Hotel a Leukerbad, Svizzera

Siamo stati all'hotel per 3 notti. Il personale è stato molto gentile, in particolare il cameriere e la receptionista, entrambi meritano un grande ringraziamento. Ci sembrava che il personale lavorasse alle 14:00, visto che abbiamo sempre visto le stesse facce. Il ristorante può essere molto consigliato, il prezzo/prestazione è molto appropriato. Le camere non sembravano le immagini, ma alcune non funzionavano, come ad esempio il ventilatore o la lampada mancante. Il benessere ha una piccola sauna, il bagno romano sembrava un edificio e il bagno solare era troppo caldo per me, e il bagno era solo un massaggio in sala di riposo, che era stato controllato con un robot/IC. Se si ama la macchina più come le persone .... Il colazione era un po' deludente, i frutti non erano tagliati, non c'erano verdure, i pancake erano semplicemente posizionati fino a quando non erano freddi. Chi mette il valore di un colazione dorato non sarà felice.

I have been in Hotel De France few weeks ago with my wife and my child. The staff was amazing and the hotel is definitely comfortable, very close to city center. Walliser Alpentherme Spa was spectacular. I really hope to visit this hotel again.

L'hotel è tranquillo e comunque completamente centrale. Dal P6 dall'uscita diretta all'hotel. Al Torrentgodel che si dirige nella zona sciistica di s 10 minuti dall'hotel a piedi. Vai direttamente dal Tal fino all'hotel. Al bagno termale divertimento Thermalbvad Therme 10 minuti. Al centro del villaggio con ristoranti negozi ecc 5.Min Nel servizio fantastico dell'hotel con un buffet di colazione geniale e alta gastronomia di sera. Personale molto amichevole e precoce. Passe di sci o entrate di giorno direttamente prenotate in hotel, quindi non si deve stare in piedi nelle casse. Bravo camere pulite e tutto lì senza fare il bagno. Balconi soleggiati.

The property is well located within the beautiful village of Leukerbad. Great pool and surroundings, perfect for hiking and relaxing, close to the thermal baths and to all facilities & restaurants in the town. The room was clean, comfortable, and while the bathroom was VERY small, it had all the necessary facilities and was clean. If you’re in Leukerbad to enjoy hiking, bathing, tanning, or simply hanging by the pool, it’s a perfect hotel. If you’re looking for a place with charming and forthcoming 4-star service, then you can forget this place without a second thought. My daughter has Crohn’s disease and cannot eat solid food. We had reserved a family room for 4 including breakfast. Upon arrival we asked if we could remove one BF from the bill, as my daughter wouldn’t have any: That wasn’t possible. We asked if we could benefit from any alternative offer (even a drinks voucher for the bar would have been nice). We were told “No, can’t do anything, my hands are tied!” – by whom I wonder? You have to book the restaurant for the evening. Having had a tiring drive with 2 young kids, we pre-booked the table and ordered the food for 7pm, we arrived at 7pm, the place was nearly empty, the food arrived at 8pm… my kids were already waning. The food was mediocre at best (even in Switzerland I’m not used to pay 130 Fr. for tiny portions of deep-frozen food). At 9pm we asked for the bill, and were told “You have to wait”. So we decided to leave and put our kids to bed instead. Even with the tired kids in tow, the waiter shouted after us “can’t you just wait 10 minutes?”… by now the place was totally empty… why? Spending some time at the pool with wet hair, my daughter asked if she could have more conditioner. We were told “No, only 1 per person per stay”… of those tiny tiny bottles… why? At least as we checked-out, the annoyed front office employee didn’t ask us if we enjoyed our stay (smart move there). And as we left the hotel for the last time before driving back home, an employee we had never seen before left us with these beautiful last words: “THAT’S THE DOOR!” (I’m not kidding)… Now, I understand the hospitality sector is in crisis because of a lack of schooled personal, but the lack of charm of the hotel staff (apart from a young lady at breakfast and a friendly young man in the restaurant) was almost comical.

Siamo stati due volte a Les Sources des Alpes, in entrambi i casi una splendida esperienza. Si tratta di una struttura non particolarmente moderna ma mantenuta in uno stato impeccabile con uno charme particolare. Il servizio da 5 stelle in ogni momento; personale attento e gentilissimo, che esaurisce le richieste in tempo record, sempre molto discreto. Camere: quelle a nord hanno vista sulla piscina esterna, quelle a sud verso il paese. Tra le due preferisco la vista sulla piscina. Le camere sono tranquillissime, non si è minimamente disturbati dai vicini. La pace assoluta. Letti comodissimi. Colazione: varietà di pasticceria da colazione, plumcake, piccoli muffins, diversi tipi di pane e brioches, yogurt buonissimo di vari gusti, oltre a una scelta di alimenti salati. Inoltre una scelta di uova, pancakes e altro alla carta, tutto incluso nel prezzo. Piscine, entrambe con acqua calda. Una interna (che forse beneficerebbe di un rinnovo per quanto riguarda il bacino in se stesso) che offre un ambiente fantastico per godersi il sole del pomeriggio. Un'altra esterna, più calda, con getti sott'acqua. Per me questo è il vero plus di questo hotel, perchè potersi godere i bagni caldi direttamente senza dover andare in uno dei bagni termali pubblici è un vero lusso. Sauna e bagno turco disponibili in un locale a parte. Armadietti esterni riscaldati per mettere l'accappatoio. Il tutto di una pulizia impeccabile. Spa: per chi ama massaggi e trattamenti, una lunga lista è disponibile. Il personale è molto competente . In periodi di alta stagione, meglio prenotare in anticipo. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci l'anno prossimo !
