I had a really nice stay at Episode Hotel Hsinchu. The place feels modern and cozy, and everything was clean and well taken care of. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, which made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The location is also convenient for business but not so for leisure holiday. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, easy stay in Hsinchu.

La posizione è media, sembra camminare a distanza dalla maggior parte dei luoghi che sono nel centro della città, ma non molto esattamente camminare, soprattutto con la pioggia. La camera è una buona dimensione, quindi il bagno è con doccia e bagno. La pressione dell'acqua nel doccia è buona. L'alimentazione è solo a 110v, quindi il asciugacapelli è debole e richiede un po' per asciugare i capelli. Ho letto i commenti sul debole asciugacapelli prima, quindi ho portato il mio, ma non mi aspettavo che l'alimentazione di energia fosse così debole che il mio non funzionasse. Letto e bastone sono un po' morbide per il mio piacere. Anche le soccette di carica sono limitate e mentre ci sono 2 soccette universali sul desk, sono così vicine l'uno all'altro che non si può piastrare entrambi allo stesso tempo. C'è anche una piscina e un giardino, ma non abbiamo potuto usarla durante il nostro breve soggiorno. C'è anche un campo da gioco per bambini allo stesso livello della piscina e del giardino.

Can spend the whole day just taking part in activities - breakfast is fantastic, in terms of taste and variety, especially the usage of local hsinchu food - Room big, comfortable and with nice decor - international power socket - baby shampoo, soap and lotion provided - eco friendly (toilet amenities such as tooth brush, paste) only provided upon request - indoor swimming pool - sauna Negatives - location not the best (next to a lake but not near the city centre or other amenities. Only a convenience store at the outside of the hotel) - sound insulation not perfect. Maybe just my room. Room facing the road, can hear the sound of traffic.

L'hotel è molto pulito e ha una posizione conveniente, rendendo facile raggiungere. In particolare, vorremmo ringraziare Cathy Lin per il suo eccellente servizio, che ha incontrato una situazione sfortunata con un altro ospite dell'hotel e che ha gestito la questione con grande professionalità e attenzione. Ha risolto la questione in fretta e ha anche migliorato la nostra sala, che apprezziamo davvero. Cathy è anche molto attenta e proattiva, sempre veloce a rispondere e pronto a fare passo avanti per aiutare quando necessario. Il suo servizio ha fatto una grande differenza per il nostro soggiorno. Molto raccomandato.

Clean room. They got machine to do self check in and check out. Parking space was available in the basement level. Location wise is not too far from central area if you drive, but have to walk very far. Breakfast was nice. They will also give you voucher to redeem cake or drink. Recommended.

The place offers good value for money. It's not luxurious, but it's very clean and comfortable. It's a 10 minute walk from NTHU and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. They offer free bottles of water, which was really convenient The place looks just like the pictures. The only problem was the breakfast included advertisement. They only give you a voucher worth 65 NTD, but you need to spend at least 100 NTD in the store (that's what the restaurant told me), and they only accept cash. The restaurant staff were not very friendly to foreigners. It would be better if they advertised it as no breakfast included since you still have to pay to use the voucher

For the price, this place was very disappointing. First surprise was when checking in, you're told that you have to hand your keys in whenever you leave. I asked why, and they said they don't want people copying the keys, but it certainly doesn't make me feel my stuff is safe when I don't have the key. Why they couldn't use a key card system like every other hotel, I don't know, but they wouldn't have that problem if they did. In any case, the locks are terrible. Like the kind for locking a bathroom door, it'd probably open if you rattled hard enough! The room itself clearly hasn't been redecorated in years, and looks tatty and everything is old and outdated. Worryingly, clearly there's a water leak from the bathroom and the corner of the wall on the bedroom side showed obvious water damage and looked damp. I think the room had been cleaned well enough but everything was so old, I didn't really want to touch anything. There was no quilt cover, just a sheet under it, so who knows how dirty that might have been. Likewise, there was a water cooler in the room rather than supplying bottled water, but I didn't feel confident trying it and bought bottled water from the shop instead. I think they'd tried to make an effort to make the rooms colourful. That was a focus of the room pictures and also they have photos of different room styles downstairs in the breakfast room too, but it just looks a bit weird. In my room, it looks like they found a random outdoors picture on the internet and copy pasted some random English text over the top. So, there's a full wall sized advert for a foreign internet company. It just looks tacky on a bedroom wall! The shower is over a bath, which is pointless as the bath is about 1m long and so nobody would fit in it comfortably anyway. Of course, there's no shower curtain so everything in the wet room gets soaked when you have a shower. Also, there's a sign by the toilet paper dispenser telling you not to put paper in the toilet, so I put my dirty paper in the bin provided. Was quite shocked that they don't clean the room daily as it wasn't a pleasant smell a day later. The breakfast was very basic Chinese style. I've enjoyed the Chinese breakfast in every other hotel I've stayed here, but here it's basically only rice, tofu and pickled vegetables. The location is good though. Close to the train station, and so near to all the sights as well.

The hotel room and overall establishment is old and worn out. It was totally different from the pictures shown in Trip.com. Room is small and there's always smoking smoke entered my room easily as the gap between door is quite big. Sometimes, the smoking smoke from other floors entered from the toilet window which was covered with glass door into my room's toilet. Hence it was very very unpleasant and uncomfortable to sniff in all the secondhand smoke from other hotel guests stayed in other floors. I also found a condom packing which was tore off and dumped at the bottom of tissue holder after I used the very last piece of tissue paper in my room I got a shock to see that. I then realised the hotel was rented out for day use for *** making purpose. As free condoms were provided as part of the amenities. The housekeeping granny was friendly and did her part to clean my room and did my bed maybe she had overlooked about the tore off condom packing laying at the bottom of tissue holder. The water dispenser looks old and no mineral water bottle was given. I ended up buying my own water from convenient store. Location wise is just across the street from the Hsinchu Train Station. Best service I will give credit to the housekeeping granny who is friendly and helpful.

Booked this hotel as my friend is also staying there, I was there only for a night and was given room 601. Once I open the room door I noticed a weird sourish smell. Room is definitely dated. The AC kept making weird noise, had to turn it to low and the noise level is more acceptable.  Other than that it appears to be clean. As I was staying for only 1 night and my friend is staying more nights, after I checked out, I went over to his room to store my perishables in the fridge as my flight is at 8pm. Once I stepped in, there was a strong sourish smell in the room which even the cleaning staff acknowledged that she smell it too. She sugggested opening the window to facilitate better air flow and if it still doesn’t work then maybe will use a air freshener. And then, the metal key didn’t work when I try to open the room door. The same lady assisted me and told me to turn the key left before turning the door knob right. But when I came back to the room, the key doesn’t work no matter if I turned it left or right. She took over and it opened, had to turn it left with more force 😬 Next, AC controller doesn’t work. She came back again and when she press it worked but she also said it’s tougher to press the button, she will change the batteries. After changing the batteries it’s still very tough to press the button, so she changed the controller instead. How eventful.  Won’t stay again if I can help it. Positive note though, the room wall paper doesn’t have the weird black barbwire pattern shows on the pics of trip.com, sorry I forgot to take pics.
