Hotel vicino a Mercato Baysideplace, Miami

È stato piacevole fermarci per una notte. La sedia vicino alla finestra era piuttosto instabile, ma sarebbe fantastico se la controllaste. A parte questo, la vista era fantastica e la camera spaziosa.

Positivo: la stanza era ben pulita. Ci siamo addormentati bene. Il desk era molto bello, il wifi era molto bello. La navetta dell'aeroporto era anche bello. Negativo: nessun caffè e nessuno ha lasciato il bagno, abbiamo chiamato la ricezione e ci hanno detto che qualcuno avrebbe portato il caffè e rimosso il bagno, ma non è successo nulla. Oltre a questo, questo hotel non è ben mantenuto. Ci sono buchi nel gangway - è meglio non guardare troppo vicino. Tutto in tutto il suo totale eccessivamente costoso, ma non ci sono così tante opzioni che vicini all'aeroporto. 🤷♀️

Io e i miei due ragazzi abbiamo soggiornato in un hotel vicino all'aeroporto che offre un servizio navetta. La camera era bella e il letto era comodo. La piscina non è stata utilizzata né da noi né da nessun altro durante il nostro soggiorno, ma l'hotel crea molta ombra nella zona, inoltre pioveva a intermittenza. Il personale della reception è stato disponibile e il servizio in camera era buono, anche se alcuni membri del personale parlavano spagnolo e non inglese. Ci tornerei se dovessi soggiornare vicino all'aeroporto. È facile ordinare un Uber per spostarsi e non costa troppo raggiungere le zone più gettonate.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but it actually takes a 20-minute detour by car to get there. It's not easy to find because they changed their name to Holiday Inn Express without any clear notification. Breakfast: The breakfast area was under renovation, so breakfast had to be taken in the lobby area between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the first day, then it changed to 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM without any notice. The breakfast options were limited: eggs, steak-like items that resembled cardboard, milk cartons, juice, coffee, and bread. Dining Options: There are no dining options at the hotel. You have to take an Uber or use Uber Eats to get food, as there are no nearby restaurants, just other hotels. The ongoing renovations meant no restaurant or bar was available on-site. Rooms: The rooms are spacious and I loved the sitting area. There are two TVs in the room, and the bathroom is perfect. However, like many American hotels, there were no toothbrush options and no hand showers. Staff: The staff were very professional and kind. I appreciated not having to present a credit card since everything was paid online. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was good, but you have to re-enter the code every day. Overall, the Cambria Hotel (now Holiday Inn Express) has its advantages, especially with room size and staff professionalism, but there are significant inconveniences due to the renovations and lack of dining options.

La camera, il minimarket e tutto il resto sono ottimi. Purtroppo la navetta gratuita impiega un po' di tempo per raggiungere l'aeroporto, dato che ho dovuto chiamare e aspettare che venissero a prendermi. Ci vogliono circa 15-25 minuti per arrivare in aeroporto. Se non avessi un numero di cellulare statunitense, cosa che non ho avuto molte volte da turista, sarebbe difficile per me chiamare l'hotel.

Review: I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager. There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused. With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back. When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen. This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.

Un servizio davvero ottimo. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, abbiamo potuto prendere l'autobus 7 per il centro di Miami e andare nella direzione opposta al Dophin Mall.
