I migliori hotel con spa a Olhos de Água

I first came to this hotel in March 2019 and absolved loved it! I had assumed I had given this hotel a 5 star review as it is one of my favourite places to visit. When looking back I only gave it 4 stars ( to my husbands shock and disgust) At the time I felt the resort didn’t have enough bars and restaurants but I shouldn’t have marked the hotel down for this so I’m writing another review. We loved this place so much we booked to come back the next yr but our holiday was cancelled due to Covid. As soon as we were able to travel we booked straight back up visiting May 2022 and then booked again this yr in March 2023. We will be booking next yr again. I’ve never been somewhere twice before but we will come here every yr as we just love it! The hotel is perched on the most beautiful cliff edge with absolutely stunning sea views. Once you’ve been you will fall in love with the place. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are all so friendly and the food is very good. The resort may not be big but there are a few nice walks you can do and it’s a great base to explore other near by resorts like vilamoura and albuferia. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel but we usually do the 2 hour walk along the beach to Villamoura then get a taxi back. Can’t wait for our next visit

Albergo attento alle misure covid, personale cordiale e abbastanza disponibile. Ottimo il parcheggio gratuito esterno o interno. Piacevole la zona piscine che come in ogni struttura, per la verità, è presa di mira da bambini rumorosi e madri tolleranti. L'animazione era anche piacevole con ragazzi pieni di idee e coreografie piacevoli. La stanza era discreta ma nulla di più tra l'altro con un condizionatore d'aria a volte rumoroso, specie di notte quando vorresti dormire. La colazione a partire dalle ore 8 sino alle 11 è interessante per chi ama dormire tanto, per fortuna in altre strutture aprono alle 7 in modo che chi volesse andare in spiaggia presto non debba attendere le 8 del mattino (precise). La colazione era discreta, anche se mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di più come offerta. La cosa che poi non si può tollerare è un frigorifero in camera che non funzionava per nulla e la spiegazione dell'hotel è stata che vi era un problema diffuso in tutte le camere, e questa sarebbe la spiegazione ufficiale ?! Ho dovuto bere bevande calde per tutta la vacanza perchè l'hotel non aveva alcuna intenzione di rimediare al problema??? Mi è stato detto che un poco funzionava ma non sopporto essere preso in giro, soprattutto quando paghi per una struttura superiore dove queste cose non sono accettabili. E questo sarebbe un hotel a 5 stelle? Credo che se un esperto di accreditamento venisse a fare un controllo non sarebbe male.

Hotel bellissimo che era pulito senza spot. Come una prenotazione completa l'unico accesso al post-pranzo alle 6:00 era cena e si sentiva mancato accesso ai snack in serata. Molto rilassato e messo a posto dove non c'era niente di fretta. Forse qualche.musica in e arou d la piscina.area durante il giorno e l'accesso a più divertimento serale con giochi o alternativa a sciogliere la banda che giocavano sarebbe stato buono. In generale un piacevole soggiorno e amato la dimensione della camera e camminare in doccia.

