We visited as a family of five in Aug 2023 for a week. Initial impressions were great, a bag meal on arrival having missed dinner due to our flight. Day one, woke up early, lovely view from our apartment and great weather, food was ok and lots of choices for breakfast. We ate at the pool bar first day which was nice to snack on. The hotel also provides Pizza at 5pm. The three teenagers enjoyed the water sports provided, however I was a little concerned not life jackets were provided. A duo played a nice set in the evening for entertainment. The next three days we had terrible weather, this made us start to look us look at the facilities in the hotel. Although refurbished, the rooms are small, three persons in deluxe room consists of a small camp bed was not ideal. Rooms were cleaned daily, however we were left without loo roll on two days. The lighting in the corridor is not safe, having activated after you walked down the stairs from the second floor. The most shocking thing is the smell from the communal toilets, which clearly haven’t been cleaned in weeks, also walking passed the gents my wife could see men doing a number one which was unpleasant. Massive lack of evening entertainment during the rest of the week, mediocre food, lack of atmosphere and a struggle to find anything to do. The pool table is awful and needs replacing, did not work. Mini club staff were sat on their phones paying no intention to anything. The all inclusive beer an d wine is poor quality and only local top shelf is served after 9pm. The lack of being able to pay for premium drinks on card was also disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Croatia unless you want to go to bed at 9pm

Prendete una suite a due camere per una famiglia con due figli a agosto, all'altezza della stagione. Hotel 3*, ma sicuramente vale il vostro denaro, il livello di servizio è migliore di molti quattro. Caratteristiche: 1) Camere molto piccole (come negli hotel o nei vecchi edifici delle città europee di Hong Kong). Due in camera si muovono strettamente, la valigia può essere completamente sbloccato sul balcone. 2) Il letto libero non è sufficiente per tutti, quindi è necessario prendere posti comodi dalla sera o al mattino. 3) Il personale del bar nella piscina a volte trucco, lavorare senza controlli o vendere bevande a un prezzo più alto di quello nel menu. Inoltre: 1) pulire e curare tutto, compresi le camere, le zone comuni e il territorio intorno all'hotel. La stanza è pulita ogni giorno. 2) una piscina privata grande, abbastanza aperta, anche intorno ci è la propria zona verde sull'erba con le sue ombrelle o in 3) Un buon ristorante con bevande incluse nel costo del colazione e del pranzo. Durante 2 settimane di riposo, non ho avuto tempo per mangiare, cena cambia ogni sera, giovedì giorno della cucina locale. 4) I bambini mangiano pranzo gratis. Per le famiglie con bambini è solo un salvataggio. 5) Un sacco di intrattenimento gratuito tutto il giorno, dallo yoga aquagimnasty e volleyball al discoteca per bambini e spettacolo adulto di notte. 6) Bella spiaggia almeno 1 minuto dall'hotel. Non c'è bisogno di pagare per dormire sulla spiaggia - si può lasciare le cose a dormire nella piscina e andare a nuotare nel mare.

Hotel “Lone” is located in a beautiful park, near the sea, about 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of the picturesque town of Rovinj. The building itself and the interior design of the hotel are a masterpiece of contemporary architecture. Hotel “Lone” is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels on the entire Adriatic coast and the only member of the “Design Hotels” group in Croatia. All public areas of the hotel, as well as the rooms, are extremely spacious, full of light, with minimalist contemporary decoration. All furniture, artwork and staff uniforms are specially designed for the hotel. Hotel “Lone” is designed as a five-star hotel. It has a large congress centre and a magnificent spa, as well as several restaurants. As there are two other very luxurious hotels in the vicinity of this hotel, which belong to the same “Maistra” hotel group, “Lone”, apart from being a congress hotel, is primarily intended for slightly younger guests and families with children. The hotel's ambience and its guests could be described with some of the following words: image conscious, business, casual luxury, wellness. The staff is very professional and efficient. During my stay, I stayed in the Premium Room, which is beautifully decorated, with all amenities. Perhaps the in-room bar offering could be slightly improved. The room also has a balcony with a view of the park. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with “Malin+Goetz” toiletries. The cleanliness is impeccable. Turn-down service is not provided for this type of room, which might be expected from a hotel of this category. As “Lone” is a very big hotel, breakfast can be a bit chaotic, but the staff really tries. The choice of food is very good. In addition, for lunch or dinner the offer of food and drinks in the hotel is diverse: there is a restaurant that specializes in burgers and is also possible to try some classic dishes of Croatian and international cuisine. In addition, the hotel also has a superb Japanese-Asian restaurant “Tekka” with an excellent offer. The wellness area extends to 1,700 square meters. As well as the entire hotel, it amazes with its decoration. Everything is perfectly maintained. Perhaps the only thing that should be provided is a more cosmetics. In short, “Lone” is a phenomenal hotel. If, by any chance, a little more attention was paid to the personalized service, as well as the food and drink offer, the hotel would certainly be one of the best in the Mediterranean.

