L'hotel è molto bello, è molto tranquillo e non sembra essere molto popolare tra i viaggiatori che scelgono questa zona. La camera era spaziosa e pulita, il personale era molto cordiale. Il WiFi era fantastico. La colazione era buona. Alcune opzioni per cereali e frutta, caffè e tè, nonché opzioni per pasti cucinati. La posizione non è male ma nemmeno eccezionale. La spiaggia direttamente di fronte all'hotel non è la spiaggia principale, c'è molta alga ma è a soli 10 minuti a piedi lungo la spiaggia fino alla zona della spiaggia più bella. 20 minuti a piedi lungo le strade. Considerando il prezzo per quello che ottieni penso che sia troppo caro, ma in tutta onestà lo sono anche tutti gli altri hotel sull'isola.

Il Double A è un hotel di Nungwi con caratteristiche particolari. Ha un numero non esagerato di camere quindi non è mai troppo affollato e gode di una posizione fenomenale. È veramente sul mare, a 5 metri dall'acqua. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera superior con vista sull'oceano ed addormentarsi e risvegliarsi col rumore delle onde è stato magnifico. La piscina circondata da un bellissimo e curato giardino e tre splendidi alberi di flamboyant è ideale per rinfrescarsi dopo un tuffo nelle acque cristalline e sempre calde dell'oceano i diano. Le camere sono pulitissime, il cibo è ottimo e a prezzi assolutamente onesti ed il personale della struttura è gentilissimo e molto attento al cliente. Il Manager della struttura, un signore indiano, è una persona squisita, sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti e a provvedere ad eventuali necessità. Ho passato una settimana in questa struttura è fare colazione (ottima tra l'altro) e cenare davanti a questo mare meraviglioso è stato bellissimo. La posizione della struttura anche rispetto al centro di Nungwi dove sono presenti tanti ristorantini, locali e negozi locali è strategica perché rimane a 5 minuti di passeggiata, quindi vicina ma non nel caos, tranquilla ma a due passi dalla movida. Ideale per coppie di qualsiasi età, ma scherzi per famiglie con bambini in quanto l'accesso alla spiaggia è comodissimo (basta fare 4 gradini dallo dpazio piscina)il Double A è a mio avviso un hotel straconsigliato ed ha un rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

Amzing view from the hotel right on the beach. Staff are very welcoming, breakfast was good everything in the menu was made fresh.. Excellent location,mkt is very closeby.. Highly recommend this place in Nungwi.. Our special thanks to Mr. Subbaih(Manager) for his excellent management, we would also like to thank Mr. Hamad at the reception for the warm welcome and Mr Emanuel at the restaurant for his kind couteous service. Rooms and bathroom were very clean with proper hot water. We would definetly stay again at Double A on our next visit

Gorgeous views, kind staffs, good food, good location. Perfect vacation stay. It’s right next to the beach so available to all kinds of sea activities. We went on the dolphin tour and it was pretty amazing. The restaurant also has this nice sea view, and the food was very delicious.

The location is perfect. It’s in a quiet area, but yet so close to the beach. Literally just a few steps away. Everyone in the staff has been helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler I always take time to talk to locals, hotel staff, store owners, and whoever I might meet. The pool at the hotel is a bit small but honestly… the ocean is right there, you won’t really need the pool. My room had everything I needed. And an amazing view.

Our stay at Double A Nungwi Hotel in Zanzibar was excellent overall. We were thrilled with our stunning room, which was made even better thanks to a complimentary room upgrade. The views were simply amazing, and the staff did a great job ensuring that vendors didn't hassle us too much during our stay. The restaurant served incredible food, though it was quite slow at times. This was only a problem when we had to catch a taxi home, and breakfast ended up taking an hour. Despite this, the staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. I can't believe the restaurant wasn't busier- we ate there for all of our meals for three days and weren't disappointed! Unfortunately, we did experience a disturbing incident one night. We heard the general manager verbally abusing his staff, yelling and using swear words- perhaps he didn't realize we were sitting outside of our room. It was a horrible experience that left us feeling uncomfortable. When we asked the staff about it the next day, they graciously laughed it off, but it didn’t sit right with us. He also was served (like a king) during the day- it was clear the power dynamic wasn't healthy. We sincerely hope the owner addresses this issue and ensures that such behavior towards the staff changes. Overall, Double A Nungwi Hotel offers a beautiful and enjoyable stay with some areas needing improvement, particularly in terms of management behavior.

This hotel is amazing, the views from the bar and restaurant are breathtaking, the staff are warm and pleasant, with excellent customer service. If you can't relax here, then there is something wrong with you!!! The food service does take a while, but it tastes good, and who cares, just chill and enjoy the view with a cold beer while you wait. I love this place, even in rainy season, it's beautiful. If you are in a hurry.....don't come here, it's not the place for you. But if you want to relax, chill and enjoy the best views on the island from the bar, then this hotel is paradise. I recommend it 100%.

This place is awesome for a budget holiday in Zanzibar. The hotel is small, but it still has a big restaurant with 2 floors and varied menu, swimming pool, billiard, live music and bbq party every Saturday. The main advantage is the restaurant above the sea. No one hotel I've been in my entire life has had view like this, it’s absolutely gorgeous! The staff of the hotel is beyond all praise. Everyone is so pleasant and nice, ready anytime to come and help with anything. I felt like I was the only one and the main guest in entire hotel, which is so nice and indicates the highest level of service. The hotel and rooms are well cleaned, fresh towels are provided every day. The food was great for Zanzibar, but you need to wait 30-40 minutes to get your dish. But we used this life hack: we made an order in advance on particular time, so our dishes were ready when we arrived. Breakfast is the same every day but tasty and warm. We had the best room in the entire hotel, which is 1 minute walk from the beach with the sea view. The ebb and flow of the tides were practically not felt here, that was the main requirement for a vacation for us. My long-awaited vacation was perfect here. My tour guide booked this hotel for me to stay for four days. The staffs are so friendly and super nice. The manager is extremely nice. It locates infront of the beach. The hotel also have a swimming pool. The room is decent, but it's very clean. They provide a variety of foods for breakfast, but I only ate some fruits and two scramble eggs.

The staff was really friendly , they went above and beyond and helped me out to celebrate wife birthday. The view is nice, and the restaurant food was great. The beach was clean. Sometimes electricity was down but not for long time. The hotel room was cleaned daily.
