This is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!

I really enjoyed the experience while here the swift response whenever I called upon some help and best and swift service from two staff who were allocated to serve us in our room is(Irene and Francis who became part of our family during the stay .very warm ,gentle and quick to respond to matters affecting our room)serving Roa Africa group -i would however recommend that the matter regarding flasks be looked into coz most times the team was too cold and we had to request for it to be warmed again.also the lids weren't really appealing for a four star hotel maybe you could look into this. -generally the service was good and my guests are enjoying there stay here. We shall definely come back .

Great service from front desk. They were accommodating to early check-in and slightly late check-out depending on vacancies. Didn't check out the facilities. Breakfast wise was alright. not much varieties though. Anyway we are there to stay in the room. Room is perfectly sized and cozy for us to rest in. Highly recommend to all if you are looking for a hotel in CBD area.

Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

L'ho usato solo durante il viaggio. Sono arrivato all'aeroporto internazionale Jomo Kenyatta in Kenya dopo le 19:30, e il tempo di soggiorno dell'hotel è passato, ma posso entrare. Avrei voluto portarmi al zoo alle sette del mattino successivo, quindi e'una vacanza molto breve, ma il personale non sa niente di me e mi fa bene.Mi preoccupa molto la sicurezza, ma ho chiesto al conducente di portarmi al bancomat vicino. Il colazione è auto-assistente, e il cuoco farà ovale. Tutto è delizioso. La stanza è semplice, ma le strutture sono pulite, voglio rilassarmi un po'di più! Se avessi una possibilita', voglio usarla di nuovo.Ti ringrazio davvero.

My stay at Woodmere was amazing, staff members are all very helpful, Emily and Miriam were always available to help at the reception. Basic snacks and drinks are available at reception only. They are coming up with a RESTAURANT which will make things more convenient for guests. Swimming pool is really good and we enjoyed with family staying at a pool view apartment. Would recommend to everyone who is looking for a great place to stay with family. I would even prefer staying here alone when I come to Nairobi, Kenya next time. They made us feel home away from home . Thanks to everyone at Woodmere serviced apartment.

Mentre non potevo mancare il personale o l'alloggio, il cibo lasciava molto da desiderare, ho sollevato la mia delusione per il personale superiore, ma mi sono rammaricato della mancanza di risposta, eccetto per un email. Non c'è faccia a faccia, anche se ho fatto me stessa disponibile durante il mio soggiorno. Anne e la sua squadra, il ristorante all'aperto, erano terribili e hanno davvero cercato di scoprire e correggere le questioni, ma l'unica risposta orale che ho avuto è: ”La cucina la ripara nel tempo quando si prende il nuovo menu”. A mio avviso, se la squadra di cucina non è in grado di accelerare con il nuovo menu / piatti, gli ospiti non dovrebbero essere considerati come gusti, pagando per il privilegio di determinare la capacità del personale di cucina di ricreare i nuovi piatti di menu. Mi piace davvero stare in questo hotel, ma voglio aspettare i miei pasti senza quasi sentirmi imbarazzato di commentare. Sono grato a Anne per il suo interesse per ascoltare un feedback onesti. Spero che la direzione superiore la ascolti, a mio parere è un credito per La compagnia e loro hanno bisogno di sentirla. Io ancora apprezzo molto questo hotel, ma ha alcune questioni da affrontare.

The hotel is very clean and looms very nice. The staff is very friendly, respectful and always willing to help. The rooms are average level of luxury, but everything is clean and well arranged. The pool is spotless and the spa/gym area are spacious and big (although haven't tried the services. The hotel helps with on the spot tours and transport to and from the city if going out in the evenings. The food at the restaurant is delicious (had breakfast and dinner) and the service very good. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
