Spent 10 nights here and I had a normal experience. Some things I noticed: Guest would come late at night and I would hear running sounds or heavy steps but I can still sleep because I’m a heavy sleeper. The pots and pans are old, I clean them every time I use and but they really could have given a proper srub? There were enough utensils, plates, pots and pans for us both. The cleaner was kind and would have came in to clean everyday and changed our towels too if I didn’t put the do not disturb sign, but I hope they vacuum under the bed cus …. Yeah It’s not the most hygienic place especially for the entrance and where it’s situated but it’s definitely cheaper than other options I found. I found the elevator card thing a bit frustrating - but one thing that did annoy me was when I left my power card on in the room because I put some meat in the fridge, but it was taken out after room service so my food went bad. Also there isn’t a view for my room. Excuse the pics quality cus I screenshot it from my video

Assassinante, un hotel recentemente rinnovato, a circa 30 minuti al di fuori del CBD di Melbourne. Hotel pulito, ben prezzi con camere climatizzate molto comode. Inoltre, includeva una bevanda benvenuta, una sorpresa inaspettata. L'hotel è a soli 150 metri dalla stazione ferroviaria. L'hotel dispone di un ottimo bistro per pranzo e cena. Le strutture in bagno condivise sono anche super pulite e ben mantenute.

Stato qui il 3 e 4 giugno.. Nuovo hotel, così come previsto, pulito e ben mantenuto.. La camera era molto piccola, ma il letto era molto comodo ( due re singola si sono spinti insieme),la camera era una grande dimensione con una doccia grande, che aveva una mano con la testa, così come la testa piovana.Nessuna guardia,ma aveva una ferrovia con circa 6 vestiti.. Connie, che era al di fuori del dipartimento, era sorprendente, molto utile e niente era molto problematico.Molto facile.e senza saldatura check-in.. L'hotel era grande, una pietra gettata al Vic Market, e ristoranti. In futuro saremo di nuovo, e consigliamo questo hotel ... 2 pollice in alto ...👍👍

Choosing Dorsett for my first journey to Australia. Price is rather okay since it is winter. Dorsett located in the city center，which is about a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Bus Station. There is a model car placing right beside the front door. Front desk receptionists are friendly and it took only couple of minutes to check in. 200 Australian dollar is required as deposit，either by credit card or cash. The room is about 30 square meters，which is big enough for two person. Facilities are fine，but neither disposable items （toothbrush，slipper）nor drinking water were provided. City view could be seen from the window. Swimming pool is at the 7th floor. Housekeeping service of 10 Australian dollar is included in the room price and is refundable for those who do not need it. Food delivery is available but could only be place at the lobby. Remember to take your room key at night in case the front door is locked after certain period. Checking out is also fast and luggage storage service is provided. Overall，living in Dorsett is a good experience.

I had a great experience at MCB! This hostel is greatly located- a 3 minute walk from the sky bus station (which is exactly what you want coming from a flight!) and in the CBD. When I arrived I was really tired and wanted a nap straight away. My room wasn't ready as I was earlier than the check in time but the receptionist made sure to notify me as soon as the room was ready which I really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offer free breakfast 07:00-11:00 I believe? I appreciated this every day. My room was clean and so were the facilities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Viaggiando come gruppo di 2 madri e 2 figlie (adolescenti tardi), l'appartamento di 2 BR è stato perfetto, l'appartamento è pulito, luminoso, spazioso e semplicemente confortevole. Indubbiamente riutilizzaremo. Il personale era attento e amichevole, e mi chiamava persino qualche giorno prima del nostro soggiorno per chiedere le configurazioni del letto, se avessimo bisogno di un parcheggio e qualche altro dettaglio.

This is a really good quality hotel in a nice part of Melbourne. We are Accor Plus members but this night was booked using Emirates points. Accor still gave us a a top floor room with a stunning view and the usual free drink vouchers, which I didn't expect since I didn't book with them. The room was clean with the aforementioned good view and had every thing you need for a short stay. Improvements would be a coffee machine instead of simply a kettle, and a better Chromecast as the one we had just wouldn't work. These are minor issues though. Lifts were very slow, as only one seemed to be operating. Breakfast was efficient and tasty, although the included coffee could be improved and the extra charge coffee was too cold to be enjoyable. All in all an excellent hotel to stay at if you need to stay in the South Wharf end of Melbourne, and we will certainly stay again.

