My recent experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I had paid for a 3-night stay but ended up only staying for 2 nights due to a series of inconveniences that made my visit unbearable. First and foremost, the check-in process was a nightmare. Coming from the London area to Manchester late at night was already exhausting, but the hotel's policy of having a strict check-in time made things even worse. The latest check-in time was set at 9:00 pm, and to make matters worse, they required payment in cash by 7:00 pm. This arrangement is utterly impractical for travelers who are still on the road or unfamiliar with the city. Unless you're already in the vicinity or happen to have a local connection, this policy renders their check-in service completely useless. To add insult to injury, the receptionist's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. When I called for assistance and guidance, the receptionist not only hung up on me but also declined my subsequent calls. This left me feeling stranded and helpless, especially in an unfamiliar city. When I finally managed to enter my room, I was greeted with a disappointing reality. The room I had booked was advertised as having an ensuite bathroom, but only buried in the fine print did I discover that it was, in fact, a shared bathroom. The shared bathroom looked nothing like the pristine one showcased in the photos. The toilet was cramped, the sink was minuscule and awkwardly positioned right in front of the toilet, leaving barely 30 centimeters of space between them. To make matters worse, the shared toilet displayed the unfortunate remnants of previous guests, with visible stains that were a clear indication of neglect. The condition of the room itself was far from satisfactory. The room emitted a strong, lingering stench of cigarettes that was impossible to ignore. This made the entire environment uncomfortable and unpleasant to spend time in. All in all, my stay at this hotel felt like a horrible mistake. The inconvenient check-in times, unhelpful receptionist, misleading advertising, and subpar room conditions combined to create an experience that was not only far from what was promised but also significantly below any reasonable standards. I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. My experience was more akin to a hostel stay with an added layer of frustration and disappointment.

Hotel is in a good location and is very clean. We stayed before and enjoyed our stay last time so we thought we’d book again for one night but it wasn’t as good. We booked a double room and got two singles pushed together, we kept falling down the middle so didn’t get a good nights sleep. Spoke to the receptionist in the morning and she apologised but we thought it wasn’t worth going down in the middle of the night just for one night but we shouldn’t of had to anyway. When we arrived the people on reception just ignored us and someone had to come out from the back to serve us. I’ll probably look somewhere else next time.

Apart from the lady at reception who didnt seem too interested in me on my arrival, the hotel was fine. I had a main course and a beer in the restaurant area, where the bar / waiting staff were helpful & friendly. Food was delivered quickly, which was hot & tasty with no issues. Room was a good size, clean & tidy, with adequate facilties for my stay. Request a room not facing on to the main road, as it starts to get noisy with traffic early in the morning.

C'era un piccolo problema con la prenotazione quando sono arrivato ......il pagamento non mostrava come ricevuto. Quick sorted ....... anch'io non ero registrato per il colazione il secondo giorno. Quindi qualcosa è andato male. Personale amichevole, buon colazione, camere pulite Grazie.

The hotel is very near the Glasgow cathedral. We can walk to the viewpoint easley in the downtown. The breakfast was very rich and very good. But the hotel recommend 's car park Q parking was very difficult to drive to. If you use Google map, it will lead you to drive in the Bus lane. I drive 3 cycle but failure arrived to the entrance. It was our time to find the carpark. However, I found another carpark nearby, the price even more cheaper, it was only charged £10 for twenty four hours. The Q parking would need £16 a day.
