Hotel a La Union, Filippine

The place is instagrammable and most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. My otherwise shy parents loved their swim-up room because it afforded them a semblance of privacy while enjoying the pool. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable. I personally love the balcony overlooking the pool complex. And bathrobes are always appreciated. The beach has fine, whitish sand. The buffet breakfast is adequate, standard, (although I heard a couple complaining at the salad bar due to the lack of salad dressing). The fried bananas were the star of the breakfast buffet, and we kept re-filling our plates with it to make up for the very ”malitid” beef tapa. The river pool was quite enjoyable and we found ourselves just floating with the current. For some reason, the water in the river pool and slide pools/pool bar were quite hot (not ”warm”). Im unsure if that's intended or the sun was just too hot that day. There were incidents though that we found stressful/annoying/disappointing. As we were on our way to Aureo, I received an email and text message from them saying they are letting go of our reservation (4 rooms, since we are a party of 10), because they did not receive any confirmation from me. I backtracked on the reservation email they sent days ago and did not find anything requiring me to confirm. All I remembered was that they were giving us the option to either pay up-front or settle the fees upon check in. It was later sorted out and we were told they will hold the rooms for us. Nevertheless, that email/text message considerably caused us stress, as we were already on the road, with kids and senior citizens in tow. Perhaps the management could adopt a better way of informing clients that a confirmation is needed, or that payment should be made upfront (which we would have gladly done), instead of automatically sending a message, without prior notice, that they are cancelling our rooms. Since it was our parents' anniversary and it was a rare occasion for our family to be complete, we arranged for a private dinner by the beach. We agreed to the P5k dinner set up by the beach, in addition to the P750/person boodle fight food. We were, however, disappointed to find out that the 5k set-up consisted of a simple plastic table and chairs, with lights strung above (see pic). We checked Aureo's pics from IG and saw that previous set-ups have arch backdrops with flower garlands, etc. I suppose we expected something similar for 5k. It did not help that just a few feet away, the restaurant has beach tables and chairs with better lights/lanterns, where we could have eaten without the additional 5k charge. As a compromise, the staff reduced the beach set-up fee to P3k. We reluctantly accepted this so as not to ruin what could hopefully be a special dinner for our parents. The staff also informed us they will only charge us for 8 persons although the set up was for 10pax. While we appreciate this, it must be pointed out that the 9th and 10th pers

A newly opened Hotel in San Fernando, La Union provides comfort with an affordable rate. Located along McArthur Highway and very adjacent to Robinsons Mall. Only has rooms good for a maximum of two guests, no family room is available. The beds are very comfortable and the interiors are very classic. No locks on the CR. Needs assistance when using the elevator.

First visit at the sports bar for a lovely sunset experience after being warned about higher prices to be expected from a local and from our four meals two were excellent and two were poor. The poor ones were the the Beef Salpicao and the Beef Rendang where the meat was not tender but tough and gristly and lacked authentic flavour. In contrast the shredded beef obviously was much better in the Thai Basil Beef (Pad Gra Prow) and the Pork Adobo Overload was great AND the meat was so tender and tasty. Perhaps could have had less belly fat for me but that’s the best part according to my wife. Drinks good. Attracted by the live band music next door , we had traditional desserts at PM Final Option which set up for a nice walk back to base along the beautiful beach under a full moon. ps Awesome - you should review having staff smoking in the bar when it’s primarily used by guests having dinner.

