"The hotel is very nice but unfortunately I was in a room that was extremely close to a very loud night club/venue. This only went quiet around midnight on a Sunday. I was offered a change of room late in the evening - at 11pm - but that was both impractical and largely pointless by that stage. Note that small rooms - at least - don't include a fridge or any coffee/tea making facilities. The dining room covers this to some extent."

"Reaching the hotel from the convention centre in a 10-minute walk is walking through a little jungle with waterbirds, palm trees and beautiful nature. The hotel itself is a nice and friendly place, in convenient distance from the city centre. Helpful and friendly staff, parking on site and good breakfast choices."

"Clean and comfortable stay. Walkable to many shops and food outlets. The only gripe is that the paid parking is one street away.
The room is neat and clean. The dryer and washer are clean and well-maintained - surprised that the lint filter is clean and empty, unlike some accommodation that don't bother to empty it. Spare pillows provided in the cupboards if you need additional ones.
Would be good if a trash bin can be provided at the living area, and a drying rack for wet dishes.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Note that the front desk is open till 11pm only. For late arrivals, do inform them. We reached at about 8pm and none of the street parking outside the apartments was not available so it was cumbersome to move all our luggages along with our kids. The entrance is not barrier-free (3 small steps into the main door) so travellers with heavy luggages might require some help.
The building is secure with a tap access lock into the main door."

"I had a great time here - for what you pay the room is spacious and comes with a sink, microwave and fridge. Ensuite was clean and towels provided. Bed was comfortable and prime location close to Northbridge and Perth city centre (max 20 min walk) on a main road opposite McDonalds. Owners are lovely and always up for a chat when in office. A great place for a short or even long term stay."

Ppetrina yeoSiamo rimasti come una famiglia di due anni, e non mi sembrava che fosse una 5 stelle, forse più di una 4 stelle.
Quando siamo arrivati tardi, stanchi di una lunga guida, non c'era nessun ragazzo di campanile che ci aiutasse con bagagli diretti verso la stanza, e l'esp con un bambino in arrivo era difficile; ma uno dei nostri sacchetti si rompe e il personale ci aiutava a prendere una borsa dal loro negozio.
Non è stato fornito neppure un torso dentale al giorno di check-in e il giorno dopo abbiamo scoperto solo che deve essere richiesto, seriamente, è una necessità molto fondamentale di avere almeno per il primo giorno.
La decorazione era destinata a essere classica, ma abbiamo trovato un po'sombra.
La parte peggiore era che il letto era troppo morbido e svanito, i prossimi giorni avevo un bastone.
Su una nota positiva il bagno era enorme, il bagno era spazioso con due cuscinetti! Il mio bambino godeva il bagno, e anche loro preparavano il cappotto nella stanza quando siamo arrivati, e mi piaceva molto.
Il giorno dopo ho chiesto un seggiolone alto, e il seggiolone era posto in tempo in camera nostra quando siamo tornati.
Anche il colazione era Ala carte, non buffet, ma era ben cucinato - ma non hanno offerto un menu per bambini.
La posizione è vicina al shopping cbd ma notare il parcheggio a Hay Street ha tariffe giornaliere/orari che dovreste fare in base al valore del vostro soggiorno. La maggior parte delle negozi chiude presto circa le 5:00 al momento in cui siamo tornati dalle nostre viaggi di giorno.
In generale questo hotel era più per coppie o per soggiorni di lavoro e non così bambino/familia amico, ma questo è solo il mio parere!

UUtente anonimoLocation: what's hot- centrally located near the CBD & ”heart of town”. What's not- one of the furthest in terms of walking from Perth station. There are nearer hotels if you are coming from the Perth train station.
General facilities: What's hot- contemporary Aussie art works line the walls of this building, inside & out, making it eclectic. What's not- unremarkable really. Standard features. Although reasonably new, if you look closer, much of the linen covered furniture (viz chairs) are stained and grubby close up. Swimming pool is small. Dining area is smallish.
Rooms: What's hot- beds & pillows are very comfortable! Probably the best feature of the room. Shower head is a rain shower! Always a mark of a great bathroom. The TV screen is large. They provide an ironing board and an iron, which is nice. There's also a basic Expresso machine, which is appreciated. The room windows are floor to ceiling-great views and light! What's not- no toiletries unless requested (eco drive). No tissue paper unless requested. No room slippers provided. No water- so you either have to boil it in-room, or walk to the 1st floor to get it from the dining room, which sucks. Carpets are designed to hide the grime, but on closer inspection, the stains are there, giving you an icky feel. The wardrobe area is severely limited, so it feels cramped when you have 2 people trying to share the same area. Could be better. There is no dedicated luggage stand, so you'll have to do with laying it on the floor. Pity your back & knees.
Service: What's hot- nothing really. All the politeness your expect from any hotel. Nothing remarkable. What's not- housekeeping service is inconsistent & poor. By any standards of a good hotel this is one big area that they need to improve upon. We stayed 7 nights & for the first half of our stay, we had to request for our rooms to be made up and on at least 2 days, there was no housekeeping at all. It almost felt like a third party service had been employed to take care of the rooms which was disconnected from the hotel's standards. An annoyance we could do without & a huge fail in my books.
Breakfast: What's hot- sadly, nothing great. It was ok, again, unremarkable in its variety, quality & presentation. What's not: if I had to do it again, I'd find breakfast elsewhere & save the money.
Conclusion: it was ok. Nothing to draw me back again unless I had no other choice. The fact that it's an Accor accredited hotel makes it even more disappointing. Between the poor housekeeping & the unremarkable breakfast, it's a pretty average hotel with limited repeatability if you had a choice.

The view from our room was unblocked and the hotel within a short walking distance to the main shopping belt In Perth. It is also relatively near to the lively botonical garden. The main downside for us was the bed was soft.

Hotel guests can also sit quietly for a meal behind the bar in the classy diner snd read, relax and recharge. Must try the highly sophisticater 2 Fat Indian 5 star resturant at the hotel, located on the 2nd floor. Alternatively, for more privacy and authenticity the hotel concerige can hail a car/cab to chauffeur to the other 2 fat indian restuarnt situated at nearby Mt Lawley, another sophisticste, urban regentrified yuppie yet child friendly establishment.

I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities.
Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus.
Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness.
Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!

QQxzXoxoRooms were recently renovated and is superrrr clean!! Carpets floorings were vacuumed and I can see no dust. Stayed for three nights. Hope it will stay like this in the future!
However toilets need some improvements especially the Shower area. No space to put our toiletries while bathing. The glass panels have spaces inbetween so the water will flow out and will make the floor all wet.
Lobby area is cozy. We left our luggages at the counter after checking out since our flight is only later that day. Thanks!
