Courtyard Osaka Honmachi ticks all the right boxes for a comfortable and convenient stay. The location is excellent—right by Honmachi Station, which connects easily to multiple major train lines. Plus, Osaka Castle Park is nearby, offering a scenic, spacious area for running or just soaking in the beauty. I was lucky to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom—absolutely stunning. The hotel is spotless, with excellent cleanliness maintained throughout. Service is top-tier—the staff is friendly and efficient, and they offer a convenient airporter service to ship your luggage straight to the airport or your next hotel. Facilities-wise, this one impressed me. The on-site gym was a lifesaver, and the coin laundry setup is practical and affordable. I skipped the hotel breakfast since there are so many great local food spots nearby, including a 7-11 just steps away. All in all, a fantastic stay with everything you need and more.

My wife and I booked the Collaboration King Room for 4 nights in April 2025. The location of the hotel is decent. It was right next to Sakaisuji Hommachi metro station which made commuting to the Dotonbori area convenient. There is also a 7-11 located just around the block and several restaurants in the vicinity. The room was clean and there was enough space for 2 open luggage bags. There was also a small seating area with a bay window and table. The amenities are fairly standard. There was a Nespresso machine in the room and another one at the hotel lobby. The staff spoke English and were friendly. Do note that there is a glass panel between the room and the toilet and the blinds are located on the outside.

Quite dusty and not cleaned thoroughly. Housekeeping did not changed the quilt and was. Not done meatly

Absolutely fantastic stay at Courtyard! It was so pleasant and everything was so clean. Perfect accessibility too. One night there was a sewer smell along the corridors and I let the front desk know and the next the smell was gone.

Good location, good service, helpful staff, everyday cleaning

the hotel is very old, does not match the picture, the room smells, the furniture needs to be upgraded, the price is very very high and not worth it

Standard Japan hotel. Nothing good or bad. Just an average hotel

The location was great. Walking distance to the famous shinsaibashisuji. Plenty eatery ard. The onsen in the hotel was great. Hotel was cleaned. Definitely Recommended.

Good service and very comfortable experience

This was a family trip with my mother and 3 sisters. so, I booked double bed rooms. the bed size is a bit small, 1.2 m. So, not so good for 2 persons. Location is good, 10-minute drive to Shinsabashisuji, 25-minute walk. It is quiet, but convenience. If you book the breakfast one night earlier, it is cheaper at around JPY3,000.

The hotel is very clean and the room is very spacious compared to a lot of hotels in Japan. The only thing is the hotel is a little bit far from centre of Osaka

Our stay was just OK. The staff were pleasant and kind. The room was also reasonably spacious with a nice bed and very good rain shower. Facilities in the hotel are poor. There is no swimming pool, sauna or steam room. There is a train station very close walking distance to the hotel. Overall, the hotel was nice. But I just didn't get a great vive for the place. I normally like Courtyard Marriott Hotels - I love the one in & HK at Sai Ying Pun, and I love the CMH in Nusa Dua Bali. But this one isn't great.

The room is a bit small, but the bed size is good and the mattress is comfortable. The breakfast is O.K, and the food variety can be increased.

To those who mentioned about the lugging of suitcase up stairs to reach hotel, fret not. There are 2 subway lines that can reach the hotel. Nearer one is the sakaisuji line (brown) and the other is Midosuji line (red). From Osaka Station, you can only change to the Midosuji line and get off at Honmachi Station. Head towards exit 9. As you walk you should see the staircase of exit 9, where many have lugged the suitcases up. Just before reaching exit 9, there is an entrance to a building on left, with lifts. Take the lift to first floor. Then exit the building, turn left and round the corner of the building, turn left again. Head on straight over a few blocks. After you see 7 eleven on your left, you should see the entrance to the hotel on your left after crossing one more small lane. Then, you can refer to the YouTube online to see the entrance to the hotel. Hotel is efficient, and discreet. If you are busy with an itinerary outside, it is great to come back to a clean, cosy room. Housekeeping is quite rigorous, so much so that I felt compelled to vacate the room to accommodate the housekeeping services. The water pressure is very good and bed is comfortable. Would be good if bathrobes were provided though. Also, please change the teaspoons provided in the room. It does not give a good first impression of the hotel. In all, the hotel satisfied my expectations.
