Abbiamo avuto una buona permanenza, tutto era perfetto fino al mattino all'ora del colazione si è constatato amaramente che il cibo non era sufficiente perché molte cose erano finite.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Laval for one night, during a short business trip. I essentially made this choice because of the price, since, for this trip, the location what not important. The Hampton Inn brand is part of the Hilton chain and the stays allows collecting Hilton Honors points. The property This hotel is located in the town of Laval, north of Montreal, but far from the large shopping centers, but still in a commercial area where one can find several stores and restaurants. This is a small property. The hotel hall is small, but there is a large room next to it where breakfast is served. The room My room is spacious with a king size bed. A nightstands is placed on each side of the bed and on one of them, there are many power sockets. The ground is covered with a very dusty carpet that needs a clean-up real bad. What stricken me, when I got in to the room, was a strong displeasing odor. The air is very dry and you can smell dust in the air. I would go as far saying the environment is unhealthy and hard to breathe. There is a small work desk with a wheeled chair. There is only one power socket available on that desk. A coffee machine with pouches is available, but placed in the bathroom, which is unusual. An iron and its board are also available. There is no other equipment provided in this room, no fridge, no microwave oven. The closet is closed. HDMI and USB plugs are accessible behind the TV. The bed sheeting is worn out, but the bed is very comfortable and gave me an excellent night of sleep, if it wasn’t for the air quality in the room. The bathroom The bathroom is not very spacious. The counter area around the sink is sufficient. Everything is clean. The shower is in the bath. Services The personnel at the reception desk were cold and not friendly. At my arrival, the registering process was long and complicated. There were documents to sign and they took photocopies of my proof of ID. Breakfast was included in the room fare and served in a large room by the entrance hall. Free coffee was available all day. A little counter near the reception desk offered a small variety of snacks and cold beverages. The hotel has an interior pool and a large well equipped gym. Internet access (Wi-Fi) is free and works well. An exterior parking is available and is free. The devil is in the details: - Worn out sheeting. - Vitiated air in the room: dry and dusty. Suffocating. - Very dusty carpet. - Staff not friendly at front desk. Pros - Good price. - Free coffee all day. Cons - Room not well equipped, no fridge.

Recently stayed at this hotel - Suport staff were rude, condescending and unwilling to open up common areas for friends and family to converse. They have a full breakfast area that remains locked unless during breakfast hours. They have a common area above the pool which is locked off and the hotel claims it’s do to structural integrity!? Like, *** - so you’re telling me the floor above the pool may collapse? The common space next to the pool is ribboned off. This hotel claims to be family friendly, yet it isn’t. Cleaning staffing were taking videos of kids playing so that front desk staff could harass guests. Everything from No fun in the pool, to no sitting around. Some ppl were tailgating in the parking lot.

Grande check-in - veloce, professionale e amichevole. Pulizia, abbastanza grande, e tranquilla camera, dotata di una cassaforte più grande di quella usuale (può gestire un portatile portatile 16”), frigorifero a barre e desk per il lavoro. Ben situato se hai una macchina; altrimenti, non molto vicino. Non si può fare passeggiata fino alla strada principale (solo 1 minuto a piedi).A circa 1 km (1.4 km) dal Metro (metro) - se si sta bene, si può prendere il bus # 360 gratuito dal Metro Montmorency, un autobus 5-minute all'angolo vicino all'hotel. In generale, questo hotel è ormai superato, ma sembra essere in fase di aggiornamento cosmetico. Quando siamo arrivati, ci hanno detto che ci stavano portando a una ”suite corporative”, come se fosse una buona cosa.Quando siamo entrati, abbiamo capito che la nostra stanza era una sala di conferenza con una piccola camera da letto attaccato e la piu' piccola doccia che abbia mai visto. (non potevi nemmeno alzare le braccia in esso) ...e era vecchio, sporco e grosso.Nuovo tappeto era stato recentemente installato nella nostra sala conferenze e l'odore era così cattivo che ha fatto acqua agli occhi. Mi sono lamentato e la loro soluzione era una sorta di macchina dagli anni '70 che si sono accostati per due ore e non hanno fatto nulla. Oltre alla nostra strana, strana stanza (che ci è stato detto che non potevamo cambiare), la TV di camera non funzionava, dicevano di mandare qualcuno a ripararla, ma nessuno l'ha mai mostrata. Quindi questo significa che il nostro unico posto dove andare fuori era seduto intorno a una tavola di conferenza in sedie di ufficio per guardare l'altra TV, non molto accettabile o confortevole. Non c'era alcun controllo funzionale della temperatura all'interno della camera da letto o una finestra che si apriva, quindi era incomodo caldo tutta la notte.Il letto così freddo non si poteva muovere un muscolo senza svegliarsi. Il bagno si è svuotato dappertutto quando l'hai chiuso. Non c'erano specchi lunghi come le camere normali. Il centro fitness non aveva asciugamani, pesi molto limitati e non aveva spazio aperto per pavimenti o mattoni. La maggior parte di queste cose sono solo dettagli minori che avremmo potuto accettare, ma tutti insieme questo è stato fatto per un'esperienza meno ideale e per un soggiorno molto deludente e frustrante. Non consigliere questo hotel a nessuno.
