LLeandraBeautiful newly opened hotel with very nice staff providing excellent service!
We stayed at the Moon Boutique Hotel for one night while visiting Cat Ba island. The hotel is very well located on the town's main street and all sights on the island are easily accessible from this point.
The room was large, stylishly decorated and had a very comfortable bed.
Our favorite part of the hotel however was the staff! They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and have a nice time on the island! They provided us great information about activities, prepared excellent welcome drinks and breakfast and always had a smile on their face. It was also very nice to see how well they worked as a team! Definitely the best hotel on Cat Ba!

The room has a huge bed, good bathroom. Cleaning service was good. Towels for the beach are provided. The breakfast was good and had a big enough variety (pancakes, bacon, egg, fried noodles and rice, pho, fruits and juices, …)
The extra services were also really helpful. We did laundry service (40k per Kilo), booked a scooter (100k per day), booked a day boat cruise for the bay and our bus back to Hanoi directly at the reception without any trouble.
The reception manager had good enough English and was really helpful. He gave us a cold drink when we arrived and gave us a short intro into the surroundings. We also got extra water and juice when we once waited in the lobby. Thanks!
Also the rest of the staf was friendly and helpful.
The also tried the best to support us: when we were not super happy with the boat tour (did not fully match the description) he dealt with the company and gave us a good discount. Also when we had the scooter only for a few hours, he gave us 50% off.

L'hotel è situato in una zona tranquilla, che ha offerto un ritorno tranquillo dopo un giorno di esplorazione del bellissimo ambiente. La posizione è perfetta, a pochi passi dalla piazza e vicino alla spiaggia di Cat Co, rendendolo conveniente per la vista e godere delle attrazioni locali.
La stanza che mi sono fermata era spaziosa e pulita, con una vista stupenda dal balcone e dal caffè al tetto. Il personale dell’hotel era eccezionale, erano amichevoli, attenti e si sono spostati per assicurarsi che il mio soggiorno fosse comodo, hanno aiutato a organizzare il trasporto da Hanoi a Cat Ba e persino a organizzare un fantastico viaggio di giorno per me a Ha Long Bay.
La colazione dell'hotel era piacevole con una varietà di opzioni disponibili, tra cui uova di qualità deliziose, e l'atmosfera generale dell'hotel si sentiva benvenuta e accogliente, rendendo il mio soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Raccomando vivamente View Point Anh Quan Hotel a chiunque cerca un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole a Cat Ba!

FFelixConveniently located, we picked this hotel to do a one day boat trip to Alan Ha bay and a day in the National parc. Mattress was comfortable, room was clean and breakfast was good. The whole street was under big construction so it was noisy and dusty. Better to double check with the hotel to make sure roadwork is complete. Suggestion : 1. change body wash and shampoo as the one provided in our room smell bad, 2. Partner with a better motorbike rental company : we rent 2 different scooters through the hotel, both were in poor condition (damaged tyres, poor brake, empty tank, engine failure, smelly helmet)

UUtente ospiteHo avuto una bella e meravigliosa natura. Così inizialmente ho pianificato di rimanere solo due giorni, ma non potevo aiutare, ma di ampliare altri due giorni. Ogni giorno sono tornato con stanchezza, ma potevo essere raffreddato abbastanza in hotel Cat Ba Green. Ora vorrei davvero poter tornare nel prossimo futuro e, se così fosse, vorrei rimanere qui senza esitazione.

UUtente ospiteThe price is not very high. The room is not big, but clean and tidy. We accommodated a family of 4 without any problems. Cleaning as it should be every day. You need to walk to the beaches 25 minutes, but the road goes along the central street of the city, along the sidewalks. The guy from the reception was the most memorable. He participated in solving all our issues quickly and efficiently, gave various useful tips. For myself, I also noted that it is important that he speaks English well and clearly. In Vietnam, many speak English, but with a melody peculiar to their language and it was often difficult for me to understand them. There is no such problem here.

Unfortunately we did not do any excursions as we were there for a short time and most of them were a full day tour. Also keep in mind that the small town is under construction along the water so unfortunately you have to walk a decent amount away or rent a motorcycle to see any views.

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

BBec TryonThe hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
