Il nostro soggiorno di solo 1 notte è stato rovinato quando hanno servito un hamburger con carne magra. Dopo un viaggio per il sud di Luanda abbiamo scelto questo hotel per stare vicino all'aeroporto e anche per avere esperienze positive con questo gruppo hotel. Tutto andava bene quando abbiamo chiesto servizio in camera. Sono stati chiesti 2 hamburger e uno di loro era con un odore di carne polvere che sarebbe impossibile non riparare nella confezione di quello. Il personale è stato informato e hanno cercato di risolvere il problema. Come è possibile che nell'hotel più caro di Luanda i standard siano così bassi.... Purtroppo. Ho anche richiesto un trasferimento alle 6 di mattina in punto. Ho chiesto al momento della prenotazione, ho inviato e-mail, ho inviato un messaggio da Whatsapp del concierge (risposto 5 giorni dopo), ho chiesto quando ho fatto il check-in e ho confermato al momento del pagamento che doveva essere alle 6 del mattino. E' stato garantito che il trasferimento sarebbe stato alle ore del mattino successivo, e dopo tutte queste richieste, la verità è che è arrivato quasi 30 minuti di ritardo.

Had to stay at this hotel as i missed my flight and had to bunk somewhere for 1 nite. Chose this hotel as it was close to my office and had some of my colleagues staying as well. In terms of décor this hotel gives one the vibes of the 70's with wide stairs in the Foyer similar to what one might have seen in the Titanic movie. Beautify tiles design along the stairway gives an exotic feel to this hotel. As far as rooms are concerned do not expect luxury as this is a 3 star hotel but has all the amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Solid WIFI, hot water in the bathroom and coffee making facility in the room ticks al my boxes. The restaurant on the first floor serves breakfast lunch and dinner and for a fussy eater like me i found the spread decent enough. There is a Ecuador bar on the first floor as well but i love the one on the roof top. A great place to unwind in the evening over some drinks with expansive views of the marginal and the seaside. Room TV has some international channels that help with some entertainment. Shopping Fortaleza shopping center is just a stones throw away. The only downside being the hotel is surrounded by community and traffic so can be noisy during the night. Overall a quaint hotel with a decent price and all the trappings of basic comforts.

Il 25 maggio siamo arrivati all'hotel e hanno rifiutato di darci una stanza perché hanno presuntamente terminato il contratto con ********** il 19 maggio. Abbiamo sostenuto per 4-5 ore, la gestione dell'hotel Ritz Capital ha anche ammesso che potevano vedere che abbiamo già pagato, ma non ci darebbero una stanza per soggiornare. Usavamo gli ospiti casuali per tradurre, chiamare la polizia, ecc. , non ha aiutato, nessuna stanza. Appendice trova la lettera di Ritz Capital dove essi insegnano al loro destinatario di non dare spazio a coloro che hanno pagato per ********** o altre piattaforme. Dovevamo andare a trovare un altro hotel a metà della notte con tutti i nostri bagagli, ovviamente è stato più costoso, e possiamo considerarci fortunati a avere uno per le 3 notti che abbiamo già pagato ...

I was ill when I arrived after 30 hours of multiple flights. While I was checking in, Maria Mendes (Rooms Division Manager) met me and offered assistance. She was genuinely concerned and I felt quite comfortable. During my 15-day stay, she periodically checked on me to be sure I was OK. My room was a 3-room suite (1 1/2 bath) with views of the Bay: Large living room with a corner mini-kitchen, a room set up like an office, and a large comfortable bedroom. As I was not well, my colleagues came to my suite instead of me going to their office. So, the suite's office was perfect for 2-3 people with laptops to collaborate. Even though I do not speak Portuguese, I had no problems communicating with the very polite and helpful staff. This hotel has the best gymnasium of any I've seen elsewhere. Next to the gym is a salon and I did get a fine very economic haircut. The morning breakfast buffet has a wide selection of quality food. I ate in that dining room (restaurant) for lunch. The menu as well as wine selection will please anyone. My one ”complaint”? I was not accustomed to the huge serving I was given. Delicious. Often, I ate at the cafe/bar adjacent to the swimming pool. It's less formal than the main dining room and you get the benefit of a refreshing light breeze. The Tropico must be the best hotel in Luanda. I felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I will stay there again, and I will recommend it to friends.
