Siamo stati alla Mariposa per 7 notti con formula mezza pensione. Camere spaziose, pulizia discreta, letto gigantesco, presenza di cucinino. Nota negativa: solo 1 asciugamano in bagno a testa. Disponibilità di teli mare ogni giorno. Spazi esterni ben curati. Personale eccezionale. La colazione e la cena vengono serviti al ristorante/bar dell’albergo (il Korail rouge) che si trova sulla spiaggia: colazione a buffet varia con cuoco a disposizione per preparare le uova a piacimento; cena varia e genuina ogni giorno, con incluso stuzzichino, antipasto, piatto e dessert (bevande escluse). Cura nel servizio e spesso anche musica dal vivo (chitarra acustica). Bar aperto tutto il giorno con varietà di selezione di cocktail e bevande sia alcoliche che non. Spiaggia privata piccola ma ben tenuta, con ombrelloni, sdraio e pouf a disposizione degli ospiti. Parcheggio disponibile, ma spesso pieno. Disponibilità di gite ed escursioni nell’isola organizzate dalla struttura.

Siamo stati accolti dalla gentilissima Davina, che con il suo fare affabile ci ha illustrato dettagliatamente tutto il resort ed aiutato nel check-in. Camera spaziosa e pulita con personale disponibile in ogni richiesta.Per quanto riguarda il cibo, tutto di primissima qualità e menu assortito ogni giorno. Grazie a tutti per l’ospitalità ed un arrivederci alla prossima vacanza a Mauritius.

Anisha was the most friendliest and attentive of the food and beverage servers which I encountered during my stay . She was probably the only member who presented her name while serving me. She recommended items on the sushi menu that did not disappoint. Anisha definitely made my stay memorable although it was business related, The breakfast selection is good but the hot selection during this service is a bit cold. The room was comfortable but smelled of smoke although im not a smoker. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable.

Albergo ottimo per spezzare l'inverno italiano. La natura è bellissima. La spiaggia ben attrezzata. Le camere ampie, luminose e pulite. Il tutto incluso è la formula migliore. Deepak è la persona che vi può aiutare sul posto. Gentile e presente. Chef Vikash e Dino sono a vostra disposizione.

Abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia di tre. La posizione è molto conveniente per esplorare vicinanze come il Grand River Sud-Est e Trou d'Eau Douce. Anche a differenza di altri alloggi comparabili EvaZion offre sia colazione che cena. I proprietari sono molto utili, grazie alle raccomandazioni del signor Laverdure siamo riusciti a godere di una bella passeggiata (circa 6 chilometri) che ci porta profondamente in campi di canna da zucchero verso una caduta d'acqua. Su richiesta, i proprietari possono anche organizzare strutture come il cayak e il viaggio in barca fino al fiume Grand Sud-Est. Non si poteva chiedere di più: per il suo prezzo, EvaZion offre un grande valore per i soldi. Ci sono anche una piscina che gli ospiti possono usare, così come un hammock e le banche sulla banca del fiume dove si può rilassarsi. Siate attenti a qualche cosa: il calore e l'umidità che possono essere estremamente disturbanti nei primi mesi dell'anno e la presenza di moschi. I visitatori devono prendere tutte le precauzioni usuali contro questi (cappelli, cappucci, pannolino, mosquito ribelle).

The complex is a local architectural gem, beautifully situated, integrated into nature and the beach. First-class construction. The people who work here make an alert, motivated and very friendly impression. The regular service procedures work well. As is often the case in Africa, special requests require a little patience and several attempts. We found the breakfast varied and good, although the fruit was only second quality on 6 out of 8 days. It was only when the resort owner arrived that the fruit was first class 😉. In the evening, the buffet was ok and some dishes in the Asian restaurant were very good. However, it is worth exploring restaurants outside the resort in the evening. The excursions organised by the hotel (South Island, snorkelling tour) were great fun. The massage at the spa was very good. Taxis are relatively expensive, but in our case the drivers were very reliable. Anyone hoping that the air conditioning will cool the room to below 21 degrees Celsius (70 Fahrenheit) will be disappointed, as this did not seem feasible in our case. At least a fan provides some cooling.

Posizione stupenda, con pochi bungalow a 2 piani praticamente sulla spiaggia, il resort è perfetto per una vacanza spartana, ma senza farsi mancare nulla. La zona comune dispone di piscina con bar e negozietto, solarium, angolo the, spa, ristorante ( alcuni giorni alla carta, altri a buffet), ristorantino tipico mauritiano (solo le sere di lunedì, mercoledì e venerdì prenotando). Quasi tutte le sere musica dal vivo Tutti i giorni parte la navetta gratuita per l’isola dei cervi, 2 volte al mattino e 2 rientri al pomeriggio, dove ci sono le migliori spiagge di Mauritius. La distanza dall’aeroporto è di circa un’oretta, perché le strade sono strette e si procede lentamente. Questo capita anche se volete fare un tour, quindi non si riesce a visitare tutta l’isola in un solo giorno, ne servono almeno 2. Lo staff è disponibile e gentilissimo. La pulizia molto buona. Le camere sono dotate di aria condizionata e accessori, oltre che di bollitore e piccolo frigo. Forniscono giornalmente i teli da mare. L’unico inconveniente, che ho segnalato, è che dopo le 17 non arriva acqua calda in camera, motivo per cui non ho dato il punteggio massimo.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!

Ho trascorso un soggiorno fantastico in questo hotel. La posizione era magnificamente posizionata sulla costa orientale dell'isola. Ottimi panorami della spiaggia. Ma la cosa veramente eccezionale di questo posto era il personale. Senza dubbio il cuore e l'anima del luogo. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque vada a Mauritius di soggiornare in questo hotel.