We booked this hotel for a relaxing break, and that’s pretty much what we got. Our booking included a private transfer from the airport and from the moment we set foot in the hotel we were made to feel special. The checking in process was very straightforward, and although our room wasn’t quite ready due to the early flight, we were offered breakfast while we waited. Our bags were delivered to the room, and we were greeted with a welcome flower, complimentary bottle of water and sweets. Two bottles of water and chocolates subsequently arrived daily, which was a welcome surprise. The room itself is very spacious with a huge and very comfortable bed, TV, plenty of storage including wardrobe with a light, ironing board & iron, fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom forms part of the bedroom with sliding doors for privacy, and includes a lovely bath and walk in shower, plus complimentary toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided for the spa. We didn’t use the aircon so unable to comment on that, but the balcony included a table with two chairs plus a sun lounger. Our room had a distant sea view and overlooked some lovely gardens with resident blackbirds and Iberian Magpies. Pretty sparrows can be seen around the complex, as well as a Hoopoe bird. The hotel is situated in extensive grounds with access to the beach which boasts stunning cliffs. It is well worth visiting the beach, and walking around the headland. Be sure to check out the gardens with the Love Tree, swing seat and secluded loungers. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool. We knew that the weather at the end of March/early April could be unpredictable. As it turned out, we were pleasantly surprised – most days were hot albeit with a degree of breeze. Towels are provided and loungers plentiful. What we didn’t bargain for was the temperature of the outdoor pools – they were freezing! We arrived on the 30 March, and the pools were not heated until our last full day, allowing us to really enjoy the experience. The other disappointing aspect was the lack of vegetarian options for meals. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options for all – cooked breakfast, variety of egg dishes cooked to order, cheeses & cold meats, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread & pastries. We booked half board and dinner was a different story. On the first and second nights I managed to cobble together some dishes to make a meal. I did speak to the restaurant team who were incredibly helpful and attentive for the remainder of our stay. Overall, we loved the hotel. The WiFi is pretty good, there are lifts to every floor, and the hotel is beautifully decorated throughout.

I have just spent a very pleasant five nights at the resort. The setting and pools are really amazing. It is a very short walk to the beach down a large flight of stairs. No problem going down but useful stopping place halfway for coming back up. We had a twin room Which was clean and comfortable, but there are a few issues such as we had ants in the bathroom. The electrics tripped every time we plugged in the kettle and the mini fridge was old and slightly rusty on the front. Had a really comfy night sleep in the beds and the sofa was also very comfortable All fairly minor issues which could be easily improved. Breakfast and lunch were generally very good but the evening meals a little hit and miss. It was our first time going all inclusive so it was strange at first not having to pay for anything, but really good for budgeting. Because we’d come towards the end of the season, the entertainment really wasn’t to our taste, although we seen over the summer that there was some really really good. Looking tribute nights was quite disappointed these were not on whilst we were there. The hotel is a little remote, but there is a daily shuttle bus which alternates between Albufeira and Vilamoura for just one euro per person. Dinner at the grill was excellent. It did need to be booked that morning which could be quite a long queue. If this hotel was rated a three star I would definitely give it five out of five. I’ve never known a four star hotel to charge for kettle hire or exchanging beach towels.

We holidayed here last week with my parents, my siblings and their respective families. We all had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort for the second time. On our first stay in October 2021, we had a large villa with its own private garden and swimming pool with loungers etc which was so relaxing. For our second trip this time around we stayed in two gorgeous spacious apartments in a different area of the resort. It was also a fantastic trip. If we ever didn’t feel like walking to one of the pools or restaurants we called a shuttle bus (which we did a fair few times!) We never waited for longer than five minutes and we were never let down. It was such a nice touch as we could get one straight back to the apartment after dinner. If you do want to walk around, the grounds of the resort are stunning and accessible with a pushchair. I would like to add that we found that all of the staff, especially the housekeeping staff were so friendly and professional. The quality of the food in each restaurant was absolutely excellent. The indoor pool is amazing if you don’t feel like swimming outdoors. The facilities are second to none. Children are welcome throughout the resort which made for a really relaxing atmosphere and we all really enjoyed the birds of prey show together with the reptile show at Porto Pirata. One of my favourite touches is also the cat village which is by the most incredible view of the sea. I am going to recommend the resort once again to friends and family, and we all already cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay.

