The Westin could be everything you’d want from a great city hotel in a brand new curated precinct with restaurants and bars, let down completely by the incompetence and complete apathy of the staff. The exception was the front desk, with quick friendly service but beyond that it was completely amateur and haphazard. The room service was spotty everyday, and on 2 days the room was not made up, every other day the room coffee cups, milk or spoons or coffee pods or sugar or milk was not replaced or towels not provided. You’d think service staff have a checklist, should be easy right!? The lobby cafe in the hotel called Haven was more like Hell, I had to dedicate a separate review for that as the service was non existent, appalling. Garum again has so much potential, alas the service is astonishingly haphazard, food not delivered, 30 minutes to bring my wine, served up after my meal. Frankly the staff have no idea, the poor manager made up for it, but he is terribly let down by his team, who don’t seem to miss an opportunity to disappoint. Wow so much potential absolutely wasted by something very fixable, if you can’t change the people then change the people! There was clearly a lack of middle management. The porters at the door were equally incompetent or inexperienced, I fumbled my way through the two large entrance doors, and after I made my way through, there was a feeble attempt by one if the porters that lifted his head up from his phone to assist with my hand luggage into my car, he seemed so pleased with himself that he was my knight in shining armour, hopeless. Come on Westin, prove me wrong, really I want this fantastic hotel to succeed in my neighbourhood, I want to recommend you to my colleagues and friends but fix your rubbish service!! Until then I can’t recommend you, I have a reputation to protect something you should care about as well.

Loved our one night staycay at ritz carlton. We arrived early and were able to check in early with no fuss. When I booked there were no rooms left with a king bed and river view so had to book 2 doubles but I requested it upon check in and they sorted it for us. The room was amazing, fantastic views, very spacious, clean and modern The pool area is great, we ordered lunch and cocktails that we had poolside in the sun Went back to our room and there was a bottle of bubbly in there with a note to someone else for their anniversary which was a little strange. We were there for my husbands birthday and there was no mention of that even though I made them aware so maybe they got their notes mixed up. We ate in hearth restaurant which was delicious, although service could have been quicker!! The songbird bar was lovely- will definitely return there Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. We couldn’t order items; it was buffet only which was disappointing initially but the quality of the buffet items made up for it. We were able to continue using the facilities after check out. Wish the sauna and hydro therapy pools were not gender segregated

I stayed at Intercontinental to celebrate a birthday. The hotel provided a complimentary bottle of wine, which was very nice. The room was very small for the price paid, and considering the hotel is relatively new, it felt a little dated. We paid extra for club lounge access and wished we hadn't. It has to be one of the worse lounges I've ever visited. It was very dated and had no atmosphere, apart from feeling sterile. The food offerings were very poor. Evening canapes looked like they had been sat out for hours and were of poor quality. Breakfast was even less appetising. It was a combination of dry reheated food and cold food that had been sat out for too long, most of which was inedible. The lounge service was adequate but certainly nothing special and not five stars. On check out, I was asked how our stay had been and said it was adequate but nothing more. The checkout assistant just thanked me for staying. I responded to the hotel's generic email for feedback but received no reply, which begs the question of how much attention and consideration they give to guests' feedback. With so many hotels now available in Perth CBD, the Intercontinental needs to up its game to attract return guests.

Special occasion for our wedding anniversary and well looked after by the Hilton Parmelia staff, and it’s always nice to see long time staff and the meet new. While diamond HH, we were upgraded to a beautiful Kings parlor room for the weekend, had an amazing breakfast in our room, and we always find the executive lounge enjoyable as a relaxing place to go and the food offered is often varied. We enjoy the Samuels restaurant and bar food menu, but I do miss the Caesar salad from the pre covid days. It used to be the best. We have stayed at other Perth hotels, including the DT but the Parmelia still comes out tops for us. Thank you for making the weekend so special.

Una piccola finestra che può essere aperta per far entrare un po' d'aria nella stanza, il che è carino. Il bagno è di grandi dimensioni con molto spazio per muoversi. Con il bagno è stato il momento clou. Bello e abbastanza profondo da adattarsi a una coppia per loro bagni di coppia romantici in stile film 😄. Il bagno ha una tavola di legno seduta su di essa per il bicchiere se il vino o il cibo se lo si desidera. Inoltre ha una piccola bomba da bagno che è stata una bella sorpresa. La doccia era buona, tranne che non riuscivo a capire come cambiarla dalla doccia a pioggia a quella a mano 🤷‍♂️. La camera è dotata di tè T2 e bustine di caffè con filtro antigoccia e due bottiglie di acqua gratuita che non è comune in molti hotel. Non abbiamo utilizzato i servizi in camera in quanto hanno rimosso questo servizio e utilizzano invece il menu del ristorante della taverna con orari limitati. Abbiamo mangiato al posto Ramen che ora è nella mia parte superiore nei posti Ramen a Perth con Nao che compone l'altro. Il Ramen era un brodo più denso ma era pieno di sapore e veniva fornito con uova sode in omaggio? Non abbiamo potuto usare il bar sul tetto perché al momento è aperto solo il venerdì, il che è stato deludente l'ho scoperto solo perché ho sentito dire per caso a un altro cliente che sarebbe stato bello vederlo messo sul sito web dell'hotel così la gente lo sa in anticipo Nel complesso un ottimo posto dove stare ci tornerò?

