UUtente ospitePros: very clean, staff are helpful and polite. The beach is beautiful white sand with turquoise water and palm trees for shade. There are a lot of chairs around the pools and on the beach. The room was comfy, good beds and pillows. Great shower and bathtub. The property is well kept. The are many activities, games and events organized.
CONS: The food is average, generic and limited for vegetarians. The restaurant menues are not a la carte. It’s a fixed menu. The cocktail are way too sweet , except for David, it was impossible to get a good drink. The wine is dry but no choice not even to purchased. If you like an American diet with everything sweet and you want to hand by the pool and bar, you will be happy. If you want to rest on the beach, without having vendors bug you every 5 minutes plus having to breathe cigarette smokes which is allowed all over the beach. If you like decent food and enjoy a good cocktail and wine. This place is not for you.

FFLAVIA FAZANIThe hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The staff is friendly and polite, making you feel welcome. There are several restaurants and a good variety of drinks and food. Unfortunately, the area isn’t safe—my bag was stolen, and we also witnessed a very serious car accident with fatalities. The hotel itself is great, but due to the safety concerns, I wouldn’t return to Cancun/Playa del Carmen.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-organized resort with spacious, quiet rooms (ours had no balcony, but it was fine). The minibar was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless.
Highlights:
✔ Food variety – Multiple à-la-carte restaurants (dinner reservations not needed) and buffets with good lunch/breakfast options.
✔beach – Plenty of sunbeds but no umberalla so bring your sunscreen, though pools get crowded les sunbeds.
✔ Access to sister hotels – Party lovers can visit Riu Tequila’s club nearby.
✔ Convenient location – Mini-market across the street, and Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) is just a 150-peso taxi ride away.
✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min ride + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado turism station).
Minor drawbacks:
✖ No elevators – Tough for guests with mobility issues.
✖ Entertainment hiccups – The host sometimes forgot to switch back to English after Spanish announcements.
Perfect for: Travelers who want good value, variety, and proximity to Playa’s nightlife.

UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay. The food offered a great variety and was always a good choice. The facilities are very spacious, so you don’t feel how many guests are actually staying at the hotel. The beach was excellent — you just need to wake up early to get a front-line beach bed.
We loved the continental breakfast available at 6 am; with our jet lag, it was amazing to have such an early option. Most of the guests were middle-aged, kind, and friendly, which created a very pleasant atmosphere.
They also have an amazing jungle area with animals, which was very cool. The animals looked healthy and well taken care of, and it was a lovely addition to the experience.
However, we didn’t see many staff members who were smiling or particularly willing to help — some were friendlier than others, but a few came across as a bit rude.
Overall, we had a very nice experience and would return to this hotel again.

Al nostro arrivo i distributori di sapone bot nel bagno erano completamente vuoti!!!!!! Abbiamo dovuto contattare la Compagnia che gestisce l'appartamento, il ragazzo è venuto con uno di quei grandi vasi di prodotto di pulizia del pavimento tagliato a metà in con un liquido all'interno in colore giallo scuro/marrone e riempire quei dispensatori ... molto strano..
Non poteva darci nessun sapone per pulire i piatti in cucina :(
La cucina aveva pochi piatti da usare, quindi non potevamo usarli davvero.
Usavamo la piscina sul tetto, ma il bar sul pavimento sottostante era in modalità ”ristruttura” (e sembra che sia stato così per un po').
Abbiamo solo bisogno di rimanere per 1 notte, quindi non è stato un grande problema per noi, ma è una vergogna che in tutto il bel appartamento Riviera Maya non sono veramente mantenuti e servizi correttamente ...

WWondooPersonally, the music sound from the bar did not inturrupt us because we are used to those noise. But if you need a quiet place to sleep, then the hotel would be the bad choice. They did not have a hair dryer so we should’ve dry hair with A/C🤣 There were some bugs like ants and mosquitos which freaked my partner. But “I” was satisfied about the hotel’s cleanness and in/exterior because it looked quite good. If you like bar, there is a good bar in front of the hotel and also a taco place.
Overall, the experience in the hotel was quite good for me and the location was also so good because it’s so close(one block) from the 5th ave.

ミミアキスNel complesso, l'hotel era pulito, ma l'età dei servizi era evidente, con uno specchio del bagno sporco, un ugello della doccia che non funzionava e una pressione dell'acqua debole.
C'era anche una festa al primo piano o sul tetto che è andata avanti fino a quasi mezzanotte, quindi la musica era alta e sono stato svegliato verso le 3 del mattino dal rumore continuo di sedie che venivano tirate giù dal piano di sopra.
La colazione era buona il primo giorno, ma non altrettanto il secondo.
Inoltre, non capisco perché mi sia stato addebitato un supplemento il giorno del mio soggiorno, nonostante avessi prenotato e pagato una tariffa che includeva la tassa di soggiorno.
È facilmente raggiungibile, ma considerando il prezzo, è un hotel a 3 stelle.
