Manchester: hotel con bar

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. Struttura con ottima posizione strategica a due passi dai punti nevralgici, soprattutto a 5 min. a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Ottima la pulizia, la camera veniva pulita e sistemata ogni giorno. Peccato per la moquette a terra un po’ vissuta. Le dotazioni purtroppo in camera poco confortevoli, soprattutto su due prese usb ne funzionava solo una. Bagno piccolo ma recentemente rimesso a nuovo. Molto confortevole la doccia!

Ho prenotato una camera senza finestra per una vacanza economica di una notte e all'arrivo sono stato aggiornato a una camera con finestra, camera doppia, camera enorme, letto comodo e set per la preparazione di tè e caffè, doccia sopra la vasca, proprio nel mezzo del centro città, la reception è stata molto gentile e mi ha informato che l'ascensore era e il check-out alle 10:00 offrono un check-out posticipato alle 12:00 per £ 10 o alle 13:00 per £ 20, anche la colazione se prenotata all'arrivo veniva offerta a un prezzo ridotto prezzo di £ 9,95, ho prenotato la camera per £ 34 ma la possibilità di includere la colazione £ 42 su trip.com quindi solo £ 3,50 a testa per una colazione che pensavo fosse una buona offerta ho deciso di non fare colazione qui, distributore automatico di snack patatine e bevande al cioccolato vicino all'ascensore 24 ore su 24, TV in camera, la sicurezza in loco non ti avrebbe fatto entrare nell'edificio finché non ti avessi mostrato il numero di prenotazione e la carta d'identità ed era un po' esagerato, non era menzionato nella prenotazione se soggiornando qui gli ospiti non possono venire dopo le 22:00 e devono mostrare un documento d'identità per ogni persona alla reception che non ha visto che prima di solito solo l'hotel prenotato mostra un documento d'identità un po' esagerato,

Excellent views from the bar also level 3 is used for breakfast and meals lunch and evening meals lovely meals towards .manchester , The check in staff were polite , professional and the room was quite old fashioned for the price and for a 4 star , The hotel issued me with a comp check out as booked through *********** from 11am till 12pm and 2 half price drinks at the bar Booked the night before with trip.com which was the cheapest option online cheaper than the hotel direct , Hotel close to train station and tram station , was working going on outside room at 8am to earn trying to rest

The hotel is very near the Glasgow cathedral. We can walk to the viewpoint easley in the downtown. The breakfast was very rich and very good. But the hotel recommend 's car park Q parking was very difficult to drive to. If you use Google map, it will lead you to drive in the Bus lane. I drive 3 cycle but failure arrived to the entrance. It was our time to find the carpark. However, I found another carpark nearby, the price even more cheaper, it was only charged £10 for twenty four hours. The Q parking would need £16 a day.

Really happy with decision to stay with Wilde. Mostly impressed with the room, which, was spacious & represented great value for money. Snacks/drinks...etc priced quite high, but, understandably so. That said, given the amenities offered in the room, self-catering is the primary option, with purchasing hotel snacks/drinks, viewed as a distant secondary option. Would happily stay with Wilde again

Good location for a night out in Manchester. Close walking distance to Canal street. Normal Ibis standard. Friendly staff. Secured paid parking opposite the hotel. Good value for the money. Will stay again.

Considering it was the cheapest hotel I could find at the time, I can't complain. The location is good, within walking distance of the city centre. It's next to a 24-hour McDonalds, which is even better. The decor is really old though; the TV and hairdryer didn't work. If you're just looking for a place to shower and sleep, it's fine. The staff and cleaners were nice.

Location is excellent. Service is perfect. I booked a double room which turned out to be a very big room w a living room. Very spacious coz it’s designed for handicapped. The design n atmosphere of the hotel is very yuppy. I like it very much. The cafe n restaurant served good food. And they have a lot of programs that we can join. We joined the dancing class which taught Lindy hop. I had so much fun. Really give this hotel a thumb up.

Grande esperienza! Da quando passiamo attraverso la porta nel lobby ci circondava l'arte. L'architettura dell'edificio è fantastica e il decoro interno lo integra perfettamente. Ci sentivamo come se fossimo stati trasportati a Gotham City, ma senza Batman. Molto bene pensato concetto e eseguito perfettamente. Molto pochi tocchi per rendere il soggiorno perfetto.
