Central Beach Inn has a bunch of different room types at different price points. We stayed in the deluxe balcony with AC. Overall the room was ok and a decent size. My friend had issues with the bathroom door since it is very short and he is 6’1” (he hit his head several times). The room has a sort of colonial romantic feel with dark wood furniture and a four-poster bed with white mosquito netting. Standard amenities – WiFi, safe, small fridge, overhead fan, mini bar (electric kettle and coffee/tea), and toiletries. The steps to the balcony were very steep with a higher than normal rise and were shared with one other unit. A basin with water was on the landing for the stairs so that you could wash off sand from your feet. A gate was at base of the stairs. Breakfast was not included, and we did not eat at the restaurant. We did not have the room serviced while there by choice, but I think you have to ask if you want it cleaned. Comparison time: We stayed at two places in Mirissa Beach – Central Beach and Dream Palace. The two hotels are back-to-back with Central taking the beachfront and Dream Palace taking the street front. They both have their pros and cons. The rooms were significantly nicer and cleaner at Dream Palace, but I liked mattress better at Central as it was a little less hard. Both places had the same room amenities. You hear the music from the beach nightclubs at Central whereas you get the early morning beeping and bread-tuk tuk music from the street at Dream Palace (although the rear rooms are much quieter). Central is beach front and Dream Palace means that you walk through another hotel, for which the gates may all be locked after 1:00 am (be warned!). You will have to climb stairs at Dream Palace, but you can get a ground level room at Central. The service was significantly better and much more friendly at Dream Palace (family run) compared to the more business feel of Central. Central has a full restaurant and Dream Palace does not. The WiFi was somewhat stronger at Central and allowed for internet phone calls. Dream Palace is more budget friendly since it is not beachfront. As for Mirissa Beach itself, the beach is beautiful! The waves are very large and consistently frequent which means they may not be good for children or those who do not like to get batted around by waves. However, there is an area at the end of the beach by Parrot Rock with very gentle small waves that is good for kids. The beach is very busy all of the time and people come here for the nightlife. At least one restaurant a night turns into a club with a dj (until 3 or 4 am). At one end of the beach, they will put out these lit up frames that kind of look like giant eggbeaters out front of the bar that will be the club that night. They also have live music earlier in the evening at some of the other places. Mirissa Beach is a good central location on the south shore to make quick trips to Weligama (surfing) and Matara (city), and longer trips to Unawatuna

2023.9.30 Sono venuto all'hotel weligama di Cape alle due pomeriggio. Questo hotel è sul cimitero, uno dei tre hotel del gruppo Roland Shan, Sri Lanka. A volte si può vedere il pesce di mare dall'hotel in novembre a aprile. La posizione è buona, un po'come l'hotel Baogli di Liu, ma non è così grande come Baogli, il servizio è in generale.La cena è basilare per mangiare dall'hotel, non è economico, e la colazione è molto ricco. È interessante vedere il cibo e il cibo dall'hotel. Recentemente è arrivato un biologo, che può portare i bambini a raccogliere foglie per osservare tutti gli animali.Ma questo hotel vive anche una volta, e non vive più dietro.

Questo hotel era in una posizione molto bella. Avevamo accesso alla spiaggia direttamente attraverso il retro dell'hotel. Poi si può camminare lungo e raggiungere la spiaggia principale. Il personale è stato utile quando il potere nella nostra stanza non funzionava. Ci siamo trasferiti in una nuova stanza. Che si è rivelato molto meglio perché la prima stanza era infestata da anatre. Anatre in tutto il bagno, ingoiate, e sul pavimento lungo le pareti. Grande posizione, ma assicuratevi di controllare le anatre.

La villa Peacock è la più affascinante bnb che abbia mai avuto il piacere di visitare. The owners see to all the most thoughtful touches: bikes for guest’ use; games, books, and a piano in the lobby; a map highlighting the routes to the beach; bug spray, medicine, and other essentials available... the list goes on. La colazione era incredibile, e il loro caffè ghiaccio era il migliore che abbia mai provato. Ero a Mirissa solo per una notte, ma mi hanno lasciato andare in ritardo, per poter fare il meglio della mia giornata sulla spiaggia. I proprietari del padre e del figlio erano così gentili e hanno dato grandi raccomandazioni per nuotare a Turtle Bay e lezioni di surf a Surf’Lana a Weligama. Vorrei solo poter stare più a lungo! Molto consiglia a chiunque cerca una casa lontano da casa a Mirissa 🦚❤️ PS Tutti gli altri fornitori di servizi in Sri Lanka mi hanno chiesto di esaminarli, ma Peacock Villa non ne ha bisogno. Il loro servizio parla per se stesso.

Abbiamo fatto un gruppo di 10 persone in questo hotel per un soggiorno di notte. L'hotel è un hotel boutique e una gemma. Da quando abbiamo controllato il personale erano molto ospite e utile. Abbiamo controllato tardi, ma ci hanno mandato un snack per accoglierci. Le camere e i bagni sono di buona dimensione e la suite è bella. Alcuni camere hanno bisogno di un po 'di manutenzione (switch non funziona / sedile igienico) ma altri molto buono. Abbiamo avuto una visita di osservazione di balena la mattina prima di andare a controllare e hanno chiesto un controllo tardivo. Ci hanno dato due camere per tenere tardi, così potremmo rifrigerci prima di partire. Finalmente, lo abbiamo fatto. È necessario tenere le camere, ma è stato un bel gesto. L'hotel ha un bel colazione. La maggior parte del gruppo non ha colazione, ma coloro che hanno detto che era molto buono e il servizio era buono. Molto consigliare questo hotel a Mirissa. 👍 grazie al personale.

Ce petit hôtel d'une dizaine de chambres est tenu par le patron et sa femme, tous deux très sympathiques. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la plage, dans une rue perpendiculaire à la rue principale, donc beaucoup plus calme!! Les chambres sont immenses, idem pour le lit XXL, au moins 2m20 de largeur! Très grande terrasse également... Le petit déjeuner est complet: toast avec beurre et confiture, omelette, thé ou café, salade de fruits ou jus de fruits frais selon les jours, du fromage blanc, et même de délicieuses crêpes au chocolat ou à la banane... Il y a beaucoup d'espaces par rapport au petit nombre de chambres, et c'est très bien comme çà. Le patron est exceptionnellement serviable, il sait toujours répondre à la moindre demande, il peut vous changer l'argent à un bon taux.... Tout était donc parfait !!!