FLEE THIS PLACE !! This hotel is anything except a youth hostel. Boring as hell, no backpackers in it while on their website they say they are a hotel for backpackers, the wifi doesn't work, the pictures of are not at all like the reality; the sofas inside and outside are all torn and dirty, the sofas in the large common room downstairs act as a bed for most people. And the most scandalous thing is that the hotel is infested with BED BUGS !! First of all, when we arrived on November 16th, we learned that, unfortunately, due to the number of people in the hotel, we were obliged to change rooms during our stay. Unless I'm mistaken, this information is not written on your website at the time of booking, so the least you can do is to ask if this change is a problem for the client.... After talking to some people I learned that bed fleas are present in the hotel. I go directly to the reception to ask that they don't change my room but they guarantee me that the whole hotel has been ”professionally treated” and that I have nothing to worry about. So when I changed rooms, I didn't worry that there might be some in that room because of what I had been told. But to my surprise, one night when I went to bed, there was a bed bug walking around on the bed! The next morning, once the hotel staff knew about it, I had to change rooms again (former room infested with bed bugs that the two French brothers had been victims of) as soon as possible. Once back in my new room I lay down on the bed and against the wall I see again a bed bug! In the morning, all they could tell me was that I had to leave the room and the hotel the next day, because there was supposedly no more room ”available” even though I had booked for more than a week. So in less than 24 hours, I had to find a new hotel in emergency despite my work. This hotel lacks professionalism like I have never seen before. Finally, no one freaks out about bed fleas, the manager only changes people in their rooms which spreads the bed fleas throughout the hotel.

The European Hotel retains much of its distinctive style but it IS different under the new management. Miss Maud is on an extended break but it looks like the wonderful buffet cafe/restaurant on the corner has gone forever. There is a small coffee shop as part of the complex. We were disappointed with the service. Offerings were fairly limited and not cheap. But there are other options nearby. The hotel is now more Eurasian. There is nothing wrong with that of course. Staff at reception are professional but can be curt at times. I endorse the comment of the reviewer who mentioned information about wifi and password was not freely given at check-in. Having said that, the free wifi was very good. Room was as we expected. Comfortable but the airconditioning took a little while to get used to. The hotel is an easy walk from Perth railway station so it is convenient for people using the new (October 2022) airport line. Public bus services pass close by. Many businesses in the area have closed down but the hotel surroundings are generally safe. However, some patrons may feel a little uneasy about some of the local street and homeless people.

Hotel eccellente per la nostra prima visita, 2-night soggiorno a Perth. Ideale per camminare in vari siti, o saltare sui bus CAT gratis. La camera “Essentials” (basic) è piccola ma veramente fornita tutto quello che ci serve. Letti, lenzuola, le mutandine erano ideali, con aria condizionata e doccia fantastica! Un macchina Nespresso in camera è stato il bonus perfetto di sorpresa!! Ogni personale che abbiamo incontrato è stato gentile, professionale, conosciuto, utile e amichevole. Kudos speciali per George (notte mngr), Reena (concierge del 9° piano) e Roxie (ufficio frontale). Uno e solo il disturbo era che la finestra nella stanza era stata congelata per rendere impossibile qualsiasi vista all'esterno. Perché??? Anche se la vista fosse indesiderabile, le tende di sfondo coprivano la finestra. Sarebbe stato molto più bello poter guardare fuori una finestra. Compara il rom con la prenotazione di una cabina interna su una nave da crociera! In tutto, rimarrebbe certamente a Quay Perth.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

Volevamo un alloggio vicino all'arena e questo era perfetto. Il personale, la pulizia, il colazione, la camera da bagno accessibile, erano tutti grandi. Vergogna il livello di comodità del letto e del divano. Il letto rullava nel tempo medio grande e era molto basso. Il divano era estremamente basso, rendendolo inutilizzabile per una persona in particolare con disabilità, e non avevano chiaramente pensato a questo aspetto di utilità solo il bagno per renderlo accessibile. Situazione accanto al negozio Apple a Perth. Bella e centrale. Vicino a shopping area cbd e vicino al supermercato Woolworths e il Coles a Raine Square. L'ho usato come base per esplorare Perth vicino alla chiesa di Wesley, che era un bel parametro vicino all'hotel. La stanza era molto pulita e bella, ma doveva chiedere cose come la spazzola e il barbecue che consegnavano gentilemente alla porta. La polizia era sempre gentile e utile e voleva piacermi. Mi è stato dato un generoso check-out tardivo. Anche la signora di pulizia era molto carina, e una domanda era che la mia stanza era lontana dal lobby dell'ascensore. Un'altra cosa era che il distributore d'acqua si trovava vicino a una polvere aperta e a volte potevo vedere voli che stava accanto al bin mentre riempivo il mio acquatto con fretta. In generale, mi piaceva stare lì.

Hotel recentemente costruito situato nel quartiere di Elizabeth Quay. Le camere sono spaziose e luminose pulite. Bella piscina infinita sul bordo del fiume e la vista dal bar del tetto sul 18° piano è spettacolare. Non si può trovare colpa di questo hotel, sicuramente resterà qui di nuovo.

Le camere e le strutture erano decenti, tranne per i bar vicini che possono arrivare al rumore fino a 2/3AM la mattina durante i fine settimana. Questo ostello è molto grande : localizzazione, servizio, organizzazione... Il suo « radici » disturbo ti fa sentire a casa molto veloce ! Le persone sono carine, il personale sta ascoltando qualsiasi problema che puoi avere e aiutarti a risolverlo in qualsiasi momento. C'è un giardino che è davvero buono +. L'ostello è pulito, la cucina è funzionale e ci sono anche molti bagni, quindi non c'è bisogno di aspettare molto per ottenere il lavaggio. Se si prevede di soggiornare a Perth per un lungo periodo di lavoro, è il miglior ostello perché hanno una disponibilità a lungo termine che garantisce il vostro letto per un periodo di tempo, finché si continua a ricordare al personale che vi resterà una settimana di più. Insomma, se si desidera soggiornare a Perth per un lungo periodo, l'Hive Hostel è il migliore.