Il posto è molto pulito e a casa. Il colazione piatto è servito buon gusti e ha servito abbastanza. Il personale è molto utile e lavora con integrità, soprattutto quando ho lasciato l'anello nella stanza durante il check-out. Nessun frigo, TV, asciugacapelli.Ma ci sono caldaie elettriche, mutandine, occhiali, asciugamani e toletta forniti. Sono anche forti connessioni con WIFI. Questo non è un hotel tipico dove si può aspettare che qualcuno vi aiuti in qualsiasi momento. Quindi gestisci le vostre aspettative, soprattutto quando tornate tardi dall'esterno, perché si deve usare la campana della porta per il curatore aprire la porta principale per voi. Non è una questione per noi, perché il curatore è sufficientemente attento per aiutare. C'è un parcheggio limitato all'interno della cortile, ma credo ci sia spazio disponibile vicino al noleggio. L'unica migliore richiesta sarebbe l'installazione di tende più spesso per una migliore privacy e un'esperienza più rilassata, poiché può bloccare l'illuminazione e il rumore dall'esterno. La strada d'accesso è stretta in un modo per andare intorno alla schiena di palengke. L'iscrizione era amichevole e veloce. L'atmosfera è romantica e bella. Un bel stile di resort. Con 3 piscine molto piccole. La spiaggia è tranquilla, pulita, bella e privata, ma con un'apertura forte e segnali di avvertimento, il modo in cui l'ingresso può essere pericoloso. E vedo perché. Non davvero per i bambini a meno che tu non nasca sulla spiaggia e sappia che è un bell'acqua. La colazione era 4-5 scelte pre-set ma molto OK per me. Per me solo alcuni pc di frutta e pane, il miele con il burro farà il trucco. Con succo e caffè. Abbiamo andato a Kahuna spiaggia per alcune lezioni di nuoto e surfing in mare. Che è come 10 minuti per auto o 50P per persona in trucco che mi colpisce come forte. La spiaggia è molto più morbida per nuotare più sicuro. Ma anche molto occupato agire come la spiaggia pubblica. Ma se ti piace la pace e il silenzio e godere della spiaggia stessa questo posto è davvero un'opzione. Le camere erano più vecchie stile carino ma spaziose. La doccia era bello, ma per favore cambia la testa della doccia nella camera 8. La matrigna da letto era buona, ma non mi piaceva che il letto fosse solo un cappello economico. Nessun foglio. Il personale era eccellente e amichevole. Oh e il ristorante è anche consigliato. Mangiamo 2 di 3 notti solo al resort e molto buono per le scelte Filipino.

Abbiamo goduto il nostro soggiorno qui (dal aprile 16-18) con i miei sorelle (eccetto per alcuni commenti). Il resort era pulito, la camera era molto spaziosa per 2pax (ocupavamo 2 camere) può adattarsi a un gruppo di 6 pax per camera se massimizzato. Il bagno era anche spazioso. La camera AC funzionava bene. Ci siamo trasferiti nella stanza 119, i miei commenti per la stanza sono specificamente come segue: il riscaldatore della doccia non funzionava quando ci siamo trasferiti, il bagno era fugato, la stanza aveva un odore di odorazione (pesce con la giù). Suggerisco anche che la gestione dell'hotel ricorda ai loro ospiti (in generale) di mantenere basso il rumore/voci o di evitare rumore inutile dopo le 10 pm considerando altri ospiti dell'hotel (come cortesia---non tutti gli ospiti sono al resort per la festa, alcune persone vogliono solo godere di un posto tranquillo e tranquillo per riposare e rilassarsi). Il colazione gratuita era decente. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile. Vi consiglierei di rimanere qui, non così pieno come i ristoranti di San Fernando o San Juan.

The main attraction is the Beach and pool which have been neglected over the years missing tiles unused bars etc also the general public can come in and use the facilities for a small charge The Beach is covered in stones and rubble the showers don’t work so you can’t rinse the sand from you on the beach considering the price we paid there is a lot better places to stay for less money,on arrival we reported the bath in our room wasn’t working there was no follow up luckily there was a shower in need of tiling and no hot water,I we accidentally knocked a glass of our bedside table which we were charged for I am sure this wouldn’t have happened at the bar.The food was average and overpriced

The location is good. The place, amenities are cool. We got some issues with their reception, they only cater until 10pm, there is no people avail to accommodate you if you manage to come midnight. The water doesnt smell good.
