My daughter and I had an incredible 6-day stay at Sunwing Kamala, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff who made our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Montri and Sateens at the front desk, who went above and beyond by offering us a stroller and assisting with a room upgrade. Yuyah Mon and Myra at the kids’ club were fantastic—they not only took excellent care of my 4-year-old daughter but also remembered each child’s name and preferences. My daughter absolutely loved spending time at the kids’ club every day, and she misses them so much now that we’re back home. The swimming pool bar staff were equally wonderful, always greeting me with a smile and remembering my drink preferences, making every moment by the pool relaxing and enjoyable. Even the bellboy who assisted us was a delight, greeting us warmly every time he passed by. This team truly made us feel at home with their kindness and care, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Sunwing Kamala for families looking for a warm, welcoming, and relaxing vacation!

Excellent place where quiet in Phuket ! The beach is beautiful! You can have horse riding just at the beach! The food was nice near the hotel! We even saw fireworks at night ! Excellent ! Must come back

Overall: It is a budget hotel but it offers great value for what you pay. It does well on the important things but average or below average on finer details. Great: - The beach is not crowded and fairly clean. Don't have to worry too much about hawkers. - The swimming pools on offer are huge and very enjoyable for kids with fun activities and lots of space. - The kitchen offers good quality food at good prices for dinner. - They have nightly shows and daytime activities that my kids really had fun with. Good: - The breakfast buffet, while lacking in choices, is good. - The room is large and offers enough sleeping arrangements for a family of four. - Air conditioning in room works well. - Service is generally good. Friendliness is only average for what you would expect in Thailand. Bad: - Lack of air conditioning in the dining area is problematic considering we want to be there for the good food and the shows. - It is a buggy resort with ants and mosquitoes throughout including the rooms. Be prepared to use repellent. - This may be a problem throughout Phuket as transportation costs to other partso of Phuket is significant.

Location ok near to the beach. Room interior and facility seems old a bit, but restaurant and FO service doing good, overall satisfy.

Great Hotel in a great location right on the beach. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices. So many different swimming pools within the complex caters for all. Short walk to restaurants, shops. Would stay here again

We stayed as a family of 4 from 18 to 22 Dec 2023. This family friendly hotel is amazing! It has EIGHT swimming pools and a massage place next to the pool. Kids can swim while you have a relaxing massage of your choice. The hotel also has easy access to the beach. Staff were all friendly and in particular Monte is superb. He gave us a map and recommended shops/restaurants nearby on our first day. Thanks to him we had a lay of the land and were able to easily find shops/restaurants that were good and cheap. We rented a car as it is easier to go around. You can walk to a night market nearby and some shops/restaurants but we preferred to drive. The breakfast buffet was reasoanably good. We enjoyed our stay, kids couldn't get enough of the pool. Our 8 year old son also played some football with the other guests. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect hotel for families - service was amazing and proximity to a great, calm, kid-friendly beach was great.

Lots of swimming pools with slides for children. The amenities are great. Safe environment for children to move and play on their own. Improvemenrmts could be done to the cleanliness and freshness of toilets.

Family friendly hotel, many pools and clubs for kids and teens. Very near to beach and eateries. Hotel was clean and spacious.

Studio mountain view at the main building where the breakfast is (room 1209) has the bad air conditioning smell - it really stinks. The drain in the shower doesn’t work properly — a lot of water that doesn’t go away. I asked the reception to fix it or change the room but they didn’t do anything. When you don’t use the ac there’s no smell. They didn’t give free water every day - only 1 bottle instead of 2. The breakfast is okay, a lot of selection. The beach is nice.

See the occupancy rate year round and you would know how popular this hotel is. One of the best hotels around in Phuket for families with kids. A 4 star hotel with a 5 star rating in terms of price, service, accommodation, F & B, location and activities. A heaven for kids and family resort to go for in Phuket.

Very relaxing place to stay. Definitely will stay here again. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of choice. The staff are polite friendly and helpful. Well done !

Sunwing is a well designed hotel for families that have 5 swimming pools and offer different family activities for different times. The location is great and just next to Kamala beach. You can find the restaurant easily near the hotel. The room looks renovated during the COVID as it looks nice and new. The space is for sure good too. Improvement: As said, the hotel has been spent on renovation, but I do not understand why the hotel did not keep the way to the hotel in good condition, it is a very bumpy road to the hotel. I think the hotel needs to fix that especially for the hotel image. Also, the hotel might consider replacing a nicer hair dryer and it looks a bit small and old.
