We reserved a suite and a connecting room for our children. It felt as if we were in a flat. We stayed one week. We asked for a view on the Royal Palace, which I highly recommend. Hotel is very new and extremely comfortable and luxurious, staff very friendly and professional. Special mention for Sotheavy Hem in the breakfast lounge, dynamic and always ready to help and to the enthusiastic Srini. As othet reviews mentioned hotel is ideally placed. Hotel was above my expectations and I can only recommend to stay there.

I had the most wonderful weekend at the Himawari Hotel and Apartments. I stayed at one of the newly renovated rooms and it was really great! I had a nice view of the Mekong river. The showers have good water pressure too. I was also impressed at the staff of the hotel. Incredibly polite and courteous, which put a smile on my face always. As a return guest, I was so pleased that some of the longer serving staff remembered me! It made me feel at home and that Himawari is one big family ❤️ I’ve always enjoyed my meals at the Oyster restaurant too. Buffet breakfast always excellent, as well as their regular menu. My favorite are the fish and chips (as good as any high end restaurants I’ve been too) and the beef Lok Lak over rice. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Himawari when you’re visiting Phnom Penh. I’ll be looking forward to returning in the future!

L'hotel Sokha è un posto fantastico. Un enorme hotel ma con niente accadere. Arriviamo alle 8 e siamo stati aggiornati in una suite. Una grande stanza in un grande hotel ma nessun altro nell'hotel? Il luogo era molto pulito, molti membri del personale sono molto amichevole. L'hotel è il lato sbagliato del fiume. D'altro canto era in giro con i locali e i turisti a differenza del lato dell'hotel sokha che ha solo locali. Anche i conducenti tuk-tuk non vogliono andare lì. Colazione la mattina successiva era buona. Abbiamo pagato meno di £100 per questo hotel, grande valore per un hotel 5* ma purtroppo mancano i clienti e per questo qualsiasi tipo di atmosfera !

Possibly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel a lot. I’ve experienced a lot of hotels. The pool area is very tropical with lots of mature plants and trees. The water temperature is perfect. Great cabanas on the edge of the pool and plenty of them. The food at the restaurant is great. Plus I love the lighting in the restaurant at night. In fact the lighting is well thought out throughout the hotel and in the rooms, creating ambience and mood. It’s something that’s so often overlooked in hotels. The room itself is a reasonable size with a very comfortable bed, fridge, tv, AC, god water pressure and hot water, lots of nice little touches in the rooms. Pretty cushions, free water, toiletries, flowers. I also loved the day bed for reading. I had a balcony overlooking the pool on the second level. It was peaceful and all I could hear was bird song. The staff are smiley and attentive. The location is perfect. Yet despite its central location it’s so peaceful. When you come in off the street and walk passed the Koi carp pond you feel as if your walking into another world. It’s as if the sound even from the street gets turned down, even the air smells differently here which I’m assuming is due to all the plants. The price is competitive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place highly. I will be returning in December and will definitely be back. Also don’t miss a deep tissue massage at the spa with Bopa , it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Just book it!

Sì, l'Hotel Frangipani è buono per i soldi. Ero in viaggio d'affari per un non profit e aveva un piccolo bilancio. Le camere erano belle e la posizione era invincibile. La ragione per cui ho dato a questo hotel un rating di cinque stelle è però per il personale. Ho avuto un problema con centinaia di dollari in contanti e il manager della notte ha personalmente lasciato il suo modo di correggerlo, ha fatto un passo avanti e poi ha rifiutato di accettare un consiglio. Non lo dimenticherò mai. La gentilezza guadagna stelle.

All’arrivo ero un po’ sottosopra, la zona di accoglienza era molto di base, ma la stanza era assolutamente deliziosa, abbondante spazio, un letto molto confortevole, una bella vista sul fiume (e un balcone per goderla) e una decorazione elegante ma semplice. L'hotel era stato pulito senza spazi da un bel personale di custodia. Mi sentivo di aver fatto scendere in cielo. Il personale di ricezione era super utile (anche se l'inglese era un po' limitato) e il colazione (nel ristorante adatto) era super. Il personale era meraviglioso, la selezione dei cibi era un po' limitata, ma il servizio, la qualità e la presentazione dei cibi erano composti. Non ci sono molte camere, e penso che probabilmente ero fortunato a essere stato in grado di prenotare a breve termine solo un giorno o due prima del mio soggiorno) e il prezzo che ho pagato era fantasticamente ragionevole per il livello di alloggio. Il bar/restaurante al tetto, con un po' di brindisi e una birra al principio della serata era anche super; con una vasta gamma di locali e visitatori. Devo aggiungere che l'hotel è in una breve gita tuk-tuk di tutte le principali attrazioni Phnom Penh. Grazie mille, squadra.Spero davvero di tornare un giorno, è stata una splendida esperienza.