A really nice hostel, with a lot of sympathicly supporting program. But: in the little things unfortunately more appearance than reality. The rooms lack ventilation/air conditioning. The protective curtains are mostly torn out. Cleaning in the corners is sporadic. The kitchen is cleaned too irregularly, so that food remains dry in all places. The shower does not provide a constant water temperature and brown mold forms. The staff is generally quite nice, but room for improvement is nevertheless also. The Selina Hostel brand can improve it, and better.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un bel ristorante. L'interno è molto pulito e grande. Il letto è comodo e il bagno è buono con i jacuzzi. Vederete cangurosi e cocktail fuori dal cottage in mattina e sera. I miei figli godono molto del soggiorno. Tuttavia, è necessario cucinare i propri pasti o andare a mangiare. La guida è circa 15 minuti.

JJesse YuenSingle person manned the reception so it took 20min to check in with 3 groups in front of me. I had an accessible room which felt strange because the proportions were different but not a problem. There were some stains on the mirror. It was obvious what they were. Use your imagination. ThBreakfast was great. Just walk in and grab a table. Really good location. 3min walk from Southern Cross where the Skybus drops you off.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Melbourne near the Spanish Quarter, Bourke Street Mall, and other shopping precincts. The staff are friendly and efficient at check-in. The rooms are good in size with modern amenities and comfortable beds. There is a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, so if you have mobility issues, it's not for you. There is no rail to hold onto when getting in or out, which makes it dangerous, especially as it gets slippery. There is a pool and gyn which were modern and accessible. The room we had faced into the mezzanine of the hotel so you dont get any light from outside, which was strange. The room was very quiet and had a good air conditioner. Overall, we would stay here again, although the lack of being able to see outside wasn't ideal, and if you stayed for more than one night, it could be an issue.

Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

CCarvWe booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors. The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future. Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask. The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too. The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table. PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.

Ci sono camere molto migliori intorno a circa 200 dollari o più. Ci siamo trasferiti 4 notti e abbiamo prolungato un altro - un sabato. (Famiglie in prossimità). Il signore ha detto $120 per la notte extra, ma quando ho ricevuto la mia dichiarazione, era $189! Allora mi è reso conto che mi era stato imputato anche per venerdì. Rieducato in contatto e andare e non disturbare la ricetta. In questo momento, questi prezzi non sono eccessivamente elevati - per un stabilimento ragionevole. Anche se nella stanza le basi erano ragionevoli, la stanza aveva un tostapane e microonde, ma non ci sono piatti di pane o cuttery, solo piccole bowling. Chiesto al ricevimento e si è dato qualche cucina e bolle di pasta.Grande per il toast! A quanto pare la gente continua a rubarli o a romperli. Quindi, caricali e avere qualcosa di ragionevole per la gente ragionevole! La porta non si stava aperta nemmeno senza un colpo con la spalla e poi si era catturata solo per millimetri. UUtente ospiteI stayed at the Sheraton because it was surprisingly cheap for the location and star rating. I soon found out why. The sleep quality was not the best - I woke up with a head and neck ache one night and painful for dry eyes the next. The check out experience took the cake though. I was told that “for security reasons” they can only take chip-and-pin payments with a physical card. I was also told this was “standard for all Marriott hotels”. These are blatant lies: I have used tap payments at Marriott hotels on five continents, most recently at a Marriott in Australia just last year. Tap and pay hadn’t gotten less secure since 2022! I’m so used to paying on the phone I’d forgotten the PIN on the physical card. After some arguing I was allowed to swipe-and-sign. So secure! What offends me isn’t so much the backwardness, but the lies to dress up the backwardness as a benefit rather than just cheapness. Never again. Oh and I’m here posting this review again because it turns out negative reviews don’t get passed through to Tripadvisor.
