I had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city.
First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey.
The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful.
In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay.
Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.

We had the worst experience . No room service available. Called the room service to clean up our room but no response unite next day . On day three we were given a plastic bag with room toiletries. Parking wasn’t available in the hotel parking lot.. we stayed for 3 nights /4days ..
Won’t recommend it to anyone.

I informed the hotel via message that I would be arriving late. None of the phones are working, and no one is answering. I arrived at the hotel at 12 AM and was made to wait for 2 hours due to the incompetent and clueless hotel staff. Additionally, the receptionist said they didn’t speak English and mocked me in a very rude manner. I was ashamed in front of my family. This level of disrespect is completely unacceptable. Four of my children were so exhausted they had crying fits. I came to Turkey with my guests and we were humiliated. Only after two hours were the rooms finally arranged. They took our passports and didn’t even complete the registration process. I can’t understand such disorganization and disgrace. I couldn’t reach anyone at either trip.com or the hotel. I had no choice but to accept the rooms, and we barely managed to settle in. What will be done about my distress? I had planned to do Umrah early in the morning and then head to Medina, but now it’s 2:30 AM, and I’m writing this message. Furthermore, when I arrived at the hotel with my car, they also made an issue of the parking. They said the parking lot was completely full, even though there was available space right in front of the hotel. They didn’t allow me to park there and the hotel staff shouted at me. I had to park my car in an unsafe area far from the hotel. I will pursue my rights to the fullest and will make sure this message reaches as many places as possible. I will also pursue legal action to claim my rights.

In Ramadan they closed the way then reaching haram is very difficult second bathroom are not cleaned well need to be updated

Hotel is very good with good amneties but location far away from Haram, luckily they got mini bus which can pass through tunnel nd get to ajyaad street. Which is big plus point.

To call reception for service is very slow and ignore the phone sometimes.
Bus times to go to the haram is very weird unlike other hotels which is 24hrs and easy.
However also very nice hotel in itself. Do not regret it though.

All I can say is wow, 5* value for money
We arrived early and the lady I think her name was hannah, explained very nicely check in is at 4pm but she respectfully checked us in at 12pm so we only waited half an hour more than fair.
The room was very clean and a shuttle service to haram shareef every half an hour (takes 10 mins)
I would definitely book this again.
There are local restaurants near not the best but do able
Taxi easily accessible from outside hotel.

The room was very small and did not match the picture. It was not clean, and the bus schedule was not followed as promised; the bus left earlier than the time given.
I was frustrated that the bus drivers did not adhere to the schedule, even though they advised taking pictures of the timetable to avoid delays.
On a positive note, the food was good so far.
