Hotel vicino a Parco divertimenti Farglory Ocean Park, Hualien

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience. They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment. The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard. The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi. Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.

Grande esperienza, nella foresta e nella ruggine, assorbire il fineto e il paesaggio naturale. A Scenic Stay with a Convenient Catch My stay at Hotelday Hualien was a bit of a mixed bag. It has some genuinely charming touches and a great view, but its location and certain amenities require some adjustment. Location & Transportation: The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the Hualien Train Station, which is fantastic if you're arriving by rail. However, I soon realized that the train station is not the city center. The main downtown area is a significant distance away—about a 40-minute walk. This means you'll either need to plan for long walks or rely on taxis and buses to get to the main dining and night market areas. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. The Room: The room itself was a highlight. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The best feature was the large window that faced the train station, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was incredibly scenic and made the room feel bright and open. While the room was comfortable, I did notice that the overall design and some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It's clean and functional, but don't expect a super modern aesthetic. Amenities & Service: This is where the experience was a bit uneven. The gym was quite disappointing. It only had a stationary bicycle and a treadmill. There were no weights, no multi-gym, nothing for anyone hoping for even a basic strength workout. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper facility. On the other hand, the service had some truly thoughtful highlights. When we asked for ice, the hotel staff kindly delivered some to our room, which was a nice touch. The Special Touch: The most memorable part of the stay was a small, heartwarming gesture. The hotel provided us with complimentary postcards. The unique part? They offered to mail them for us, but not right away. They will send them exactly one year later. It's a lovely idea—a little time capsule from your trip that arrives as a surprise in the future. Overall: Hotelday Hualien offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful mountain views, and its proximity to the train station is a plus for travelers. The thoughtful service, like the ice delivery and the ”postcard to your future self” program, adds a warm, personal touch. However, the distance from the city center and the very basic gym are drawbacks. It's a solid choice for a comfortable night's sleep near the station, especially if you appreciate sentimental gestures, but be prepared for the travel time to the main attractions.

L'hotel si trova nel centro di Hualien. Il mercato notturno di Dongdamen è raggiungibile in 15 minuti a piedi e di fronte all'hotel c'è un McDonald's. Il parcheggio è piuttosto spazioso. Il personale è cordiale e il check-in è stato rapido e senza intoppi. Le camere sono pulite e nuove.

Lakeshore Hotel Hualien offre una tranquilla fuga, un servizio di prima qualità e un'atmosfera tranquilla. La posizione tranquilla e pittoresca, associata all'impegno incessante del personale a favore del comfort degli ospiti, rende un soggiorno prezioso, soprattutto per coloro che hanno il proprio trasporto. Sebbene si debba guidare per accedere alle attrazioni e al pranzo nelle vicinanze, l'atmosfera tranquilla e il servizio eccezionale dell'hotel creano una veramente rilassante e piacevole esperienza.

”L'esperienza in questo hotel ha trasformato il nostro soggiorno in qualcosa di davvero indimenticabile. Le camere erano incredibilmente spaziose, con letti così comodi da garantire un riposo perfetto. La colazione era ricchissima e variata, un vero banchetto che soddisfa ogni gusto. Ma il vero fiore all’occhiello è stata la splendida piscina, affiancata dalla piscina idromassaggio, che ha portato il relax a un livello superiore. È stato il tocco finale perfetto per una vacanza già straordinaria, regalandoci momenti di puro benessere e tranquillità. Un soggiorno che ricorderemo a lungo.”

In generale, una buona esperienza (eccetto una cosa - vedi in fondo). La posizione è un po 'centrale e sulla passeggiata, ma non molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria o al fianco dell'acqua. Circa 25-35 min passeggiata alla stazione ferroviaria ma tutto bene. Circa 15 min al confine. Opzioni alimentari: ci sono alcuni ristoranti locali vicino alla promenade, tra cui un negozio di noodle, un tempera donburi e un posto fritto di marina - lungo la promenade. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, molto nuove riparazioni (dal 2025, sembra 2023-2024), nessun frigo nella stanza (solo sul primo piano), ma c'è un caldo. Il letto era un po' rigido ma bene. In generale, si è sentito un grande valore per la posizione e la qualità, e soprattutto per la dimensione della stanza. L'unico svantaggio - facile da risolvere - era le tute. Non c'erano tute da bagno di dimensioni adeguate sul mio soggiorno nel maggio 2025. Le tute piccole sono piuttosto insufficienti per fare la doccia.

Molto positiva esperienza. L'alloggio è molto bello se si cerca un ostello decente a Hualien (anche se potrebbe sembrare un po 'scorrere dall'esterno). La terrazza superiore del tetto è bello per una tazza notturna e il caffè/tea 24 ore è un plus. La comunicazione con il personale del servizio frontale varia molto, a seconda delle competenze linguistiche individuali del personale in servizio, ma non è mai stata una questione reale. Inoltre, siamo stati molto sorpresi di avere un uomo tedesco lì il giorno in cui ci siamo iscritti.

I am overlook that this hotel has no lift. So we need to carry heavy luggage to 1st floor. Provide many boardgame and playing card at the counter. And the prison Theme is quite fun, the hotel provide many prison cloth and prison accessories for photo shooting. special experience.

It's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights. It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it. The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points. On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
