Zeer mooie hotel top

Stayed for a 3 night break. Room was clean and spacious although decor was a bit dark for our preference and overlooked the additional accommodation so no view other than that building. Food was tasty but service was drawn out, one meal actually took 4 hours from sitting down to coffee being served! Only the bar / conservatory area to sit in, no other lounge areas quietly tucked away to chill out with a book. For us this did not live up to our expectation for a relaxing break.

We stayed for our Ruby Anniversary. Staff are amazing. Friendly, attentive and professional. Our Garden room was excellent. Spacious, comfortable and with everything you would need. Shame we couldn’t enjoy our garden and also terrace as weather changeable. The Hotel is so comfortable - nice places to sit in the lounge for drinks and beautiful restaurant. Staff so friendly. The food is outstanding. 5 course Gourmet menu was fabulous. Thank you Lisa & team. So tasty and beautifully presented. Some dishes too pretty to eat. Breakfast and lunch too were delicious. Our anniversary was faultless and we hope to return very soon.

Lovely stay at Northcote again to celebrate birthday. Room in the house is lovely and convenient for the bar and restaurant. the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The highlight as always is dinner, a gourmet five course menu. All beautiful and how do they get so much flavour into the food. one day I'm going to ask if I can have a whole meal of those little starter snacks, they are so tasty. But maybe not, then I'd miss all the other delights. Wild Turbot was a favourite this time but all so good and the wines were also spot on.

We booked the chefs table for lunch to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. From arriving to leaving we were overwhelmed with the service and food. Lisa came to say hello and her genuine warmth is as wonderful as her food. Shout out to Adam who looked after us. There is nothing pretentious about Northcote and their hospitality is a credit to Craig and his team. Lisa you made our mums day, thank you.

Large and plush rooms, excellent food, wonderful views - and sunshine too. The veranda was perfect for drinks and we were well looked after by Iona. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. It was nice, really, nice, and I need to write 200 words...

My friend and I have just returned from celebrating a special birthday at Northcote. It was a terrific experience from the moment we arrived when we were greeted on the terrace by the friendly team. We lunched on the terrace with a light snack and the best chips we have ever had. Our room was delightful with every attention to detail paid in sophisticated style. Comfortable beds and lovely linens. Lots of appreciated touches to create a comfortable stay. The five course gourmet dinner with a new summer menu created very recently was sublime. From the 'snacks' to dessert, every course grew in intensity, ingenuity and flavour. It was truly wonderful. Among the special touches for my friends birthday, a card and a glass of complimentary champagne. It is these gestures that add that extra delight to an altogether memorable occasion. Finally the jewel in the crown, the team who work so hard with ever present hospitality that are a credit and the epitome of Northcote. Return visit definitely on the cards.

I attended a family birthday celebration at Northcote Manor on Wednesday 24 July 2024. The hotel is located in a beautiful location and the manor house is exceptional, beautiful decorated and well maintained. I stayed in a superior room which had its own terrace. The service is of the highest level. The staff are attentive, empathic and light in their approach - it didn't feel stuffy in the slightest. But highly professional with exceptional customer service skills. We had the gourmet taster menu in the restaurant, which was outstanding and truly wonderful experience.

It was just as we expected and was a nice break away in nice surroundings. Just what the doctor ordered.
