Hotel in zona Koonung Creek Linear Park, Melbourne

Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities. The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. A partire dalle 10:00, un adolescente strano ha colpito la porta della stanza e ha cercato di accedere alla stanza. Ho contattato la ricezione, poi questi adolescenti parlavano e facevano rumore annoiante fuori dalla stanza fino a circa 1:00, e sono andato a letto. La seconda mattina, quando mi sono reclutato al ricevimento, l'ospite di livello si lamentava che i ragazzi giocassero alla porta fino alle 2.

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

Good service, great location within CBD, close to Southern Cross and Flinders stations, within free tram zone too. The bed was comfie enough, room small, dated and needed a lick of paint and fridge really noisy. Even at 5 storeys up you can hear traffic, especially sirens. BUT, I wouldn't let that put you off, IF you simply need an affordable base to go explore etc.

Great hotel close to city center near Coles and Southern Cross station, very convenient. There is a swimming pool, sauna room, steam room, arcade, and gym for all guests to use for free. Rooms are clean and spacious, but the heating can be improved. Amenities are provided in the bathroom.

Took my grandsons for an overnight getaway. They loved the pool, streaming channels and watching the trams below. Generous size room and all the amenities we needed. Short distance from Southern Cross. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.

Sono interstatale per le attività commerciali su base regolare e ho soggiornato in molti luoghi di alloggio ben classificati, tuttavia, impegnato a trovare qualcosa da criticare in questo hotel. Il personale è sorprendente - niente è troppo difficile, fanno tutte le piccole cose, oltre e oltre ciò che mi aspetto che ti faccia sentire come un ospite speciale. Tutti sembravano ”colpiti a mano” per adattarsi alla cultura di servizio dell'hotel. La qualità e la pulizia delle strutture sono A1. Le camere sono confortevoli e tranquille. Un piccolo tavolo e sedie, divano e TV enorme sono una caratteristica benvenuta. Le strutture di conferenza funzionavano bene. La sala di conferenza, la sala colazione e il bar Bistro/cocktail intimati offrono cibo e bevande di qualità. Il mio partner è disabilito in una sedia a rotelle e tutte le sue esigenze erano ben soddisfatte e veramente soddisfatte in una stanza standard. Solo una suggerimento - sarebbe bello avere un impianto di fermature magnetiche, quindi la porta resterà aperta mentre passa con la sedia a rotelle o i sacchetti.Grazie, team Marriott, saremo sicuramente indietro :)

Siamo arrivati a Melbourne da Sydney alle 8 di lunedì 10, con l'intenzione di rimanere in un appartamento che abbiamo prenotato. Non potevamo stare in questo appartamento particolare perché non era al nostro piacere e non era sicuro perché avevamo 4 figli con noi. Abbiamo cercato di trovare appartamenti alternativi e siamo arrivati all'Hotel Nesuto. Abbiamo chiamato e chiesto se potessimo guardare l'appartamento prima di prendere una decisione, perché volevamo assicurarci che fosse sicuro per i nostri figli. Il manager Krisha ha accettato di guardare. Siamo stati impressionati e prenotati 2 camere d'albergo. Krisha e il suo staff erano sorprendenti e molto attenti. Ha visto quanto siamo stressati e voleva che siamo felici. Il giorno dopo, ha chiamato la mia stanza per vedere se mi sentivo bene, ha visto quanto ero agitato e stressato. Posso solo dire che sono stati i migliori hotel che abbiamo mai visitato. I letti erano molto comodi, le camere erano molto pulite e era vicino al trasporto pubblico. Ma il meglio di tutto era che il personale era molto attento e gentile. Raccomando molto questo hotel.
