Hotel con parcheggio a Medan

Booked 2 rooms for 4 guests via trip.com with an additional request for rooms with a connecting door. In the trip.com app, we intentionally correctly filled all the guest details for each rooms. Upon checkin, the hotel’s front desk said they cant accommodate the connecting room request because they say it was booked under different names. Sadly they used this opportunity to argue with us, printing out in front of ourselves with their printer on the front desk: 2 separate reservations under different names (Maybe since we intentionally filled those guest names correctly? But the contact number and email is still the same, no?). From it we briefly saw all details like the 2 different reservations numbers they used as the crucial evidence, and how our booking was routed through ******* (From this detail one could argue the request was lost through the flawed trip.com system. Yet the hotel could’ve investigated and be more proactive after seeing a reservation for one room asking for connecting doors??). I thought hotel guests checking in at night only wanted rest, not attending trial??? Although to be fair in the end they got us 2 connecting rooms, albeit at a low floor (after the unnecessary bargaining). They required Rp200K as deposit. Room was clean, with a very useful Korean brand smart tv. Functional hair dryer, good lighting, with an in-room safe, and a small fridge/chiller. Breakfast could’ve been better, but there’s a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We got valet parking but didn’t pay for it, was it complimentary because of the limited parking space this hotel has, or did we get it as compensation/goodwill, we never knew (this was not explained at check in).

Hotel is well appointed and located. Service is acceptable but we had to wait more than half an hour to check in. On top of that, we were not given the 5 twin rooms we booked and confirmed. We had to settle for 1 kingsize bedded room which was not what we asked for but I had to take the room. This is not expected of a 5 star Marriot hotel. We had made our booking through Trip.com nearly 2 months before our travel date so there is no reason why we could not get our 5 twin rooms when it was confirmed by the hotel. I was very upset but could not wait any longer to check in as we were all very tired. The Receptionist said the hotel was very full but not to be impolite, that is not the customer's problem. Your organisation needs to pull up their socks on delivering what was confirmed without making excuses . To make things worse, when we asked for extension of check out to 2pm, we were flatly refused. They did not even offer to extend 1 or 2 rooms to 2pm although we were a group of 5 rooms that stayed 3 nights in your hotel. We all checked out by 11.30am. I wish I could have had nice things to say about the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the hotel policy but sorry, apart from smiling staff, tgere is nothing more complimentary I can say.

Questa è la mia prima volta che mi fermo qui, e devo dire che la stanza è incredibilmente accogliente e piacevole. Con 3 ascensori disponibili, è super comodo e vi risparmia da qualsiasi lunga attesa di muoversi tra i piani. Inoltre, è convenientemente situato vicino a Starbucks, APJ e Genk Steak.

Convenientemente situato dalla stazione ferroviaria (anche se usavamo Grab). Adorava la disponibilità di WatsApp con l'hotel, essi risposero immediatamente. Nonostante un set di bagni per due ospiti, sembrava un po' stupido. Il custode è sempre molto gentile a fornire più quando richiesto. Ottimo uso di massa al Spa L2. Il buffet per la colazione è sputoso, anche se il ”top-up” è lento dopo le 9:00. Centre point Centro centro commerciale è proprio dietro l'hotel.. con varietà di f&b, negozi & supermercato coreano.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 3 notti. Ci siamo stati qui qualche volta prima. L'hotel mantiene la sua ospitalità, il caldo e la cortese ricezione dei clienti. E 'stato molto facile da controllare e da controllare. Il personale dal desk front to household was friendly and warm. There are little things that should be pay attention to such as the menu for breakfast.. Although the spread is good but there should be some variations/changes. In generale, rimanendo qui, si ottiene valore per i vostri soldi.

Overall, Ibis Styles Medan Pattimura offers an above-average stay and is a reasonably good choice for business travelers. One of the hotel's strongest points is its staff, who are consistently friendly, courteous, and attentive. Their professionalism and willingness to assist guests contribute positively to the overall experience. However, the hotel's location is not particularly strategic, making it less convenient for accessing some of the city's main attractions and shopping areas. In addition, the facilities and in-room amenities appear somewhat dated and would benefit from renovation and modernization. The breakfast selection is also rather limited and lacks variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. In conclusion, the hotel provides acceptable comfort and service for business trips, but it may not be the most suitable option for travelers seeking a relaxing holiday or leisure-focused stay. It serves its purpose well for short work-related visits, but there is room for improvement in terms of facilities, location, and dining options.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable bedding. There are night markets and a big shopping mall in a walking distance.

A place that has passed its prime...A decent place for the price paid. No complaints about that.. Great superb location to everywhere.. between 2 hospitals ...and walkaway from malls.. still recommend to take a trike or grab a car . About the hotel... Receptionists were friendly and attentive 2 last elevator to reach floor Rooms are super spacious a king and a twin Have 2 toilets... So no need to scream and shout for a spot But sad thing... Place is poorly maintained Pillows past their shelf life. Toilet floor are slimy... It's a dry toilet I know but cleaning it with water and the smell.. uhh don't get me to start.. sewer smell plus pee smell.. uhhh not a fan.. have to buy moth ball and fresher to make it smell good House keeping... Shall not say much.. not the best. Don't know if they sweep or mop the floors .. So if location is a thing.. a good place to stay if u are not fussy. A decent place that's pasted it's prime

Grand Sakura Hotel is an acceptable budget-friendly option in Medan, especially considering the price point, but the property is showing its age and could benefit greatly from renovations. The room was functional but extremely dated. Furnishings and fixtures feel old, and the overall atmosphere lacks the freshness that many travellers would expect today. The television is very basic, and several channels are blurry, making the in-room entertainment experience quite limited. One positive aspect is the lobby, which is well presented and has a pleasant scent, creating a good first impression upon arrival. Unfortunately, the experience doesn’t quite continue into other areas of the hotel. Breakfast was one of the weaker points of the stay. The selection was minimal, and there wasn’t anything particularly memorable or standout among the offerings. It gets the job done, but don’t expect much variety or quality compared to other hotels in the same category. The gym was also disappointing. It is essentially a very small room with around five pieces of equipment, several of which appeared to be broken or poorly maintained. Calling it a full fitness centre would be an overstatement. Overall, Grand Sakura Hotel offers reasonable value for money if you’re simply looking for an affordable place to stay in Medan. However, with some refurbishment and better maintenance of its facilities, the hotel could significantly improve the guest experience and better justify its position in the market.

Camera semplice ed economica, ma abbastanza pulita (anche se con qualche formica). La posizione è centrale, a 20 minuti a piedi dai principali centri commerciali (Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), dalla fermata dell'autobus per l'aeroporto di Damri (di fronte a Plaza Medan Fair), dai centri massaggi/riflessologia per famiglie (Jl. Orion) e dai famosi negozi di dolci Medan, come ”Bika Ambon” (Zulaikha)/”Bolu” (Meranti). Parcheggio disponibile con servizio di sicurezza. Tuttavia, la colazione gratuita è disponibile solo a buffet, senza possibilità di scelta.