Arrived here a few days ago. A fairly simple 40-45 drive from Pula Airport (toll roads). Check in was fast & efficient. We were upgraded which was a surprise & a very welcome one! The room is fantastic. It’s more of an apartment than a hotel room with spacious rooms, amazing views & well equipped. The first thing that struck me was how modern the apartment is but also how clean it was. Absolutely spotless. The room has a free safe, a TV with a few English/American channels. Fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine & an abundance of storage! Everything you need for a weeks holiday is provided & we’ve not had to ask for anything since our arrival. If you hire a car there is parking outside every room so no need to worry about leaving your car anywhere. The pool area is large, clean & plenty of Sun loungers (no need for getting up early & reserving beds). The grounds are immaculate. With sea & harbour views almost everywhere. A small pebble beach is available for guests with calm, safe waters. We are half board & the food is really very good. So much choice, cooked fresh at the time of service & tasty. I will say if you’re looking for nuggets & chips etc you’ll be disappointed. Not a chip in sight. But plenty of alternatives & there is fresh pizza every night! The staff are very friendly. The hotel is in a great location just a 5 minute walk into the small harbour town centre of Vrsar which has a small but good selection of restaurants, bars & shops inc. a small supermarket. I desperately want to give this hotel a top score but unfortunately just a couple of very minor criticisms stop me from doing so. Firstly, the beds are a tad uncomfortable for me. I’m sure most people will be fine with them though. Secondly the hotel is very large spread out over a big area. There are quite a few steps & slopes to navigate which might be an issue for some people. There are actually outside escalators which are really welcome at times so don’t think it’s all leg tiring, it isn’t. Lastly I’d have personally liked a small gym. There is one available to guests at a charge in a neighbouring hotel but this isn’t convenient to me personally. Other than those few minor points this hotel is faultless and I will be coming back. One thing we have noticed which isn’t an issue for us, but Brits are very few & far between. If you’re looking to meet new people you may struggle a bit but that could be because it’s out of high season. This hotel is sold through TUI so height of summer might be different.

L'hotel è molto grande con una bella hall e una posizione ottima vicino al mare e un grande parcheggio. Il personale molto gentile e la piscina interna e la palestra sono ben attrezzate. Abbiamo scelto una camera vista mare, il bagno molto bello ma la camera aveva la moquette dove abbiamo trovato delle formiche ( però ho contattato la reception ed è arrivata l'addetta con lo spray) ed essendo solo in 2 non avevamo bisogno di un terzo letto (futon) che occupava molto spazio, il balcone inoltre era davvero piccolo. Avevamo la mezza pensione a buffet e c'era una grande varietà di cibi a scapito della qualità (ma molti cibi venivano riproposti più giorni di fila), mi sarei aspettato di trovare piatti tipici croati invece di una cucina affine al gusto tedesco/austriaco. La cena era su 3 turni ma se arrivavi alle 20.00 alcuni piatti non venivano più riforniti e molti erano freddi. Le bevande erano a parte con prezzi molto alti ( acqua 0,75 a 4,53 euro) come anche i prezzi dei vari bar vicino alla spiaggia del complesso Aminess. Abbiamo avuto l'impressione che sia più adatto ad una clientela tedesca perchè sia il personale sia l'animazione sia le partite erano tutte in lingua tedesca e trasmettevano addirittura la serie B tedesca piuttosto che partite europee più importanti.