Una splendida famiglia di due settimane a Pine Cliffs. È stata ospitata in una suite da giardino a 2 camere da letto con due bagni, un bel balcone e buone strutture cucina. Le suite da giardino hanno una bella piscina vicino, ma sono anche abbastanza vicine alle principali aree dell'hotel. Preferito andare alla piscina più grande vicino al ristorante O’Grill per facile accesso al pranzo! Il resort ha bellissimi ristoranti, qualcosa per tutti, ma solo una passeggiata dal resort ti porta ad altri 10 ristoranti - indiano, tapas, italiano, hamburger, ecc se ti piace un cambiamento o vuoi risparmiare qualche denaro! Inoltre, c'è un supermercato proprio al di là dell'ingresso principale. La sabbia Beach si estende per miglia e si può accedere gratuitamente a letti solari attraverso un ascensore o le scale dall'hotel dove si possono prenotare kayacchi, sci da jet, ecc. Il ristorante di spiaggia è un vero trattamento per pranzo o cena. Siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno e la stanza non è pronta fino alle 16:00, che è stato un piccolo inconveniente - ma la prossima volta sarà meglio organizzato per ottenere qualche shorts ecc dal bagaglio per entrare direttamente in modalità vacanza. Chiave per me: elevati standard di strutture, bellissimo servizio, numero di piscine/ ristoranti, vicino accesso alla spiaggia, ma anche facile accesso a ristoranti al di fuori del resort. Mi piaceva anche quanto fosse grande il resort - ci sono voluti qualche giorno per ottenere i nostri artigli e trovare i tagli!

Durante la settimana di mezza settimana di ottobre, abbiamo avuto un appartamento a 2 posti letto nella nuova sezione ”Giardini” del resort Pine Cliff. L'appartamento aveva tutto quello che avevamo bisogno, era davvero moderno, grande posizione vicino alla piscina e non troppo lontano da camminare verso la zona principale del resort, e la custodia di casa ogni giorno era fantastica. La piscina in questa zona era troppo fredda, ma era più come un bagno di ghiaccio. L'intero ristorante è tenuto molto pulito e ha alcune incredibili viste sulle roccia e sulla costa. Ha un lusso La maggior parte delle persone che si sentono come la ricezione delle suite oceaniche e il bar champagne, il principale negativo per noi è che il resort paga chiaramente (supercarichi) per tutto ciò che possono. Per esempio, per prenotare un gruppo di ginnastica per un minimo di 15 euro e per inondare la luce, i tribunali di tennis hanno un'ulteriore tassa di 5 euro (che è superiore a 40 euro per ora)- tutti gli altri 5 stelle che abbiamo soggiornato in questi sono stati inclusi. Quello che pensavo fosse particolarmente ridicolo era che avevo ordinato un'acqua calda con una tazza di limone alla casa del golf club e questo era 4 euro! Abbiamo soggiornato in 5 stelle in tutto il mondo e capisco pienamente pagare un premio alberghiero, ma le tariffe qui erano solo piccole e peggio di quanto abbiamo vissuto anche in luoghi come Dubai.

Our second time in the Algarve and so pleased to have stayed at the pretty Pine Cliffs - think comfort in splendid surroundings. The Ocean Suites are very well designed for privacy and functionality. The kitchen and living room are so gorgeous and perfectly equipped (there is everything you need). So we opt out of breakfast, as it was very easy and only a short morning walk to the nearest shops for fruits and snacks for the children. There is a pool a few steps away from your Ocean Suite. If you stay at the OS you have free access to the spa which is lovely too. We prefer the sea though - and Praia da Falesia is absolutely stunning - it reminded me of Brazil with fun waves and golden sands. In February the sea is cold ( and so clean!) but not a problem for us as we are big fans of cold water. Just wished they had more options on their Beach Restaurant bar menu. The walk to the beach is easy offering a beautiful view of the falesias. My recommendation is to read the website to understand the difference between the residence/Ocean suites and the hotel. The resort has plenty to offer in an elegant relaxing way and their service was really good. You know when you arrive at your hotel room for the first day and everything is spotted on? Everyday, the cleaners were so good that it felt like we had just arrived - the bed, bathroom, kitchen everywhere was organised as if it was our first day there. We dined at the Pescador most of the nights and the food was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We ventured out to Olhos d'agua once but most restaurants are closed in February. We hope to come back next year. Have a good season!