We were traveling in a group, we had 8 rooms booked more than a month in advance, we arrived late because our flight was deviated due to bad weather, we contacted them to notify them about it and they replied with an ok. At 2:30-3 am that we arrived they told us that there were mo rooms available. The guy in the front desk had a really terrible attitude even saying that it was not his problem, and also telling us he couldn’t find our bookings. After a while the manager came and he did find all our bookings, and he managed to help us get the first night in a neighbor hotel (which given the circumstances we had no other choice).

Pretty good hotel. First it’s made in authentic Khmer style, just beautiful. Room is clean. One thing I just don’t get - only one socket. It’s really strange, we can’t charge all our devices. Very big and comfortable beds. Things seems a little old, but it’s ok, does not affect comfort. Personal is responsive. Breakfast is Swedish-table and it’s decent. Very good location - 2 mins from National Museum and Royal Palace. Near all embankment and all good bars. Definitely recommend for visiting.

From check in to check out, everything was almost perfect. But after check out, I had trouble to go to the Bus station.The Bus station I needed to go was not on the grab application. So I was needed to point out the location by myself on the map in Grab app. Eventhough, can find that location on google map, it was hard to point out on Grab map by pointing out due to the fact that map in grab was not that detailed like google and the whole alley on Phnom penh was so many. So I told one of the staffs to help me point out the location on Grab map that I needed to go comparing the right location on google map, but got rejected by the male staff. So shocked coz it's not that difficult request. It was just for him to help me point out the location on goolgle in grab. He just rejected just refused. So I called grab driver with rough location and needed to ask for the driver to help me find bus company that I booked with 10,000 tips. And then almost missed the bus. It should not happed to all guests including guests from Trip.com from now on.

Quando siamo andati qui, eravamo su un bilancio, siamo arrivati a notte, solo per capire che la nostra carta non funzionava e ci hanno detto di pagare il giorno dopo, dandoci la prima notte gratuitamente. Ora non so se si tratta di una procedura standard, ma sono stato così grato quando è successo perché mi ha fatto apprezzare il personale più e la fiducia che avevano (senza dubbio ho pagato il giorno dopo se ti chiedessi!). Non avevamo nessuna ubriacone, la stanza aveva tutto quello che ci serviva. Wifi era grande, tuk tuks sono ovunque e si può andare in luoghi senza essere costosi. Se sei su un bilancio, consiglierei questo posto. E' pulito e fa il lavoro. Il nostro era al terzo piano e tutte le scale, che non era una questione per noi perché avevamo solo sacchetti leggeri. Se stai pensando di portare un bagaglio pesante, forse vorresti tenerlo in considerazione. State a posto, consigliate per la pulizia, e la gentilezza del personale.

L'hotel ha un nome diverso - Altos Hotel. Sembra un po' più vecchio o in basso di quanto vedi nelle foto. Tuttavia, il servizio è stato eccellente. La signora che puliva la casa ha lasciato l'acqua alla mia porta, anche se ho un segno di ”Non disturbare” alla mia porta.Uno degli uomini alla ricezione è andato anche in un negozio vicino per me per fare fotocopie di documenti importanti.

Prenotato via Agoda per $10 a notte. lo stesso posto come Diamond Palace II/RS II Opposto il parco. 2 fili di 4 camere con quelle in frontiera con vista le quelle in fondo sono più tranquilli. Le scale sono un po 'stesse. Non c'è ascensore. Ho una piccola ma decente stanza per una persona. Wifi era buono. Ci sono state due bottiglie d’acqua nella stanza. Li ho messi nel frigorifero (che era smontato, doh!). Alcuni dei sockets di stivaggio erano un po’ insensibili nella stanza. Ho chiesto di essere trasferiti in un altro stanza. La maggior parte dei sockets di plug funzionava e c'era un guardaroba e era al secondo piano.
