In generale, una buona esperienza (eccetto una cosa - vedi in fondo). La posizione è un po 'centrale e sulla passeggiata, ma non molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria o al fianco dell'acqua. Circa 25-35 min passeggiata alla stazione ferroviaria ma tutto bene. Circa 15 min al confine.
Opzioni alimentari: ci sono alcuni ristoranti locali vicino alla promenade, tra cui un negozio di noodle, un tempera donburi e un posto fritto di marina - lungo la promenade.
Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, molto nuove riparazioni (dal 2025, sembra 2023-2024), nessun frigo nella stanza (solo sul primo piano), ma c'è un caldo. Il letto era un po' rigido ma bene.
In generale, si è sentito un grande valore per la posizione e la qualità, e soprattutto per la dimensione della stanza.
L'unico svantaggio - facile da risolvere - era le tute. Non c'erano tute da bagno di dimensioni adeguate sul mio soggiorno nel maggio 2025. Le tute piccole sono piuttosto insufficienti per fare la doccia.

UUtente ospiteUna delle catene hoteliere migliori (se non migliori) che ho soggiornato a Taiwan. Ho visitato Taiwan circa 10 volte e sono rimasto qui per 2 notti, e in generale sono stato molto soddisfatto dell'esperienza.
Le biciclette sono gratuite (3 ore limite), che è utile per raggiungere Hualien. La colazione è ben diffusa, e ci sono complimentari crema di ghiaccio e bevande disponibili nel lobby intorno all'orologio. Non ci siamo resi conto che offrono anche cena tardiva dalle 7 alle 9:00, che era sinceramente buono come un buffet di cena, con una buona miscela di piatti occidentali e cinesi e anche divertimento in diretta.
La stanza era spaziosa e ben mantenuta, senza preoccupazioni di igiene. La pressione dell’acqua di doccia era buona. I livelli sonori erano generalmente buoni, anche se i suoni più alti come il movimento dei mobili potevano occasionalmente essere sentiti.
L'hotel è convenientemente situato vicino a un negozio di comodità, ristoranti, KTV e un cinema, e si trova a circa 10-minute passeggiata dalla stazione. È possibile anche andare al mercato notturno entro 15 minuti, rendendo super facile raggiungere la zona principale senza avere un taxi.
In generale, un soggiorno molto buono e un buon valore per i soldi. Anche se un giardino sarebbe bello, certamente considererei di rimanere in altri rami per viaggi futuri.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

She just tidy up the bed very fast and change new towel. Never vacuum/mop the floor, dust and hair on the floor very obviously. So don’t expect she vacuum the bed if u request to change the bed sheet. Got flea/ bed bugs. I thought my eczema flare up. But once both my parents also experienced the same. And I noticed the bed sheet got a few spots a little dot. Then yeah it’s bed bugs. I hope the housekeeping auntie can make it better.

Molte piccole cose possono giocare nel giardino di Yan, e anche le strutture di palla di Yan, volare e altre possono divertirsi con i bambini. La colazione è anche ricca. Ci sono giardino di Yan, che è consigliabile!

TTobias TDurante il mio recente viaggio a Hualien, ho avuto l'occasione unica di rimanere all'Albergo della Peace Prison Cafe Inn, che ha superato le mie aspettative. Quando sono arrivato, il tema della prigione mi ha attirato immediatamente l'attenzione. Le camere erano progettate per resistere alle celle carcerarie, che hanno aggiunto un elemento intriguante e immersivo al mio soggiorno.
Una cosa che mi è apparsa è l'assenza di un servizio di accoglienza tradizionale, ma per ottenere l'ingresso, tutti gli ospiti devono fare chiamare il numero di contatto fornito, che aggiunge un toccamento di mistero all'esperienza. La signora che lavorava lì era eccezionalmente utile e paziente, anche prendendo il tempo di spiegare come usare le strutture in cinese.
Come un solo viaggiatore, non potevo aiutare, ma apprezzare le vibrazioni che il luogo esulta, soprattutto perché sono un fan del terrore. Ogni notte, mi trovai immerso in un'atmosfera che mi riempiva perfettamente il gusto. Non è spesso che si incontra un ostello che offre un ambiente così unico e emozionante.
La pulizia è sempre una priorità per me, e sono stato felice di constatare che il Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel non è stato deluso in questo aspetto. Le camere sono state ben mantenute, assicurando un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. La comoda posizione dell'ostello è stata anche un grande plus, rendendomi facile esplorare e godere di tutto ciò che Hualien ha da offrire.
In conclusione, se siete un viaggiatore avventuroso che cerca una sorta di esperienza, consiglio vivamente di controllare il Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel. Con le sale con temi carcerari, personale utile, ambiente aereo e posizione conveniente, è una scelta ideale per chi vuole aggiungere una svolta eccitante al loro viaggio. @@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
