Hotel in zona Northern Quarter, Manchester

They sold our room and tried to make us rebook and pay again!! We booked 2 x double rooms for 3 nights and paid in full when booked (12th - 15th April). I requested adjacent rooms. Our flight got cancelled so 2 of us were unable to stay the first night. Our daughter travelling from elsewhere and arrived at the hotel the first night, 12th April, checked into one room and told them the situation and confirmed that we would be arriving the next day, 13th April. We arrived, tried to check in and the lady on reception said that our booking was for 12th and this was 13th so we would have to make a new booking and pay again!! I said no, I booked and paid for 2 rooms for 3 nights. She said because we didn't arrive on 12th our booking was cancelled. I said no it was not as our daughter checked in and told them the day before. I insisted I would not be rebooking and asked to speak to a manager. She eventually checked with a manager and said we could have a room. This was 3 floors down from our daughter and not what I'd booked. They had basically resold my room. I was glad to get a room but not impressed with their service. It was atrocious that I had paid £500+ for the booking but due to circumstances outwith my control - the flight being cancelled - they did not keep our room for us. They were informed of the situation and my daughter was staying there as part of the booking. They are not to be trusted. I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the AO arena, within easy walking distance of the arena, the Printworks, and the Arndale centre. Nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the price, however, it gets very busy at peak times.

Hotel was perfect and had so much room, bed was really comfy as well. Only downfall was we had the room that looked directly on to the building site over the road and the works started from around 7am but we were not made aware of this at check in, when I advised the reception desk about this they gave us a late check out for our last night which was lovely of them.

The room was of a great standard l. The bed was soft and you are able to have a lovely night's sleep. The bath was an added bonus! The location in the northern quarter of Manchester is good. At Christmas time you are close to the markets and festive vibe! You are just short walk from lots of shops and there are plenty of bars and eateries around too! Overall, it was a great place for a short city trip away.

Selina è stata semplicemente perfetta. Un'accoglienza molto amichevole all'arrivo, disponibile e felice di rispondere a qualsiasi domanda o dare indicazioni. Ti danno persino un drink gratuito e uno sconto del 25% in un bar adiacente (Wilson's) La stanza in sé era pulitissima con un letto grande, un bagno caldo e luce naturale. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare a Selina per una visita al centro città.

Ho prenotato una stanza con un bagno, e il personale ha designato una stanza senza. Posso accettare che possano fare un errore, ma il personale non si è scusato per il suo errore quando ho chiesto un cambio di stanza.

Belle boutique per rimanere. Tuttavia, non ci sono amici, ma un bel bar giù.
