Hotel in zona Piesley Promenade Park, Perth

From the moment we arrived to the last second of our 2 night stay we were treated like royalty, the room was luxurious with well appointed amenities and soft luxurious bedding. The view is to die for looking out over perth city and the Swan River, and really is breathtaking of a night time. The hotel has a vast amount of thing to entertain you so realistically no need to leave, (and we didnt). Everything is within walking distance so it is very well situated. The pool area is divine with infinity pools and 2 jacuzzi's for those slightly cooler days. The bars and restaurants are excellent with a wide variety of food and drinks to satisfy every craving! Even if it is some dirty old mcdonalds haha. Overall this experience was a 6 star experience. Definitely one we will be doing again very soon in the future.

Abbiamo trovato questo hotel così opulente e bellissimo. Pure classe e servizio eccezionale dal momento che abbiamo tirato su per parcheggio valet. Mangiavamo nella stupenda griglia Firewater. Le scelte di menu, la selezione del vino e il servizio erano veramente di prima classe. Il cibo era cucinato perfettamente. Hubby aveva una rack di agnello e io avevo pesce del giorno. Ci è stato consigliato che la nostra camera (Junior Club Suite) era pronta e ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso di entrare a quanto spazio fosse. La TV era molto più grande di quanto ci aspettavamo, le cucce sui letti erano una delle migliori che abbiamo mai visto e il letto stesso era molto comodo. Le viste notturne erano sorprendenti con tutte le luci che scorrevano.Abbiamo avuto accesso al Club, che era perfetto anche per noi. Ci sono trascorse quasi due ore in una tavola da finestra, che godeva delle belle luci notturne, chattava, rilassava e godeva la scelta molto generosa di canapeli, vino e spiriti, e il servizio in essa era impeccabile. La colazione alla griglia Firewater ha offerto fantastiche opzioni alimentari, calda e fredda, e non c'era altro che potevamo desiderare. Il personale dell'Hotel Duxton è da apprezzare per il loro eccellente servizio e attenzione ai dettagli. Sono stato così impressionato. Fatevi un favore e trattatevi per un breve o lungo soggiorno in questo fantastico hotel. Vi garantisco che sarete davvero distrutti e fatti sentire speciali.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Il 2° soggiorno nel Wonil Perth dopo un buon primo soggiorno l'anno scorso. Il Wonil Perth non è il vostro standard hotel 4 o 5 stelle (avrebbe meritato 5 stelle, per il resto), ma un posto unico con una bella vibe, ultimamente, ma non meno che grazie ad un'eccellente squadra. Il personale è molto amichevole, con il direttore dell'ufficio di frontiera Khalid Awan, molto cortese e orientato al servizio. La camera è stata bella, la vista dalla balcone, la terrazza, l'ottimo cibo nel ristorante e l'atmosfera accogliente.

Il personale è entusiasta e amichevole, che è l'hotel economico più economico nella zona commerciale centrale.La distanza a piedi può essere raggiunta in tutti i ristoranti.L'unico aspetto negativo è che l'hotel non ha un parcheggio e non può parcheggiare sul lato della strada, anche se la sicurezza è difficile da garantire durante il giorno, ed è costosa.

Raccomandare con forza questo luogo. Salutato da personale utile che si allontanano dalla loro strada per renderti comodo. Nessuno è troppo difficile per loro. Camere molto pulite con fogli di crisp. Perfettamente cucinato e presentato colazione con una vasta gamma di opzioni.

Abbiamo preso un'unità che non dice finestre e poiché non ci sono altri posti con un prezzo decente e questo è l'unico che sembra un prezzo decente, abbiamo provato per 1 notte e siamo rimasti molto sorpresi dal risultato. È carino e anche senza finestre è di gran lunga uno degli hotel più belli e puliti in cui siamo stati finora. È proprio accanto al parcheggio e nascosto in un angolo, ma questo non ci ha disturbato. Lo adoriamo in realtà. Inoltre è al piano terra, quindi non abbiamo dovuto salire le scale o aspettare l'ascensore. Il check-in si è svolto senza problemi con il check-in automatico. I servizi sono fantastici. La distanza era un po' lontana dalla stazione ma è un buon esercizio e camminare!

La Sebel West Perth ha offerto una scelta di alloggio a buon bilancio durante il mio recente viaggio, che mi ha consentito di rimanere nel cuore della città senza rompere la banca. Il personale di The Sebel West Perth era amichevole ed efficiente. Anche se non troppo lussuoso, il lobby e le aree comuni dell'hotel erano tempestive e ben mantenute. Il processo di check-in era rapido e il personale era facilmente disponibile per affrontare qualsiasi domanda. Le camere, pur essendo di base, erano pulite e avevano tutti gli elementi essenziali per un soggiorno confortevole. Anche se gli mobili non erano più moderni, servivano il loro scopo. Il letto era abbastanza confortevole per un sonno decente dopo un giorno di esplorazione della città. La posizione dell'hotel era senza dubbio il punto di vendita più forte. Situato nel centro della città, ha significato un facile accesso alle attrazioni popolari, ristoranti e trasporti pubblici. Questa comodità mi ha consentito di sfruttare al massimo il mio tempo in città senza spendere molto sul trasporto.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE BIG4 … LOOK ELSEWHERE Recently, my wife and I stayed at Big4 Perth Midland Tourist Park. This without doubt would have to be the worst Big4 caravan park that I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a few being a Big4 Member. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it is an absolute disgrace to the name of Big4 who would do well to distance themselves from this park. Many of the permanent’s sites, of which there are many, are nothing short of hovels which should be condemned; the ablutions whilst old, really need some proper cleaning and not just a lick and a promise. Hand soap in the ablutions was hit and miss, and garbage bins were continually overflowing and reeked of rotten food (prawns heads, crab shells etc) in the heat. The bins need to be either replaced more often as they become full or moved to a more central area away from sites, and if the permanents must walk a short way to put their rubbish in the bin, then so be it … having them parked outside their vans bringing flies and vermin is unacceptable especially in the heat of summer. Our site had a gutter that was so high that it caught our grey water outlet as we backed in twisting it 90 degrees, but thankfully not breaking the outlet. When we leave, again we expect the high gutter will catch the outlet again and hopefully not break it. Despite the check-in documents saying there is to be no washing of cars and caravans, several times we saw both permanents and campers doing just that … washing their cars etc … no intervention by staff was ever observed telling people to stop this practice. We needed consistent WI-FI as we were selling our house and needed contact both with sales agency and solicitors to facilitate the sale … but the Internet was “spotty and intermittent” every single day of our stay, even in the early hours of the morning when fewer people would be using it. Numerous times a day, I had to reboot my laptop which was extremely disappointing and frustrating when the booster was less than 10 metres from where our caravan was situated. Whilst the staff were fabulous, and accommodating, and the rates competitive, it did not make this stay worth coming back … we will never stay here again. For those looking at staying here, look elsewhere … it is a disgrace!

I had a pleasant two-night stay at The Colony. Waking up each morning to the sound of nature and a beautiful balcony was nothing short of a dream. The staff was incredibly remarkable! My flight was at 6pm and I was meant to check out by 10am. However, it was stormy outside and a very thoughtful staff member named Melanie reached out to me and allowed me to extend my checkout time. I am returning to Perth in November and I will look nowhere else but to stay at The Colony again!
