Hotel di lusso a Il Cairo

"Era il primo alloggio in viaggio con un bambino. Ho dovuto controllare in anticipo a causa del tempo di volo, ma ci è volato più di un'ora per controllare. La velocità e la risposta per controllare erano un po' insufficienti. Le bevande ordinate nel lobby sono state fornite gratuitamente durante l'ispezione. Il tessuto dell'hotel era dipinto e sporco. Il servizio era in generale buono, e non mi piaceva la pulizia dell'hotel. È stato bello avere una macchina ATM vicino alla ricezione sul primo piano. Il servizio in camera è generalmente buono, e è solo quello per i gusti coreani. La posizione è vicino alla città, ma non è facile camminare a Tahrir Square. Perché devi attraversare la grande strada."

"L'hotel iconico situato in questa posizione perfetta, di fronte alle grandi piramidi con una ricchezza di storia e non ci ha deluso in generale. facile accesso alle piramidi, giro di gemme. Buono servizio e personale amichevole. Tuttavia, abbiamo pagato per ottenere una stanza migliorata - per vedere le piramidi parziali. "È pulito. Il personale dell'hotel non ti obbliga a lasciare la mancia prima di arrivare in camera, ed è particolarmente piacevole. Ci sono un sacco di grucce. Mi è piaciuta la camera spaziosa e rilassante e ho prolungato il mio soggiorno di tre notti. Per quanto riguarda le pulizie, basta mostrare un biglietto ”non disturbare” e un biglietto ”si prega di fermarsi” arriverà attraverso la fessura sotto la porta. È silenzioso e confortevole. Si sentono persino i loro lavori di pulizia. Si vede il Nilo e ci sono alcuni venditori ambulanti nelle vicinanze che non sono particolarmente fregature (parlano solo in arabo). Forse perché è un quartiere di hotel di lusso, non ci sono mendicanti. Sono stato molto contento di sentire un inglese con accento arabo alla reception. Il personale non era eccessivamente invadente, diceva sempre cose come: ”Ehi! Aspetta un attimo!”. È un posto confortevole per chi vuole rilassarsi da solo. Essendo una persona che si ritrovava sempre a confrontare i prezzi nel frigorifero dell'hotel e a sentirsi triste, gli snack e le bevande analcoliche inclusi mi hanno incoraggiato a prolungare il soggiorno. Questo è un hotel a cinque stelle dove anche i giapponesi e chi proviene da paesi in cui non esiste una cultura delle mance possono lasciare la mancia senza problemi."

"Stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in I asked the man at the reception if anything else was needed as normally a deposit would be taken. Was told that everything was fine. On the 2nd night we decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the lobby. Food was not prepared as I requested as I ordered steak. The waiter insisted that I sliced through the middle to check it as I ordered medium rare. He agreed that it was overcooked. Took it back and said that they would prepare another order. However, 5minutes later he sent the same steak back to me and mentioned that they checked under proper lighting and it was cooked properly. It was very obvious that it was definitely overcooked and dry. I just accepted it and couldn’t be bothered. Mind you the fries that came with the steak was over fried and hard as rock. I didn’t even eat another piece after trying it. Halfway through chewing on the hard and dry steak. The waiter decided to come back again and ask if everything was fine and if I didn’t like it they could cook me another piece. This was just frustrating and I didn’t want to wait anymore as it was late and I was tired from a full day tour. Finally finished my dinner and asked for the bill. I signed it to the room. The waiter comes back and tells me that I didn’t put a deposit in the room so I had to pay. Mind you I brought no cards or cash since I expected that I could bill to the room. One of us ended up going back to the room to take money to pay for the meal which was embarrassing and unacceptable for our standards. We were staying for 4 nights. On our last night of stay, we came back to the hotel and we were locked out of the room. Had to go back to reception and found out that the person who checked us in didn’t put the correct number of nights. This was truly a disgrace on Waldorf and the receptionist.  Obviously your staff at the check in need more training. I have stayed in many international hotels around the world and never face such lowly trained staff at reception that make such mistakes which spoils the image of the hotel.  However, I have to give a huge shoutout to a few people that made my days great. Menna and Apeeo from breakfast were wonderful. Impeccable service from them. However, male staffs showed poor knowledge and were quite lazy as they were more interested in chatting that serving customers. Bellman Sherif was wonderful helping us check out with our luggages and even waited with us for our transport."

"Se avete il privilegio di rimanere nelle quattro stagioni, fatelo! Non ho fatto check-in perche' ero in lusso tutto il giorno e li ho mandato via la loro app per vedere se il servizio in camera ci fosse prima di entrare. Mi hanno già consegnato il pasto, come ho detto, non c'è problema sapere che il tempo è giusto per essere in ritardo e suppongo che il servizio finisca in un certo punto della serata. Ho solo pranzo oggi, non sono stato a letto negli ultimi 48 ore, hanno messo in camera nuova e hanno consegnato il mio cibo con me per entrare! Sono sorprendenti che abbiano messo anche il mio tempo di spa per domani sera. Sono anche in grado di offrire massaggi nella tua stanza, i loro servizi agli ospiti sono di prima qualità. È prezioso, ma si prendono cura di te! Sono stato anche a Maui, assolutamente non deluso!"

"We stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot."

"La stanza è come una villa, molto tranquilla, un posto tranquillo nel vicolo. Il panorama del fiume Nilo nel piano superiore è molto bello e la colazione è ricca.E'un prezzo leggermente costoso."

"L'hotel è stato rilevato da Hilton. La posizione e il panorama sono molto buoni, le strutture sono accettabili e l'ultimo piano, il 44, è una sala da pranzo girevole. È richiesta la prenotazione per la cena e si può ammirare il Cairo. C'è un posto dove fare una crociera in barca a vela sul fiume non lontano dall'hotel. Si consiglia la vela. La colazione è ricca e offre molta scelta. La piscina sul tetto dell'hotel è aperta solo fino al tramonto, alle 19:00 (come in tutti gli hotel in Egitto), quindi se volete andarci dovete andarci presto. Il servizio è stato nella media e ci è voluto molto tempo per consegnare i bagagli in camera (il ritmo generale del settore dei servizi in Egitto è molto veloce). C'è un ristorante nubiano lì accanto, proprio sul fiume, con una bella vista, ma il cibo viene servito troppo lentamente."
