Hotel vicino a Tempio Parthasarathy, Chennai

In generale, ho avuto un buon soggiorno, come di solito faccio in questo hotel. Le camere sono sempre pulite, comode e molto ben mantenute. La maggior parte del personale era caldo, professionale, e andò fuori dal loro modo per rendere il mio soggiorno piacevole. Un grido speciale a Vijay, che si accinge sempre a fare in modo che tutto vada bene. Ha sempre grandi raccomandazioni sui luoghi da visitare e rende davvero gli ospiti si sentono benvenuti. Questa volta c'erano alcune questioni che mi hanno deluso un po' il mio soggiorno. Le nostre carte chiave della stanza hanno smesso di funzionare poche volte durante il soggiorno. Il personale risolveva la questione rapidamente ogni volta, ma era ancora sconveniente tornare al divano dopo un lungo giorno di giornata. Il problema più grande che abbiamo avuto è stato il servizio in camera, quando ho ordinato il tè e ho trovato un volo in esso; mentre il personale ha finalmente rinunciato alle spese per l’intero pasto, il recupero del servizio avrebbe potuto essere gestito molto meglio. Il giorno dopo, ho sviluppato avvelenamento alimentare e ero violentamente malato per la settimana prossima. Anche se non posso dire per certo che fosse collegato, il tempo dopo l'incidente aereo mi ha lasciato un po' preoccupato per le norme di igiene alimentare. Spero che questi siano stati incidenti isolati, poiché ho avuto in genere un soggiorno molto positivo e ancora considererei di tornare la prossima volta che sono in India.

The hotel is good, and the service was very nice. There was a wide spread of options in the buffet. The initial room we were given had a damp smell, but as soon as I reported it, the staff promptly swapped it for a better one. Overall, it was a good experience.

Stayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins. Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages. Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for! Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him. Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette. Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day! Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai! We will surely return. My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors.

Mi è stata assegnata una camera con letto matrimoniale e mi è stata negata la colazione finché non ho mostrato la conferma di prenotazione di Trip. La camera era comunicante, non c'era un tavolo da studio e si sentiva persino un sussurro. La notte del 17, qualcuno russava a crepapelle, tanto che non riuscivamo a dormire bene, il che mi ha spinto a cambiare camera. Mi hanno assegnato la camera numero 314, che era anch'essa con letto matrimoniale. Dopo aver chiesto informazioni, il personale dell'hotel Benison mi ha detto che tutte le loro camere hanno solo letto matrimoniale. Ritengo che Trip.com mi abbia ingannato con informazioni false. Ho intenzione di presentare un reclamo al tribunale dei consumatori per ottenere un risarcimento. Ma non lo farò.

Returning to this location after eight years, I was hoping for the same 5star experience I once enjoyed. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what it used to be, and the property is beginning to show its age. On a positive note, the staff were warm and courteous throughout—from the reception to the restaurant team. Their professionalism and friendliness was a highlight of the stay. The restaurant manager Nazim was helpful. However, the room was disappointing. Upon entering, there was a strong musty odor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told all the rooms have this smell and that it would dissipate in about 10 minutes—but unfortunately, it lingered. It seems guests may simply become accustomed to it over time. Not me.. lol. The Colony restaurant offered a decent breakfast, though dinner not that much. It felt overcrowded and cramped, and the buffet menu was not the greatest, with food quality was just average. The key strengths of this location remain its convenient setting, friendly staff, and ample parking. With some updates and improvements, it could once again live up to its former reputation.

The room is a total disappointment. Check in on 3-June-2026 for room 2066 (not to sure), change to 1004 and on 5th night, change again to 1020 due to beeping noise as the door is unable to close properly. My colleagues, Rasal PM and Muhamed Ali (2064 to 2020) either have only hot water and disappointing room.

I would definitely return here. Overall, very good value for money.   The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional.  The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent.  We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated. Thank you Holiday Inn.  You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them.  Staff farewelled us on our last day!!   I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

È stato un piacevole soggiorno I. Chennai , buona posizione , il personale è supportivo e amichevole , molti negozi e intrattenimento vicino , In generale , un hotel molto buono a un prezzo ragionevole .

Buon servizio e posizione. atmosfera silenziosa buon cibo e varietà di colazione. l'unico problema è che nella prenotazione online è mostrato fumare è consentito dove è una proprietà non fumante. se cambia diventa difficile per i fumatori.

My recent stay at Novotel was truly delightful. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and offers every comfort a guest could ask for. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-organized. I’d like to give special appreciation to Miss Kulvir Kaur for her remarkable hospitality. She was incredibly courteous, attentive, and ensured that all my needs were taken care of with a smile. Her professionalism and genuine warmth made me feel valued and truly enhanced my overall experience. It’s people like Miss Kulvir who make a hotel stay feel more personal and memorable. I sincerely thank her and the entire Novotel team for their excellent service. Looking forward to returning soon!
