Stayed here for two nights while attending an event in the (sort of) area. Had the good fortune of having a top-floor room with a sweeping view of Keuka Lake. WHAT WAS GOOD: The room was fairly standard, in line with the Hampton brand, but a microwave, small fridge and in-room coffee were nice touches….Views of the lake were spectacular (more on that in a moment)….Staff were friendly and helpful….There’s a nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi space on the first floor, with views of the lake beyond the property’s pleasant back lawn….Breakfasts, included with room, were good, but I would like to have seen some fresh fruit in addition to the standard hot and cold offerings….Dinner at Keuka Breeze was excellent and exceeded expectations. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER: With such a beautiful lakeside location, I couldn’t figure out why windows in the rooms were so small. I wished some of the solid lake-facing exterior wall in my room could have been sacrificed in favor of more glass. Picky, I know, but just a thought that kept going through my mind. THINGS TO KNOW: We didn’t eat there but there’s a nice restaurant right next door to the hotel. On the main road beyond that is a low-key commercial ***** with a few conveniences as you approach the center of Penn Yan. The hotel is surrounded by peaceful lakefront scenery. BOTTOM LINE: We had a nice stay here and would definitely return.

Hotel was a great value for the money. Clean, large rooms, good bar and restaurant. Food was great too with friendly and very courteous staff.
