Risposta dalla struttura: Hi Stephen, thank you for bringing this to our attention. As soon as we learned of your review, the management team checked the door of the previous room that you had. However, the door works fine, and so do the others. As for the other guests, we do ask everyone to be considerate, and our security team will intervene when someone is disrupted to an extreme degree. Because it is a shared dormitory, other occupants come and go to the room as they wish. There are instances when they attend nighttime activities at the bowling alley, and if they come back from a night out, they might not be completely silent. We understand your frustration, but it is all part of the hostel experience. The noise coming from the chicken is out of our control as it is not owned by the hostel. We respect the local community as much as we respect our guests, and regrettably, we cannot ask the neighbor to take action about it as they value their livelihood. Please understand that these issues aren’t a reflection of the Mad Monkey service. Our apologies if we did not live up to expectations, but we hope you’ll give us another go soon and find out what we’re all about and what keeps so many great guests coming back for repeat stays.
