meraviglioso nell'aiutare. Per quanto riguarda il resto dell'hotel è stato perfetto.

We've enjoyed staying here before (Although, thinking back they did put us in a room right under construction with a hammer drill starting at 7am, but they did move us and things were fine after) but were kind of disappointed this stay. We booked a couple months in advance through a third party and listed on the stay was all the things we were familiar with from a previous stay in Dec (microwave, coffee in room, and the breakfast buffet). It was why we chose this location. We got here to find that none of those items were part of the stay now, which was a bummer. The hotel offered a discount pass to a local buffet (total cost was $12 adult, $8 kids) but we were disappointed to add that extra daily $32 for our family. We have little kids, so we also typically order pizza and heat leftovers in the microwave. There's a microwave in the vending machine area, but we don't love having to walk plate by plate down the hall to heat things up. I'm told they have a coffee room of some kind being built, but it was pretty disappointing to find no coffee maker in the room where last time there was. I asked one of the cleaning staff about it, and they said they'd just been removed from the rooms. The hotel hadn't even told staff to stop delivering the coffee and creamer, which caused some confusion. So much has been taken away during the construction of the new area. I'm sure some of this will resolve when construction ends. Also, we were here for a fire drill, apparently for the new construction (in a different tower), but the drill wasn't announced as far as we could see. We'd stayed in on a rainy day and ended up rushing our toddlers down the back stairs into the cold rainy day. While this is an expected part of construction, we would have appreciated a heads up so we didn't have to tote our kids downstairs in jammies at nap time wondering if the building was on fire. The beds are very soft (we love that) and the rooms are nice and spacious. There's a nice fridge that can accommodate 2l drinks and pizzas. The rooms are great. Even with that said, my husband and I both feel like we wouldn't go out of our way to stay again at Country Cascades.
