A tranquil retreat in a central location.Embrace all that this famous area of London has to offer,which was once the home of Paddington bear. The Space: A small and compact studio (17sq.m) but with everything you will need for your stay. Double pull out sofa bed (extra floor mattress available in case 3 people need to be accommodated) and a desk if you want to do any work while you're here. There is a kitchenette in the room with a fridge, washing machine (added bonus of a dryer built in!), oven, microwave, kettle, cutlery and dishes. There is also a safe to store any valuables. Guest Access: You have access to the entire flat, the flat is not shared with anyone. Interaction with Guests: Guests will be met upon arrival in the apartment and key will be collected at the end of the stay. We are always available on the phone if something is needed. The Neighborhood: Paddington is an area of West London located between two Royal Parks, Notting Hill and the West End. Stroll through the suburb to find pretty parks, gardens, squares, cafes, the Grand Union Canal and the Grade I listed London Paddington station designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Historically, Paddington is famous for St Mary's Hospital, where Nobel Prize winner Sir Alexander Fleming revolutionised the world of medicine with his discovery of penicillin. It is also where Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were all born. It's only a few minutes' walk from Paddington station to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens,Regent's Canal and the picturesque area of Little Venice with its colourful canal boats, swans, and Canadian Geese.
